Extremely rude. They take forever to give you the car back. A whole 4 hours waiting. Make you take a multiple trips to your car instead of having you take one trip if they need you to get anything from it. Their system was down multiple times today and it took literally 30 minutes to come back up. Just a horrible experience.
We can complain all we want about their service or lack thereof. They're rude and unprofessional and just no care for people. They're here to get the money double dip and take a cut. The nypd and city is corrupt are we really surprised by this. The fact is they don't care and they enjoy making things difficult!
The security guard at the front gate is just horrible he doesn’t know how to communicate or even speak with people very rude person.. Other than that I was in and out in about ten minutes
Make sure before you go here and they waste your time. You have a list of the documents you need and also, whether they say print them or not I advise printing documents, because there is a lot hypocrisy going on. One person tells you something over the phone and then when you arrive after waiting in line they tell you something g else. Also there is no written list of documentation or directions on how the process of the tow pound works listed either. There's nothing online or posted at the location. So you are stuck only taking the word of the representative you speak to, which is ridiculous. Also when you speak to a rep or deal with any of the customer service people whether inperson or over the phone remember to get their name and rep number, record date and time you speak to them. This way you have proof of what you were told either over the phone or In person. Also only 1 rep had a name tag on out of 3 the others did not have a tag on, so it is imperative you ask. Also you can't park in facility so if someone brings you to pick up your vehicle, remember you will have to walk in a bit of a distance through water and gigantic muddy puddles. The best part of here is security. They were the best part of the experience they were professional kind and direct. You can trust what they say to be true, in terms of how they direct the process of you receiving and number, and how they treat you with respect and dignity. Key here is preparation, documentation print outs , and knowing rep you speak with over the phone or in person, write down date and time and information they give you. This will save you a lot of time and headaches.
First time my car was towed , advice to all dont pay your tickets online and then come to the location. Just pay it at the location because it takes 3-5 days for it to clear in their system. I made that mistake and had to pay twice. But jt was my fault the ladies that work here are great and kind and if you dont come in with an attitude they will treat you like gold. Come in call and take care of business.
This is a government agency that take the car away from the workings people, and give it back if you pay they extortion! Taking people property is a crime!

absolutely horrible service, all the ladies here have a terrible attitude. my car was towed and rather than giving me information, I was being accused and lectured about why the car was towed. I called an hour before the place closed and she was in a rush to get me off the phone and said she’s about to leave so can’t go check to confirm the car is there. she started yelling and whining. this is the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. who runs this place?
The lady on the phone on 5/27/22 at 630pm was a word that I don’t like to use for ladies. Telling me they are busy, meanwhile I couldn’t work for a day since my car was towed. I will be filing a lawsuit. Civil court because there was no reason to tow me vehicle!
These people look like they hate their job. The process is so unorganized. All the money they collect from towing fees, violations, and our taxes couldn’t get them a building? Public service my @$$.
Worst experience ever got towed while im doing delivery for Grubhub. Had to cancel the two customers order due to my car being towed. Paid 50 dollars for my uber drive to the place after confirming the location with the 311 operator. On top of that had to pay 185 to get back my car, plus i had the insurance bill and lease to pay the same week. This city is a scam no regards to any individual's financial situation. Atleast could have made the price lower as i told them i didnt see the sign and it was mistake and this is my first time. A cop told me to go to the finance center and plee my case that im a delivery driver working in the pandemic. Went there and this lady basically saying theres nothing she can do and delivery people should have special permits to allow them to stay at a spot for 5 mins. She put guilty on my ticket had to pay 115 on top of the 185 which basically comes out to 300 out of my pay for the week. Thank god i had the money to pay my bills or my insurance would have gotten lapse. Seriously something has to give for us delivery drivers. There should be more lenincy with us since at times theres no space.
If I could give a tip of a star I would this place has the absolute worse customer service from the lady that answered the phone to the people that assist you to get your vehicle. I don’t understand how people stay in jobs they hate that much. The process is unorganized and they don’t really explain much to you when you get there.
Maybe if y’all at the city did something other pushing giant piles of snows into parking spaces there wouldn’t be a need to tow cars. But whatever NYpD and sanitation team together to make money

