Around 10 AM, my small vehicle was towed less than 8 miles, and I was told it would cost $400. When I questioned the price, the man got upset and told me to come back tomorrow. The next day, they added a $100 storage fee and a $350 emergency dispatch fee, even though my car was safely off the road and no cleanup was needed. The total came to $622.79.
I’ve seen reviews where they pulled a car from a ditch, 20 miles away, for about $648. My situation was just a simple tow, only 8 miles, just a hook, nothing else. This shows how they treat people differently and use pricing to take advantage of some, especially those they see as vulnerable.
What’s worse is that their lot doesn’t even qualify as proper storage — no gate, no wires, anyone’s car could be stolen, yet they charge storage fees as if it’s secure. When I questioned them, they made excuses saying it’s not them who sets the price, but the county.
His wife even chased me with her phone like a “Karen,” trying to intimidate me when all I did was calmly say I’d take this to the state and whoever gave them the contract to review if this pricing is right.
It’s not about me paying — I paid it — but what truly upsets me is how they can do this to others. I worry about those who can barely afford it, who may not have a voice, and how these people are basically robbing others like pirates. It’s heartbreaking to see people who need their vehicles being taken advantage of like this.
I hope the county truly reviews this, because this is not just about one person — it’s about the others who may not have the means to fight this.
This towing company towed my small vehicle less than 8 miles and charged a total of $622, which included a $100 daily storage fee even though I came back the next day to pick it up. When I asked for an explanation, the owner and his wife gave inconsistent answers and refused to show how they calculated the price.
It’s unacceptable that they have a contract with Cattaraugus County while overcharging citizens and treating people unfairly based on background. I’m filing a complaint with the New York Attorney General and Department of State for investigation.
A giant thank you to Jason and Teresa for the great service getting a vehicle stuck way off the road. Jason knew exactly what to do to pull me out very professional and a reasonable price would highly recommend their services.
We was on family vacation & low on funds and I contacted Enchanted Mountain Recovery and they came to our rescue. Reasonable price & very friendly. We live in Ohio & they brought us all the way home. I have an autistic son and he made the travel home so much better for him. 10/10 recommend them. Teresa & Jason was absolutely wonderful. Definitely a 5 star company!
Do not trust this company for many reasons I’ll list a few one they are very dishonest claims your vehicles are locked behind a fence Which in the end is learn to be untrue they’re sitting out in the open on their home property they say they’re unable to meet you as they’re on vacation I’m assuming so they can rack up more storage fees the more days that it sits there when you drive by their home to find out they are home and outside and you get a picture of your vehicle that’s not behind any fence when you call them out they block you be careful Have a different tow company come when the police department ask you who you would like to tow your vehicle avoid Teresa by all costs she’s the one who seems to be pretty dishonest there.
AMAZING service by the team at Enchanted Mountain Recovery! We ran into some trouble with our truck about 3.5 hours from home coming back from a camping trip. We called multiple companies in the area and Enchanted Mountain Recovery had the best customer service and price! They drove us the whole way home on a SUNDAY and were so personable and easy to work with. We couldn’t have asked for better people to help us during an extremely stressful time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can't say enough about this company! I'm fro Rochester new York and I own land in cuba New York and this company responded almost immediately..I highly highly recommend them a %150 he was very nice we cracked a couple of jokes and did an amazing job,I'm keep their contacts in my phone.
I wouldn't hesitate to call them again because owning land on the southern tier means you need a great tow company which I have mine now.🙂
I have used Enchanted Mountain on multiple occasions to move equipment. Always fair, honest, well equipped with good equipment, and very careful with whatever they are hauling. Jason is very friendly and professional acting. Obviously well trained and highly experienced.
Got pulled out of the ditch by this company everything was very professional but the price was a little bit excessive $505 I have lived in Western New York my whole life and had to deal with this issue before it was half the price just saying
Got my 27ft camper and Ram HD 2500 stuck in the mud about 250ft. off the blacktop. They were able to recover both with minimal damage to the landowners property, on a Sunday, in the rain. I highly recommend this company!!!!
Do not recommend. Was arranging to have car picked up in the morning, they asked me if I wanted them to give me a call in the morning to confirm, I said they didn't have to. Next morning they cancelled the service through a text and claimed they called me twice. They did not. (My phone was on in a good service zone by my side). Find a more professional company or at least one with staff that have basic comprehension skills.
Tremendous guys and service. I slid my car over a steep hill. They showed up when they promised and had my car back on the road with no problems incredibly fast.
I do not recommend using their services. They charged us $648 to winch out a ford transit cargo van stuck in mud. After winching the van out, they made the driver sit in the tow truck for almost 2 hours while taking an extremely long time to process the payment. We had to get freight delivered and they caused us to miss the time frame of delivery, which would not have been missed if they operated like it is 2023 and processed payment in 2 minutes and let the driver go on after getting winched out. Do not call them unless you are prepared to be totally ripped off and for your time to be wasted. I’ve had tow trucks winch cargo vans out for less than half the price in the middle of nowhere North Dakota. I have receipts, live tracking on the vehicle, and emails to prove all this.
Quick to arrive and easy to do business with! And even more importantly, Jason and Teresa treat you like family. I was lucky to connect with them, and they truly turned a stressful situation into a memorable experience. Thank you!
Let's be honest.. the east coast will make you or break you. Like my truck that was towing a trailer and my motorcycle.
These folks were the 3rd to last people I wanted to speak with on my long drive.
This business was unexpectedly pleasant to handle this situation for me and my son.
Every step I was confident this gentleman had a high level of awareness. He gave me a second opinion diag 'quick and terrifically aided THE most efficient plan to get me back on the road in this foreign area of these great States. (Less than 17 hours! World record.)

This company was the only one who could get my car out of a ditch. They were very kind, did a great job, very personable. They called to check on me later to make sure I made it home ok. I would definitely recommend them.

They we're first called by my insurance to change my flat tire but I asked him instead if you could just take me home and he was more than willing to he called me quickly after he talked to my insurance and he arrived on the scene quickly after I spoke with him very nice and polite gentleman I recommend them out of all the towing companies around the area they are an excellent company

These were the nicest, most welcoming and personable people I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. After my car was wrecked on the highway their response time was incredible, they walked me through the processes I would need to go through to get myself back to my life step by step. They took care of me like I was family. I cannot recommend their services enough.
