Excellent all around service. It's hard to find a good mechanic let alone an honest one, and with Superior you get both! The office staff are extremely kind.
Exceptional service! I was referred by a neighbor and every year they would take care of my cars inspection and regular service with extremely affordable rates.
This year, they discovered rodents in my engine. They cleaned it and installed a repellent device, again for very affordable prices.
Since then, they serviced my car twice more under warranty (no extra charge), which was a god send as the problem persisted. I was very impressed with their service and care to fix the root issue, cheers!

Not a bad shop if you know what you need done ahead of time. Took my car here and asked them to look over it and let me know if anything needs to be replaced. I also mentioned there was a rattling noise in Drive when stopped. They said they couldn’t find the rattle and that nothing else needs replaced.
Got a 2nd opinion from a different shop, and they immediately put the car on the lift, located the source of the rattle (heat shield right behind the catalytic converter), and also pointed out and *showed me* potential points of failure to look out for in the future (engine mounts starting to wear out, exhaust parts rusting, etc)
It seemed that Superior was just a bit inattentive when it comes to inspecting a car for preventative maintenance. Their communication is pretty good, but the quality of service left a bit to be desired.
Also, the requirement to find a parking spot nearby (in a pretty busy neighborhood) instead of dropping off your car directly to them is a bit annoying. I thought it would be a fine trade off for excellent service but I think my expectations were a bit too high.
Look no further for a reliable, fair priced, EXPERT mechanic shop in Brooklyn. Truly love these folks. I have a 20 year old Honda that they treat like a brand new Benz. So kind, so knowledgeable... the absolute best!

Superior has taken care of my car since 2008. They have done excellent work and their mechanics are courteous, friendly, and knowledgable. They have gone out of their way for me several times. They have kept my car running well and repaired some things I thought were hopeless. I have gone to several shops in Brooklyn and my parents' mechanic in the Bronx, and I would not consider their prices to be out of line. Not having a chart with cost comparison makes it difficult, of course.
Everything about cars stresses me out, but Superior Care Auto Center alleviated all that stress. They are thorough, efficient, and do excellent work. I particularly appreciate their customer service; the staff are patient and polite, and are happy to explain things in detail without being condescending. I wish my primary care physician took as good care of me as these folks take care of my car!!!
In the past I've always left other auto repair shops with the feeling that I was somehow "taken for a ride." Issues unrelated to the problem I had originally taken my car in for would always pop up. Of course they would also be expensive problems. Superior Care Auto Center is the first place that l felt confident that they did the necessary work and were honest. I will take my car back here again. A good, honest auto repair shop is very hard to find.
Great -- as always! My car air conditioner stopped working last summer when I was out of the city, and I had to take it for an emergency repair, that never really worked well. This year when it stopped working completely, I took it to Superior Care, and they fixed it so it works perfectly (and thank goodness on 90 degree days like today!).
After my great mechanic in Manhattan retired, went from incompetence to rip off, until a friend sent me to Superior in Brooklyn. I feel like I am home again at last!
Two years after above, went back with driver side window broken. It was quickly repaired, by welding the broken part instead of buying and paying for a new one, cost entirely reasonable, no fuss. Great resource and worth the drive from Manhattan, which is now an auto mechanic dessert,
We have been using this team for our cars for more than 20 years. They are top notch, reliable, honest and fair. That has been true whether we had a old car or a new one. I think that is as good as it gets when it comes to cars! Now that they use email and messaging, they make it even easier for communication. I recommend them without hesitation!

These guys are definitely #1 when it comes to customer service! They are organized about setting up appointments, where to leave your car, and when it's ready to be picked up. They also explain their repairs in a clear, easy to understand way. They will go the extra mile when it comes to customer service as their user rating suggests and they are Angie's List Super Service winners for the past couple years.
So why only 3 Stars? Their mark up for auto parts is OUTRAGEOUS! I came in for a wheel alignment and it turned out I needed a new outside and inside tie rod for my front right axle. They were professional enough to give me an itemized breakdown of the charges and ask for my approval before going ahead with the repairs. They charged me over $200 for the parts when I found them on the internet for less than $85. I know every garage charges a premium on parts and I don't expect them to give me internet prices, but charging me over a 100% mark up is EXTREME! I will still come back to Superior because they are professional, organized, trustworthy but I might have to buy the parts myself beforehand.

Recently I had to have my car towed from the FDR to Superior Care late on a Sunday night. I got a call from Frank Monday morning, by noon they figures out the issue and I picked it up at 4pm! I had thought that my car was a goner...it was a defective battery and a fan. I feel very well taken care of here and trust them like family. I highly recommend Superior Care Auto Center. They are no nonsense, quick and trustworthy.

