My car was inspected by Catskill Chevy to see if I can get a recall done Chevy in Catskill New York. Did that inspection now that I get the recall done all of a sudden my rear springs are broken on the day I get my recall completed. It’s all a scam not good for business just go somewhere else

Wow! So impressed with my visit to Sawyer Chevy in Catskill, NY! From start to finish it was awesome! Brianna McClusky was so helpful and accommodating. She took care of all of my questions. I felt like I was in very good hands. AND the video of the 13 part check up done by Noah was amazing!. I love this feature! He also fixed a fender liner rubber gasket that came loose on top of everything else. GREAT PLACE! GREAT SERVICE! GREAT PEOPLE!
I would like to say Kevin and Mark these two people working here are very professional at the job they do. Every question I had for them they were able to answer it for me. I bought a new 2026 Chevy Equinox LT. This dealership really does care for the customers. Each person I talked when I was there was very polite and professional I just can not remember other people's names. I mainly had interactions with Kevin and Mark. Looking forward to see how the service is going to be when I need it for my vehicle.

Had to take my son's Chevy truck in for service for him as he is in the military stationed at Ft Bragg.

The people at Sawyers were great. We worked directly with Brianna. My car went in for an inspection and oil change. They suggested maintenance that was due and showed exactly why they suggested them being done. I didn’t feel any pressure to get them done. At the same time they found an issue. A call was made and was able to get the part taken care of under warranty. I highly suggest going to Sawyers.
I’m driving a S-10 2002 pickup which developed a leaking weather stripping drivers side ,couldn’t find any repair shop to do the job ,was told if you can find the parts we’ll do the job ,other shop just told me that no one has the part -obsolete. So I contacted Sawyer and they said they have a nation wide network of part suppliers and give them a few days after they determine the stripping that needed to be replaced .So that’s what we did ,they identified the part found it somewhere down south had it shipped up ,went to install it and it was too short, the tech save the day by cleaning the old weatherstripping and the door frame of the truck ,realigned the door and reinstalled the old weatherstripping it,as good as new !
Thank you Team Sawyer Chevrolet for keeping our race team on schedule for our dirt racing down south. Our haul truck was in limp mode so we had to find a dealership who could take care of it's issue. Your crew at Sawyer took us right in and diagnosed the issue, got us back on the road without a hitch. Thank you again so much!!
I went in knowing it was going to cost more than I wanted it too but my car is running great. Everything sawyer did was explained and asked first. It was a good experience.
Mike and Kim are awesome. I really appreciate the explanations concerning repairs made and I find that I appreciate "Hank the Tank" my Buick Lucerne almost as much as they do!! Mike and Kim seem to treat my vehicle as if it was their own. I really like that very much. Well done. Recommended highly.
Had an alignment issue with my car. They investigated found no damage thus making the adjustment fairly painless. The tech. Explained the repair and the measurements before and after. In my case they were able to repair it as I waited. I felt the time frame was very reasonable. Thank you maintenance team.

Super friendly guys to deal with. They swapped a whole battery in my Chevy Bolt and they did a great job. They even showed me the crate that the new battery came in, which was the size of a baby grand piano. They kept me informed the whole time and everything was covered under warranty. Will definitely use them in the future.
42 days is a LONG time for your vehicle to be in the shop. It was an expensive and inconvenient experience but I am grateful for Briana and team for trying to make it smoother. Finally have my truck back!!
As we all know the purchasing process of a vehicle can become stressful and overwhelming; however, the team at Sawyer Chevrolet made it easy and stress free. They were all upfront and honest about the truck I was purchasing and guaranteed it be fixed which was very reassuring as a young adult. While working with the service department they have all been incredibly helpful and caring. Mr. Mike has gone above and beyond to ensure that my experience with them has been easy going. 5 stars isn’t enough for Sawyer Chevrolet. From the moment I looked at the truck and spoke to Barry (Sales) to the last time I was in with service it has been a great experience. Last time I was in for service, Brianna was so accommodating and informative every step of the way. I’ve told all of my friends and anyone who would listen that this is the place to shop. I live in the Capital Region but gladly take the 50 minute drive to go back to Sawyer. 5/5 or 10/10 the best dealership!
Buying the car was a great experience. Now a year later the car is stuck in power save/limp mode. They said if I drop it off today they can’t start working on it for at least 3 weeks and they only do rentals for $50 a day but can’t get one of those for at least 3 weeks either. Spent $25000 to drive the car for a year and now I sit with no car for at least a month. Buy from here if you want this great treatment.
Update 12/20/23 after leaving this review I got a voicemail from the supervisor wanting to make things right. I’ve tried calling 7 times and got his voicemail every time. Also got the original problem fixed somewhere else and a few days later a new check engine light came on. Very disappointing considering the reputation the saugerties sawyer motors has and Bought my last 2 cars from saugerties sawyers and had no issues for 12 years.
They are very busy this time of the year. I had a few small items for repair on my New Truck. They fit me in the best they could and within a few days all the issues were resolved. Excellent communication by the service team.
Awful all around ! After 2 full days of not having my vehicle almost 3K later still have same noise in front , they disabled my brake system on the dash instead of reprogramming it . They did all kinds of flushes left oily gas substance all over the side of my truck ..didn't come off in car wash had to scrub it by hand ..not to mention if you blow thebpicture up there is a dent there as well..oily substance still all over my back rim and wheel. They said next time they would give me a free car wash ..SMH ..will never go back
My engine light was on and my regular garage gave me a 6 week wait! I called Sawyer Chevy and a 1 week wait, and I have never been there before! They took a video of my inspection and had all the parts in stock and I had my car back that day! Definitely a new customer! Polite and friendly staff! Thank you!!!!
We bought a 2018 Equinox from Sawyers and took it to them for the services & inspections. Got us in in a timely manner. Always a good experience. Took the Equinox to them for an inspection May 31st of this year and ended up buying and driving out that day with a 2023 Trailblazer. Our sales person was Tim Day, a great guy, when we bought the Equinox and now the Trailblazer. He was very knowledgeable each time.
