They had a vehicle scale for my Steel and a smaller scale in the back for my copper. Workers gave clear polite instructions, the yard is very spacious, and I got in an out quickly with cash.
I took my father-in-law there are several times for him to scrap his copper wire. They seem to be very honest and friendly. he wants to keep his business local so he will keep going back here. Good people
I travel the country doing large factory clean outs. I’ve dealt with hundreds of scrapyards. ASAP is by far at the top of the list. ASAP and there crew and removed over 300,000 pounds of scrap in 3 days, They also pay top dollar. Steve and Dave and the boys were great to work with.

I have used ASAP a few times now. I find them to be probably the easiest scrap yard to deal with, that I have ever used in many years or scrap yards. Easy in weigh, unload, and easy out weigh. The set up just seems to work well for me.
Now I do admit that I never really paid attention to the weights and just trusted that ASAP will do the right thing with their customers. So if they took advantage of me (as another customer had expressed), I would not know. I prefer to think positive about folks until I have a reason to not think positive. As such, the folks at ASAP, all seem friendly and efficient. My interaction with ASAP have been positive.
I do not do scrap looking to cash in per se'. For me it's more about getting rid of scraps or junk and getting a few bucks for it, rather than donating it to the town, or worse yet, paying to get rid of it. So I am obviously just the small time customer.
But as far as I am concerned, ASAP is a convenient place for my disposal of scrap metals, that actually aids in the cost of getting rid of said scrap. Plain and simple.

This company is the best in the area when it comes to scrap metal pricing and service. ASAP Recycling is a reputable company with a scale that actually gives you the exact weight you bring to the yard. It is a pleasure doing business with a trustworthy organization.
Just to clear up some complains about ASAP customer service, dealing with phone calls. I never use them, yet. I called to get prices, two times whent to voice mail and I hung up not times without leaving any message. The gentleman still called me, inquiring, what that I called for. He was very polite, and right to the point, gave the answers to my questions. They wasn't any question regarding me or the scrap metal that I have. I will add to this review, after bring the scrap metals, see how it goes!
Wish I could give zero stars for the simple reason of, lack of professionalism. I called to get some prices. I was put on hold for 8 mins, and then when I finally got to speak to some one I was interrogated. Before giving any prices the gentle man on the phone asked where I was calling from, and if it was business or personal. Then he proceeded to only give one price then gave me an attitude for asking about more prices. He refused to give me anymore prices and told me that they would price it out when I got there. I'm not even sure if I want to go to them I'm trying to call around to weigh my options.
My experience with ASAP Scrap Recycling has been negative. Their weighting is very questionable and the pay per pound is pretty much based on how they feel that day. They blather about market prices but without making any sense or clear reference to which market they are referring to. Do your research, there are much better companies out there.
I have not used ASAP but I have a cub cadet tractor that worked last time I used it 5 yrs ago, Needs a battery ,If you make an offer I will make a deal
