I took my 22 Denali to Trux outfitters to get a plow mount installed in 22 and the installer went out to truck with me and I discussed how I wanted it and he made it awesome and took the time to cut valances so it looked good. In 25 I took that 22 to get the mounts torn off prior to trade in, they made an appt fast and worked with me when I could not make it to first appts. They also worked with me to get my new 25 Sierra 3500 Denali ultimate in quick to put new mounts on. They answer the phone quick and get you in quick. When I dropped it off when I Tim tried to discuss with them about keeping all valances on and they really seemed disinterested. They pointed to the online instructions that you are to take them off and discard them. The installer seemed so uninterested to even acknowledge my request I walked out and got in my wife’s care and said “yeah that installer doesn’t care he won’t try”. Luckily the pieces taken off with care and left in my bed and I was able to come home and cut the pieces and get four different pieces cut and screwed up on and very secure even tho that was their reasoning for not wanting to do the extra work. All and all pretty good service but if u buy a 100k truck and care about details it’s prolly worth going to a shop in a bigger market like thruway in Rochester where they are more familiar with nicer trucks and picky customers.
Had a factory authorized recall on my Scag Z-Turn. Although I didn’t purchase from Trux, John sent his driver out to my house, picked up my mower, performed the recall repair, and brought it back to my house for no charge. I don’t easily forget a dealership going the extra mile for their customers… I will definitely be using this dealership again. They were GREAT !
I stopped in at Trux Outfitters because my older style Western Plow stopped working. The Crew was ?% Above and Behond with knowledge & assistance with helping me. Obviously my Plow was frozen from water finding its way into the hydronic oil. Those guys deserve 2 thumbs ?
If U Want Something Done Right, This Is Not The Place. Took my truck here to get my plow installed ended up with a rats nest of wires. Before the end of the plow season head light don’t wanna work. Took it back they was only able to get the lights to work on low beam. Took it back last week and they telling me they can’t work on it cause it’s too much of a headache. I told them that’s yah work how can yah not figure it out. Now I’m still with no high beam and no brake lights. Thanks trux outfitters ????????

Needed a plow harness for a older blizzard for a 2014 ram install and had the parts in-stock. Very helpful staff that was knowledgeable. Would use again for parts.
Bought a 10,000 dollar mower I initiated every conversation, was told salesmen would call me back which he never did. Mower came in and I was never notified I had to call to find out they closed early that day so I had to rush down to pick up my mower, only to walk in to an empty store, (every time I called they said they were busy with customers) every time I went there nobody was ever there. If I didn't want that particular mower as bad as I did I would have gone some place else. Guess will see how there service after the sale turns out.

Went to Lowe's for an Ariens snow blower. Could not get anyone to help me or the other person who had been waiting for 20 minutes for help. We both left and I went to Trux, had two knowlegeable and friendly people help me. They also service the product unlike Lowe's. Trux happily got my $1600+ purchase. Don't waste your time at the box.
Top notch service. Professional install. After sale service is impeccable. They brought my truck in after close and repaired it so I could work through the night and make money. Awesome!
Had a brand new plow installed on my truck at Trux Outfitter. Picked up and paid in full at the end of the day. On the way home the low beams went out on the brand new plow. I called first thing the next morning and was told they were to busy and could not look at it for a week and a half, completely unacceptable!
After some research I called Boondocker equipment in Syracuse and was told they were booked a month out but to bring it up and they would check all wiring and see what they could do for me. They had it fixed in less than 45 minutes.
Trux has lost a repeat customer who has spent over thousands there over the last few years due to horrible customer service. I'll never use their service again.
I was looking for a wiring harness to get my truck equipped for towing a fifth wheel camper. The guy I spoke to seemed to want to sell way more than I needed. I'd done the research and knew what was needed. There's lots of people that are more than happy to spend as much as the truck is worth, but not me. I ordered the part I need from Amazon and it works exactly how I want.
