Had to bring in my Honda Crosstour for new front tires. I was able to schedule an appointment only a week out and they were so professional, even despite a geriatric being passive aggressive to all of the employees. The young woman with the black hair was awesome, especially as well as the young man who actually did the work.

After an oil change the check engine light came on. The mechanic took it in again and said the air box was loose. Yesterday the light came on again. I checked the air box that holds the air filter. The screws are stripped. I had to use wire to keep it closed. Now i have to pay someone to fix it. I also noticed the main airhose clamp was also loose. What a poor job. No more. Going to Performance Automotive in Moriarty.

DO NOT buy tires from Walmart the warranty is completely useless. I used less than 30,000 miles of a 60,000 mile warranty. They prorated the purchase of a new tire and it only saved me $40. I still had to pay about 80% of the cost of the actual tire plus a $10 new warranty fee. You’re better off going to discount tire their tire certificate is all you have to pay for when buy replacing a warrant tire.

Made and appointment for 2:00 PM to patch a tire, walked out at 3:20 with nothing done.

I've gotten my oil changed here multiple times and haven't had an issue. But yesterday sun sept 7 I went to repair a flat tire on my car. They said it would be a few hours which made sense and I was okay with because it was a Sunday. I proceeded to wait 6 1/2 HOURS. I waited 6 hours walking around walmart before I got a call that their employees had left and they could not get my car done. Then started to talk to another man while I waited for them to just give me my keys back. They gave multiple people their keys back and didn't tell me until 6:45 just before they close that they can't do my car. Then they disappeared. I couldn't take my girlfriend to work yesterday because my car was not going to make it into albuquerque. Now I have to find somewhere else to get it done around here, while driving on a tire that keeps going flat.

Very poor customer service. Called as soon as they opened to make sure they had tires in stock and could be mounted today. I was told yes and that it would be about a two hour wait. 4 hours later and still waiting. If you want an update, you have to ask cause they stand there on their cell phone. This service center is a complete joke.

Prices at Walmart Automotive Center are pretty good, and the staff is usually friendly and helpful. The biggest downside is the wait—no matter if you have an appointment or not, it always seems to take a long time to get service completed. If you’ve got plenty of time to spare, it’s worth it for the savings, but definitely go in expecting a longer wait than you might hope for.

Horrible customer service, 4 hours to fix a tire leak. Department is a joke

4 hours waiting to just get my tires rotated and balanced. I was the third person in line after they opened. Glad I'm moving and won't ever have to deal with this again.

Had a tire patched for a tiny hole: this was several months ago. Wasn’t the best service but I let it go. Until I recently had that hole need to be fixed again and I took it to Discount Tires as that’s what I was near. They informed me whoever initially fixed the hole on that same tire had put my tire back on backwards! that’s just the beginning of issues I have encountered with the auto place in Edgewood Walmart. We have stopped shopping completely at this Walmart ..,awful and a smart ass employee made a comment on all the raw dogfood we buy… done with this Walmart! I’ll pay higher prices for better service and quality of employees!

Multiple times i took my tires in for warrantee repair work i was told no leaks were found. I then had flats in the tires on the way home. Do not waist your time here. Even after I took the tech out to see the tires they did not look at the one in the back of tje truck that they plugged and caused a separation in the plys amd a large bulge.

If I could give zero stars I would. Husband showed up at 7:30 to get a tire rotation. Sat there for three hours and went to ask how his truck was doing 3 times. Every time it was they were working on it. Finally got manager and it was sitting there with one tire off for about two hours. Never even got them rotated

Are you kidding? Set an appointment for an oil change. Got there an hour earlier, they couldn’t check me in earlier . Okay. Checked in 15 minutes early. Okay. Came back an hour after that. Still had not done it and had a car ahead of mine. NO OKAY! An oil change should only take 20 minutes, tops. Plus top off fluids and tire pressure. Either inexperienced or incompetent, I think the later. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Went in today at about 10:45 am to get 4 new tires put on our truck. There were only 3 people ahead of us. We saw several people come & go with small auto jobs, like oil changes, battery replacements etc. By 12 pm we asked them when would we be next. They kept telling us that only ONE person was working in the back, there was a car getting 4 tires, he had done 2, but we would be next. We saw 5-6 workers standing around talking, going to lunch, etc. Finally by 3 pm, hungry, sore backs from the bad chairs, T.V wasn't working.....My husband told me, we're leaving, he went up to the counter & told the guy that if they weren't going to get our truck in, in the next 10 minutes, we wanted our key back, cancel the order, we're leaving. The guy said he had a spare tire to repair & a couple of people ahead of us. I asked him why he had told us at noon that we were next, he said "I didn't but we only have 1 person working in the back" we left. During the 4+ hours we waited, we saw many people just get up & leave after an hour of waiting. We would have also, but they kept telling us we were next.

