At first company owner was very responsive and employees were great. Owner shared he had lots of attrition over the last several months which isn’t unique and I feel for him. Talked in Oct about spring work and it never happened until I called and had to start all over. Spring crew broke several sprinkler heads in March which now three companies later I learn they also broke the lines beneath the heads which is why I’ve had a non operable system since March. Empire was going to fix sprinklers but just never showed up. Maintenance continued until May with grumpy and disrespectful man working but “he shows up” so stays on. Then service just got unreliable, until they just stopped showing up altogether. Service was supposed to be mow, edge, weed pulling/treatment and blow every time. Degraded gradually with unpredictable days to not showing up at all.
I was told by someone in their office, last week, that they would meet with us on Tuesday, the 29th, to do an estimate. The estimator called me once too many times to either cancel or push out the appointment, and his excuses didn't seem very valid. I got the impression that he wasn't seriously interested in meeting with us for an estimate. We were ready to go with this company, based on it's reviews, but the constant calling to change the appointment dates & times was just too much of an inconvenience, and we decided to go with someone else.
These guys are the best around! I had a tremendous amount of work to do in my yard and they did the job quickly and it turned out so beautiful as well! Each of the employees are respectful, courteous and friendly. They are all very knowledgeable in this field. I'm looking forward to continued business with this company.
