I would have left Markham's Auto a 5 star rating even before what occurred 2 days ago. I purchased a 2014 Ford F150 about a month ago and Nick made the buying experience pleasant and smooth. No pushy sales tactics, no pressure, just straight up honesty. He allowed some wiggle room on the sticker price, took care of all the DMV business and I took delivery of the truck with a fresh oil change, a cleaned and detailed interior and a tankful of gas. Markham's offers a 30 day warranty on used vehicles and as luck would have it right around the 30 day mark I went grocery shopping, went to start the truck and it wouldn't turn over. Tried jumping it, banging on the starter, checking fuses etc. to no avail. I called Nick and even though he was on vacation in another state, he arranged for someone to go deal with the issue. This happened on a Friday night and by Saturday morning the truck was fixed and ready to go. It turns out there was a frayed wire leading to the starter. There was no charge for the parts or service and the truck is starting solid and strong again. Nick is absolutely a standup guy and conducts business the way a customer would expect, with honesty and integrity. I went to 5 different used dealerships before choosing to do my business with Markham's and I'm definitely satisfied with the choice I made. I purchased a 2001 Chevy 3500 pick up from Markhams Auto and have to say it was the best experience I’ve had purchasing a used vehicle. They went through the truck and made sure everything from the brakes were not just legal, but in perfect condition, replacing every most everything, the test drove it again and they felt a small vibration, fixed the driveshaft and had it balanced. Plus much more before they would release it to me. Great experience, great shop, and great father and son team. Thank you and I will definitely buy from there again. I also live 250 miles away, so worth the trip.
Great guy. Honest guy. Does not sell junk. Quality cars and trucks. My wife just purchased a 2007 LTZ Tahoe and she loves it. It needed a minor repair and Jeff took care of it immediately. I am a skeptical buyer when it comes too smaller dealer lots but I trust these people. Overall great experience will buy from them again.
