Not advance Auto and the do not parts or items available for pick up like website states waste of time also they are rude just because I told them what the website says
We always try to support local businesses. Joe and Clyde are very knowledgeable and go the extra mile to get whatever I need. I call them first before any other parts store.
If only they had a minus 1? Poor service rude as heck they sold me a electrical part. And said I will get a refund. After waiting 3 day's they accused me of the wrong part in the box. Even though I told them they are the ones who opened the box look at the part and handed it to me. Now the he saying they didn't sell me the part. I don't need that part that it was something else and I didn't need anything it was fixed. Then when I took that part back. The so called he said the part wasn't there's. I was so upset that box was only handle by joe no one else. I can't believe it. Poor service
and rude as heck. Dont' buy anything from them ever Goto O'Reilly's better. Way better service and don't lie to the customer like car quest does.
Great place to buy quality auto parts. The parts man are amazing & very helpful! We highly recommend Carquest. It’s family owned & operated for 47 years.
Terrible experience here trying to get brake rotors machined. First time we took them in they said they were way beyond minimum specification which they said was 27mm. I looked on the rotor and it was stamped 22mm, checked the manufacturer specs which also said 22mm. So i took them back in and showed them where it was stamped on the rotor. So they agreed to do the machining. Came to pick them up a few hours later and he brought them up and said he went as far as he could on the machine but they didn't clean up all the way. So i brought them back to the shop and measured them and they were at 23.7mm which is well above the minimum thickness. Called them back and he just was very rude and long story short he wouldnt take any more material off. We had to take them to Craig tire in Belen and they got them finished up at 23.3mm. Still well within the service limit. If you need brake rotors machined, consider taking them to Craig tire or any where but here.
One morning I stopped by with a slight problem.... I had just left MVD and had gotten a new license plate and registration tag to go on it. Well my problem was that the old one was rusted on the car or should I say the license plate frame and I tried everything to get it off but no such luck. I pulled up just as "Brian" I hope I'm getting his name right, was just pulling in to work that morning. He got out of his vehicle and immediately asked me if I needed assistance. I told him about my situation with my plate and the fact that I had just been to court to fix a ticket for no tags and offered to help me right away. He hadn't even had a chance to open the store up yet. I also had a couple of other small issues with my car that he took upon himself to tend to. I was very grateful for the help that morning he probably saved me from getting pulled over again and possibly another ticket?
So thank you CARQUEST AUTOMOTIVE for hiring such great dedicated individuals his "Brian" customer service was outstanding that morning and I'm sure he's that way with everyone who comes in his place of business! 😁
Made purchase online total online purchase was $19.39 when I got to store for pickup Joe cancelled all my online orders and errands up refusing to honor online prices new Total $51.73 this is what we call in the motor world as Half Arsed and Chicken Chit!!! He is screwing his own community and customers and dis regarding his franchise contract to sell parts at online prices. I do not recommend this place at all!!!
Made online order owner of Buisiness refused to honor prices cancelling the online order amount of $21.38 and re-rang up refusing to allow use of discounts new total came to $51.73 for the same items ordered online for $21.38 Joe is very dishonest taking advantage of customers in the community. Would not recommend this place to anyone Advance needs to build an actual store in Los Lunas and cancel this establishments Franchise if Joe and Owners are not going to honor the terms of the agreement with Advance Auto Parts.
Single mom here. Had some work done to my car. COULDNT get the pigtail to match the alternater. Everyone said both correct , yet still didn't match the connection. Ask the man a few questions ..he acted like i was bothering him and was kinda rude not helpful at all. Disappointed in service. Ill go somewhere else ..next time
Incredibly disappointed with service. Did online order for 30 minute pick up and used my discounts and speed perks. When I went for pick up I was told by store owner he was not going to give me discount because he was independently owned. I do A LOT of auto part purchases and his location has permanently lost my business. His location needs to be removed from Advance Auto/CARQUEST website if he can't honor online sales.
These guys have had most everything I've needed, and what they didn't have they found. Example, my '62 Cadillac needs new strut rod bushings. They found them in California, took awhile to get here, but they finally arrived.
