Five J's is exceptional. I have never had a problem with them over 8 years. They actually pick up their phone, are very cordial and timely, and don't send you the wrong part. This is the best recycler that I know of, and that's the reason I have 877-6270 committed to memory. Leagues ahead of LKQ.
Well, I did not end up getting my part from here because of the color options, I really appreciate all the people in the office and the help they offered. Joe was able to find a couple cars in the back that match what I needed and had someone show them to me. When I told him those did not work, he still ended up helping me find a list of other options that worked for me, and confirmed a different car that I was looking at.
Worked with RJ to get some running boards for my old truck. Flawless process and they arrived fast. I was out of state and had them shipped over 800 miles.

Great place to get used parts for a great price. They seem to care about the parts they want to sell rather than selling whatever they can remove from the vehicle. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be buying more used parts from them in the future.

I bought a motor that was said to be unknown miles. Carfaxed the VIN, it had 285k+k. If the mileage is high, they tell you unknown. If it is low, they are straight with you. Just FYI, carfax the VIN on the paper tag.
Don't ever buy a transmission from here. Have the pictures to prove how dirty oil was and believe this transmission was already broken when I picked it up. Kind of difficult to prove. But just go with a rebuilt transmission. $600 down the drain at this place.

Awesome experience with Five J's! We broke down in Grants, NM on a Sunday, and I called Five J's (and several other parts stores) on Monday morning to find what I needed. Arthur was huge help, worked quickly, and loaded up the part with the delivery service I sent. Thanks Arthur!
Very nice a lot of the auto places I go to for parts are rude and talk down to me cause I'm a woman but they talk to you like a person here. Also very quick service.
I ordered a fusebox for a 2011 jeep wrangler. I was told i could return the part with in 14 days of the purchase. When i received the part i was told once again i could return the part with in 14 days of the purchase. I took the part home and tried it out. It did not work. It was not the right fuse box. It was missing a connection. I called 5J’s and spoke with Arthur and he told me i was okay to go and return it and informed me of the 20% restocking fee. I live in belen nm so i went from Belen to Albuquerque hoping to return the part. And i was rudely told by Arthur to post the part online since he could not take my part back. It had only been 5 days since i purchased the part. I am not sure if Arthur is sexist and did not believe me when i said the part did not work but he was extremely rude. Now i am 467 dollars short because of some misinformation.
My experience was better than expected, I stated the part I needed, and I was taken to view the different opinions available. Overall, the whole process was fast and painless.
The only thing positive with 5 js is that the guy on the phone was nice.
I called at 11 to pick up a window, guy said they will go pull it now. Called at 4 to check, again the guy said that they will pull in now. Called at 430 and said they are working on it now. Arrived at 445 and they were not working on it and hadnt been pulled. Had to wait until 530 to get my window and it was scratched up junk that I will have to replace when I find a better one.
Had been calling every where for throttle cable this is the only place. They had just got a eclipse one year older. The guy I spoke to said to bring it in & we can see if it matches. When I got there it was a line . Put move pretty quick. The person who toke the part to match it was overwhelming but he handle the pressure well . Thank you for stay calm & friendly. Great job. I left a 5 star because I'm looking for a 2014 Ford Explorer push bumper. They don't have any in stock, however everytime I call they are very friendly and don't mind me calling weekly lol. But I have shopped here before in the past and it was also great service then.
I needed a new driver's door on my old Subie. 5J's online search confirmed they had a couple that would fit so I called up and talked to Anthony. He quoted me a very reasonable price. One of their employees drove me through the yard to look at the two options and I picked the one that would work best. Short wait to have them pull it and it was loaded promptly in my truck.
Great business - I can't imagine what it would have cost to find one from a body shop. I'll have to shoot it to match when it gets warmer, but I'm glad I found Five J's Auto!
FINALLY found my replacement original steering column! Staff was great - they found a bad beating and steering shaft after pulling from the vehicle. They repaired it and did it for the same price AND was told its completely guaranteed. Great customer service! Just picked it up today so I haven't tried it yet. Q!
I found a door panel on line to replace mine. Called and asked for more information, was sent a picture and given more info. Ordered the panel and received it well packaged in a few days. Great group to work with, they are busy so you have to follow up.
Just got back from there. Staff are very helpful and know what they have available so no wasted time. This is very busy place like any other business that serves top service. This is good because you get excellent service and quality replacement parts. I Will continue to be a loyal customer to Five J's for all my needed parts.
Very bad experience. They charged us a different price from what was quoted over the phone. When we called to complain we were hung up on several times. The manager Ron was even worse than his employees. Staff is very unprofessional from top to bottom.
Definitely a terrible place. We run a shop and we count on our vendors getting us the parts in a timely manner and expect what they tell you is true. We called earlier this week to order a steering column and Justin gave us a cost of 125 plus 75 shipping so we told them yes. I called the next day for payment and Justin told me he got over-ridden by the manager on the price so it has to be 150 on the part and about 40 for some reason on the shipping so i asked what the out the door price was and he said 199.95. So i asked him if he was sure that was the final price and he said hold on let me check, then came back and told me yes thats the out the door cost. i told him to send it. then the NEXT day, he calls me again and said they got an extra fee for shipping so they have to charge us more which again changed the price to 225 out the door. keep in mind i already quoted my customer for the first price. So i told justin to cancel the order and i called back to speak to the manager. Rude as can be, he told me he couldnt do anything for us and hung up on me. Great service
Ron and Anthony are wonderful. Very polite, and patient. Very good experience. Fast efficient and most of all fair prices. They take the time to try to do what they can to help you..I would absolutely recommend that you come here. I will come back again and again!
First I've tried a few different salvage yards and part store's trying to find a part that I needed, from the salvage yards I've tried Iwas told they had the part I needed and after several tries from these store's they did not, while heading home my wife seen the sign for five J's auto and give them a call, before I made it to there store they confirmed that they had the part, and when I arrived I was driven around to find not only the part I needed but the one I was cosmetically happy with also i didnt have to do anything to remove the part, he also removed other parts I found and offered assistance that I didn't get from the other salvage yards which was great. Second I could not believe the prices were cheaper than I had expected, cheaper than online cheaper than other parts stores. I read two reviews only two from people who gave the one Stars I'm more than sure it probably was because of poor or miscommunication on those individuals behalf because these guys were awesome, from my one visit I will make sure they get as much business as they can, because where I work with over thousands of employees I will make sure to let them know where they can go get their parts from without any problem with the staff and prices. Plus there's no Cowboys fans.
Excellent prices and service. I needed a rear view mirror and a steel rim to replace a bent one I discovered on my used car that I purchased.
The mirror was nice and easy but the rim that I bought ended up having a bent rim edge which no one noticed (including me) when I bought it.
I returned to the shop and they gladly swapped the rim. There was no hassle and I will use them again.