I dropped my truck off and continued to shop while the technician installed four new tires. I was called back to the auto center by phone because the technician claimed that the tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) was missing a sensor on the rear, driver-side tire of my truck. When I arrived at the auto center, the technician came out into the waiting area and exclaimed, "You're missing a sensor. WHERE IS IT?!" I explained that all of the tires were original when I bought my truck brand new. All of my tires had sensors when I arrived at Walmart. The technician offered to replace the missing sensor for $33.00!! This kind of conduct is unseemly, disgusting, and illegal. One of my NEWLY installed tires bought at Walmart is now missing a new TPMS sensor (installed with all new tires, btw). I refused to buy a new one and signed the release. Total cost: $496.00.

Had a blowout on I-40 in the family mini van on a Sunday, limped on the donut to this Walmart location. Called ahead and Chef the clerk checked inventory for us. Set the tire aside and the team worked us in as soon as we got there. We did some quick shopping and the team had the new tire mounted and the spare remounted under the car (the spare is under the middle of the vehicle it’s a pain to get to) We were in and out in 45mins and back to our road trip. Saved our family vacation!

Friendly, quick and good customer service. Had exactly what I needed. Update 2025: four years ago this was establishment was amazing. Today I went to get a flat repair and it took 4 + hours to complete this. Yes they had jobs ahead of me but not 4 hours later. I have been going here for years, I will not go back for auto related items ever again.

Excellent customer service. I have much needed warranties on all 4 tires and have had no problems with flat fixes and replacements.

They don't answer the phone, wait times are abysmal regardless of how busy they are, and something tells me not a single one of them actually know what they're doing. They're more focused on selling you something and kicking you out than actually providing even basic service, much less actually good service.

It is unfortunate that there is no way to give a zero star review for this joke of a service center. Went in for an oil change on my Corvette. I have brought my car to this particular Wal-Mart for an oil change before. After standing in line for about 10 minutes, I finally made it up to the service center counter. Of course, the wonderful tech at the counter "cannot" check in my car because someone else is in charge of the tablet. So, I waited an additional 10 minutes before someone else could help me. Of course, right before that person arrives, the tech leaves the counter and gets a different tablet to help the next person in line. I let that go and just realized that particular tech is lazy and will only help someone if they absolutely have to. I checked the car in and am told that there are 4 cars ahead of me. No problem, I have a few things to pick up in the store. After shopping for about 45 minutes, I got a call from Wal-Mart on my phone. They informed me that they are unable to do the oil change on my car because they do not have the correct tool in order to lift my car. I found that a bit difficult to understand because I have had my car's oil changed at this specific Wal-Mart before. They then said that I have NEVER had the oil changed in my Vette at that specific store. So, my question is, did they charge me for an oil change that was never actually done and could not be done because of a lack of a specific tool? How does a national chain not have the appropriate tool to work on a mass-produced American car? Why would they feel the need to lie to me saying that I have never brought my car in to have it serviced at this store? Last but not least, why are the staff at this store so disorganized and not just in the auto service department? The entire store is like someone with a severe case of ADHD tried to organize it. In short, stay away from this particular Wal-Mart Service Center. You may not get the service that you just paid a ton of money for.

Never go here. First of all they didn’t do the service I asked for. I asked for them to replace the air filters and when I got my receipt they had not only not replaced the filters but marked them down as “declined” even though I specifically asked them to be replaced. Second, they somehow killed my battery. My car started up just fine so I took it down the street to the Post Office but after running in to buy stamps my car will no longer start. I’m actually waiting for a tow truck to give me a jump as I speak. No idea how they managed to drain my battery so bad my car won’t start anymore but considering this is the first time I’ve had this issue I’m not happy in the slightest. I’d give them zero stars if I could. I should have just taken my car to my usual place but I had an open afternoon and didn’t want to drive all the way to Albuquerque.