After having her car towed for being illegally parked, although my daughter parked in a legal space, I went on the internet to see the Saturday hours. The home page site stated the Saturday hours were from 8am to 4PM. We arrived by Uber, after paying 14 dollars, at 3:05 PM and was told that the place closed at 3 PM. There were still people going in and out and we begged the security to let us in because my daughter is from Maryland and had to return back tomorrow to go to work on Monday. They refused to let us in. So now, she is stuck here, we must wait until Monday and she wasted 30 dollars in cab fare, as we had to get an Uber back home. This place is disgusting and the workers could have been more reasonable and let her get her car out. The information on the web site is wrong and should be changed.
We went to pick up our car these ladies were taking their sweet little time until it got closer to the time for them to go home that's when they started to move fast. Then they started talking and giggling about the Temp license plate we have which was very unprofessional we did not come for that if you cannot be professional you should not be behind a desk period. you should also get younger people working behind the desk they move way too slow
All the money that the city makes and this place is the most disgusting that I know it, doesn't even have a chair to wait, the staff is not trained,
where they serve customers is in a container.

This a terrible place, both my Aunt and Uncle had there cars towed by this place. No one ever has the correct information and are not helpful at all. NYC police, NYC towing company are no good. There is no need to give a ticket and tow it as well. Why does the city have to make money on the backs of hard working people. But Also both of my Aunt and Uncle are both on social security and there is no break for them. I can not stand how NYC takes advantage of everyone here. Yes there are bad people who deserve this kind of bad treatment but not everyone and or our elders.
The lady caught an attitude with ME because they illegally towed my car....then when I started catching the same attitude they kept being unprofessional and ignoring my calls...are you kidding...what are they 10 years old. You need to hire people with customer service skills... Especially when they’re dealing with people that have their car TOWED....
Fast and easy, had to wait maybe 5min tops. Only thing I would say sucks is the waiting area is very small and not enough ac. But overall my experience here was not bad.
If I could give a 0 I would. There needs to be a place where you submit a complaint about these workers for the supervisor to see. Obviously if your car is towed you still have responsibilities to take care of , I went to work and because they are open late I went towards closing time. First thing E. Comartie Meleschi says is you got to be kidding me!!!!! Across the room from her desk. Still with a smile I said I made it with 7 mins left, sorry. She keeps yelling how there’s 2 mins left this is ridiculous. I told her your open to the public until 10. She keeps yelling and because I got upset and gave her her own medicine back she tells me to shut up and that I’m going to have to come back tomorrow. Meanwhile she starts helping people who came in after me , taunting me the whole time like “that’s why ima take these people that came after you”. I said that’s perfectly fine , but at the end of the day your still going to do your job and process my payment and I’m getting my car. I didn’t pick your job for you , you did. Who does she think she is trying to refuse service. Quit your job if you don’t want to work. Someone else will gladly do your job and hopefully with a better attitude. People are already having a rough day to have to go there and deal with that none sense is unprofessional and uncalled for.
It's a tow pound, If you coming here obviously it's not for a good reason.

i have to say, kill people with kindness , i was super nice to the lady in there they had no other choice but to be nice back. buti have to tell you , this people that work here dont want to really work , the always mad angry. like if the got force to worked there , you apply for this job , well do it right. i just wish people in facilities like this be more helpful and understandable. most people that live in the bronx don't dont make a lot of money, please lower down you fees. i didnt have to pay any because i fought my ticket and i won!! but please be nice to this people they just want to get there car back , and this how some people get to work and bring their kids to school.
My car was towed and that was bad enough, but my experience dealing with this company was horrific. I was given no valid reason why my car was towed, yet other cars parked in the same area for a longer period had been left untouched. The receptionist was very rude and spiteful, when I verbally protested the reason for the tow--she placed me on hold indefinitely (over 15 minutes) before they hung up on me. When I called back she insisted that "she picked up and said hello, but I didn't respond". God help you if your vehicle is ever towed by this company!!
Getting my car towed was horrible, but the people that work there are great! They got me out of there quickly. It could have been a lot more frustrating than it was.
Having your car towed sucks, but in my case it was completely my fault for misreading the sign. While it would certainly be preferable to not be here in the first place, the folks here were very nice and helped me get back on the road a quickly as possible.
Really bad service! No explanation for two! The city makes money thru tickets and tolls ...
To make make this city a tourist attraction... but nothing for those who live here...!