Trustworthy and courteous. They got to our car faster than expected, and got done everything we needed done without throwing in the extra (unnecessary) "repairs" and charges you sometimes get with other auto shops. I would never hesitate to recommend Superior to a friend - they live up to their name.
We've been bringing our car to Superior for over 10 years. Always affordable and good diagnoses. Plus helpful and very nice. They're new texting service is great for those of us who forget to change the oil or schedule a check up.
I've been coming here for 4 or 5 years now. I'm impressed that they keep details of each car and perform preventative maintenance exactly as the manufacturer recommends. I can leave the car and say, oil change and routine maintenance secure in the knowledge that they aren't going to do anything extra and will do everything required.
On the few times I've been in for repairs as opposed to maintenance the issue or problem is explained in a straightforward manner and multiple options for repair, if they exist, are set forth.
My only (small) quibble with Superior is that I wish they stayed open a little later in the day to pick up. I sometimes need to leave my office early to get there before they close and avoid driving home at the peak of the rush hour. I would much prefer to get it later and drive home as the rush hour is winding down.
This is the best mechanic I've ever had (and I've had some good ones!). Completely trustworthy, and willing to come up with creative solutions for keeping my 2001 Buick with 200K roadworthy. The location is great, too, with plenty of parking under the BQE that's not subject to alt side rules.
These guys are great. I found them because a friend recommended them - she's been going there for ten years. They're very up front about what they're doing and what you're paying for, and will also shoot straight with you about what needs to be fixed immediately and what can wait. They also have good relationships with other specialty shops. They worked a miracle on my car for a few hundred bucks that would have been at least a grand anywhere else. Really great, trustworthy people.

The service is excellent here from start to finish of the repairs. This company runs like a very fine watch; competence in every way. I have a very old car and Superior keeps me safe and comfortable with it. I feel very lucky to be within walking distance to them,as well. This is the best garage in every way. I have been taking my car to Superior for nearly 10 years and they have never failed to provide excellent service. They are honest and always explain everything (to a novice car person like myself), and I feel as though I can really trust their opinion. I have taken my car elsewhere on a few occasions and always regretted it and came running back to Superior. Frank, Charlie, Lindsay, and everyone else at Superior are all so knowledgeable, and nice!
Consistently, they give straight answers, the car is ready when they say it's going to be ready, and, most importantly to someone with a car that's got some miles on it... they show good judgement about when it's time to just fix something, when it's time to call me and say, "This is going to cost a few bucks, but we think you should fix it," or time to say "We don't recommend you spend this kind of money on this car right now." Good people, good service.
Superior Auto Care, time and time again, has delivered with honest assessments, fair pricing, and great service that has kept my older vehicle (205K+ miles!) running smoothly. I can't say enough about Superior, it's always a pleasure.
Consistently good experience with Superior Care, topped by a real standout recently. The other day, I took our 100,000-mile-plus, approaching-its-golden-years car to the dealer because of a recall. Don't exactly trust the dealer's service department, so right off the bat didn't even want them to change the oil. The dealer called with a list of three issues they'd identified, that would cost about $1600 altogether to "repair." Told them not to do it and brought the car to Superior instead, which fixed the one non-bogus issue with a $40 clamp on the axle boot.
The guys at Superior are the best. They are honest and adhere strictly to "If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It". They are very exacting when they explain to you what the problem is and when you report a problem to them they will not work on it unless they observe it themselves and can accurately diagnose it.
While they aren't the cheapest around, they aren't the most expensive either. The quality of work they do is worth every penny. They gave me an estimate for a wheel bearing replacement but, when it took several hours longer, they gave me a big discount on the bill since they had told me it would be less.
Best of all, I was on a trip in Virginia when my service engine light came on with bad misfires. I called them in NY to get their input before having a local mechanic in Virginia touch my car. They even checked everything out when I got back at no charge.
These guys are the best!
Honest, reliable, friendly, fair, professional... I could keep going but you get the idea. Over the last 6 months, my 13 year truck was having some issues. I found Superior on the web and I am now a loyal customer. After going there a few times for different unrelated issues they have proven their worth to me. They are the best auto shop I have yet to encounter. I normally don't write reviews good or bad, but they deserve to be recognized for the great work they do. If you live in Brooklyn and are not taking your vehicle there then you are doing yourself and your vehicle a dis-service.
Frankie and these guys have the only auto shop I would recommend to anyone in Brooklyn. They will get nothing but rave reviews from me. I have a vehicle that needs work often and Superior is my go-to shop. They're always fair and honest. They cut through the BS and are great communicators - which is the most important thing in an auto tech. And they do all the little things that mean so much. I wouldn't trust my vehicle with anyone else.