Worst service ever these guys do not know how to take pride in their work. The one they do a really mediocre job and they're not real mechanics nor technicians. Any other place can you get cars in and out quicker this will always take at least 2 hours and it's only because they're lazy. I've been to the store multiple times and had to wave my hand through the window to get anybody to come to the counter. I had relatives who work there who also had to go back there to grab them and they told me specifically that they just waste time in the back where all the cars are and not deal with customers. They absolutely never answer their phone, and the poor Walmart employee had to try to send me through three times and they still didn't answer. They are a disgrace and should never be hired in real auto shops. Unfortunately in a small town they're the only ones open 7 days a week but I have switched my business to other shops. I cringe every time I need to walk in there on an emergency and I make sure that they are absolutely my last resort unfortunately it's a

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change. After waiting one hour I received a text that my vehicle was ready. When I went to pick it up they advised they did not have the filter for my vehicle. I was advised by the technician that if I brought in my own filter they would change the oil. I purchased a filter at the nearby Autozone and returned to Walmart and was advised by the manager Chris that they could not change my oil because my newer vehicle was not in their books. When I asked Chris about the mistakes, he became hostile and asked me to leave the store. I am now in the process of reporting the incident to the store manager Vera and market manager Todd. Several of the Walmart staff mentioned that Chris has a history of being combative and unfriendly to customers.

All the workers seem to use me as there main focuse and center of attention as I walk in and through the store, they watch very very close as if I am some horrible thief or something but I have never ever had any issues or any history of being caught for theft at that Walmart or any store in fact. When I check out the ladies always have JUST my screen pulled up on there phones as they carefully watch my every purchase and once again, I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS OR HISTORY in the past of me “not scanning an item” or “stealing” an item. I strongly dislike the staff and the way that Walmart is run, do not recommend if you get treated the same way I do.

first and only visit about a month ago when tire pressure light had come on. terrible service! cant be trusted. i was in no hurry and left my car with them for 6 hrs. so they could take their time. i returned to pick it up, there was no charge because they “didnt find anything wrong” and the guy went into great detail how they find a tire leak. they hadnt even checked! i took it to another shop and there was a leak at the rim.

NOTE: This review is based on an experience and corporate policy, not a employee(s). I went in to Walmart for an ordinary oil change. Bays 1 & 2 were closed, and Bay 3 was open, so I parked in front of it. I then went inside and was told it was a minimum 3-hour wait for AN OIL CHANGE. When I asked if I could make an appointment the young man behind the counter told me corporate policy does not allow appointments for oil changes (why not?). So I left, went out to my car and saw 2 vehicles on lifts in the garage with their tires off and several employees milling around - one of whom came over and closed the bay door in front of my car (this sent a definite message). I left, carefully navigating around the numerous signs touting their oil change options. There was nothing on the sign mentioning a minimum 3 hour wait. Walmart: If you're going to make it impossible/undesirable for customers to utilize a service that you advertise why not just take it off your list of services? Who wants to wait around twiddling their thumbs while you perform a job what should take less than 30 minutes? The fact that there were no cars in the oil change bays tells me all of their other employees were working on higher-priced jobs. You can price it as low as you want - if your corporate policy doesn't allow for you to do it in a timely fashion I don't save money nor do I live better cooling my heels in your Auto Department lounge.

I called to find out if I needed to schedule. After 30 rings, there was still no answer. I called the .aim number. The operator transferred the call. 10 minutes later I still have not gotten an answer. I call the main number again and ask the operator to send someone over and tell them to answer. Finally, I get someone on the phone. Then I was told the online quantity on hand was less than what showed online. It took me 1/2:hour just to fond out they could not help me. I went to Discount Tire, spent only a few dollars more and was very happy with my new tires 4 hours later. I know where not to go for auto care.

Got a nail in our tire while on a road trip and all of the tire places were closed. Lucked out and found this auto center and called ahead and let them know we would get there right before closing and they said to come on in, no problem. They got us all patched up and back on the road in no time. The service was great and everyone was very friendly despite having to stay a bit late to finish up. Really appreciated their help!!!

Found a decent set of tires for a fair price. The associate told me there were two customers ahead of me and it would take about an hour and a half to get my car done, but they had it ready in 49 minutes and all was as it should be. I'm a happy camper niw

Can't ever get in for a oil change. It's always 1-1/2 hour wait no mater how many cars are in the parking lot. Last time I took 2 tires in to get them mounted and balanced....3 hour wait. Having run a automotive shop this shows how little they want to work. Over all the Edgewood Walmart is not bad. Automotive center is a different story. No stars if that was possible.
