0 STARS!!!! Don’t even bother waiting your time with these people. The guy told me he will have a guy meet us in 30 mins. And an hr later, I contacted to see what was the eta, no response. So I waited a little bit more. 30 mins later I contacted again and no response. I waited another 30 mins and had someone else call and they picked up and when realizing it was me, they HUNG UP ON US! That is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. If you can’t do a job, you say that. Don’t waist people’s time. AGAIN 0 STARS

Really came through at the dead of night in a pinch when other services had zero interest when given the location.
The driver asked for a text for specfics, and he arrived within the estimated time. Though the car didn't need towing in the end, him bringing the truck assisted in the recovery of the jack and replacing the wheel.
Cost for the trouble was reasonable ($100) but make sure you have cash on hand.
A solid group who does as advertised and are very much regular people when talking to them.
TERRIBLE experience with a deceptive company.
10:15PM - Request a tow-away of a ticketed car blocking my driveway. They confirmed they could do it, was told an hour wait.
11:30PM - I called again to follow-up, they said another hour, and someone was FOR SURE coming by 12:30AM.
12:40AM - STILL NOBODY. Called again and was told someone was definitely coming by 1:45AM and to stay put.
7AM - nobody ever came. Deceptive, wish they told me they couldn’t do it and I would’ve just put my car in a garage. ended up sitting in my car for hours waiting. The most irresponsible company I’ve ever come across.

I knew nothing about having a car blocking my driveway towed.
I called First Star and was provided with a list of what I needed. I gathered and provide the info and in a matter of minutes got a response back. I was kept in the loop throughout -they provide and update on the tow trucks arrival.
Fist Star towing, inc was fast, easy, and patient. I will definitely use their service again.

This place does not exist .. they will tow your car and give you an expensive price and damage it and tell you it was like this. I suggest anyone who calls here to google the address as well look at the truck that shows up doesn’t have the matching information from this business . STAY AWAY !!
I had a horrible experience and the worker named Julien was ok with me speaking on the phone but turned out to be extremely unprofessional. I called for a car tow. He took my address and number and said a driver was going to show up.
I asked for a text or call with an ETA. I did not receive any communication. After waiting one hour, I had to call back several times to get through to him again. He told me I would get a call back right away after checking with the driver on his ETA. There was no call back. I called back after another 45 minutes because he never called and no one picked up.
A driver never came and Julien never called. No business should commit to providing a service and then go completely dark. Why not just tell the customer no one is available? Why would you just leave someone hanging like that with zero update? Extremely awful experience.
Junior was so unprofessional, wanted to drive my truck to another destination during towing , changed his price at last minute and after that he has refused to send me my receipt to claim back money from insurance , I call and text him everyday for over a month just to issue me a receipt but he claim busy and busy , I regret using him

This company i DO NOT RECOMMEND to anyone !!!! I simply called to scheduled a lockout service, guy said he will call me back and even took all the information about the truck. After telling me 15 minutes ETA, 1 hr later nobody ever showed up to location. POOR, POOR, POOR SERVICE DO NOT USE ...
I know the company doesn't give a don't about these reviews but this for people like me so we are not reaped off in times of need.. Not helpful and overpriced, I would not recommend. The truck driver I had was very disrespectful and had an attitude with for no reason. He was upset for coming on a Sunday & on a rainy day, his reason for overcharging. No one forced you to come or pick up your damn phone.
These guys are professional and keep their times to get you pretty accurate. Even when you are in a bad situation, they will keep you upbeat. Good people here! When in NYC, these are my go to
I've been having a problem with my driveway being blocked all the time. I work at night so when I come home at 5 am and my driveway is blocked, I catch a tantrum, NYPD tickets the vehicle but I can't find someone to come and tow it away. Guess what people, not anymore. The neighborhood knows me, these days as the bad man that tows people's cars away. I haven't been blocked for about 3 weeks now. Thanks to First Star Towing, good job ladies and gentlemen.
In my time of frustration with "Blocked Driveway" for more than 12hrs ,this towing company was a God sent. From the time I spoke with First Star dispatcher ,it was so fast it's active response . This will be my towing company from now on.
3.5 hour response time for a pickup quoted at 30 mins. In the interim, no updates, just a stream of bs in response to my calls. 'He's waiting In front of your building' (? clearly not), 'At the exit, 10 mins away' (an hour and a half ago), 'around the corner' (20 mins ago), 'will ask my boss about a discount for the wait' (never did). I should have just quit and called someone else after the first hour.
I have a Maserati and I had a flat tire so I called the Maserati 1 800 line they sent me first Star Towing. One of the drivers had a cast on their leg the other assistant had alien contacts eyes and was extremely inexperienced. They actually had me come out of the car and help them remove the tire because it was frozen they needed me to kick the tire and in this hole outrageous ordeal they lost by a lock set for removing the tires it's been over a month-and-a-half and they do not order me a new lock set complaining that it was too expensive that I should go online and get a cheaper apparently they want the customer to do the work for them. I've been driving around with no lockset in fear of getting a flat tire with no way to remove the tires for my car. Extremely poor customer service and for the last five attempts to contact them they never returned my call or attempt to replace the lockset. Will see today when I bring them to small claims court and now it's going to cost them more money because Maserati dealership is removing the lockset from the car.
Excellent availability and pricing. We had called other well known towning businesses in the Bronx and none had tow trucks available, others charged a lot. First Star had a driver sent to us immediately and the price was very good. The driver was a cool and friendly guy and the fast speed at which he works at was very noteworthy.
Yo these guys are officially the people to use i must say from picking me up from pier 76 to fixing my oil pan. Kind of expensive but it's all worth it they stand by their work and I stand by them as well

If there was 10 stars Ill add those 10 stars in a heart beat this towing company is the best i ever encounter they got here quick and they didn't charge a crazy amount of money like other towing company so give them a call if your car breaks down and the driver was cool to talk to

Absolutely terrible, I call them at 3am and ask them to tow a vehicle blocking the driveway to the building I work in. 5am hits and I call them again, guy picks up sounds like he's half asleep. I ask where's the tow truck people need to move their vehicles guy mumbles Yeah Yeah he's in route, gave him benefit of the doubt. It's 6am I call back, guy picks up immediately and says sorry my guy can't do it he rear-ended a guy so I'm sending the next truck in 15 min, mind you they didn't have the common courtesy to give me a call and explain the situation my best bet is they completely forgot about me and when I called they probably had JUST remembered, I ask him how long will this take he says don't worry I'm sending the guy. Now if the owner of this business is reading this really bad service was distributed by the man working on Christmas day 2015 at around 3am (he sounded half asleep) figure out who it was I spoke to and please get to the bottom of this. I don't know where all these positive reviews are coming from but I'm getting the suspicion they're fake reviews... Either that or I'm the exception. Oh by the way it is currently 6:20 still no truck oh joy, that was sarcasm by the way.
Edit: the positive reviews are fake, most of the profiles reviewing only have one review and it's for this company. The ones that have other reviews are all 5 stars for the most random assortment of business from random places in the country
