I am very disappointed in the service that I received. I went into this shop just trying to get my transmission looked at. When I received my car back it was left on E & someone added more than 50 miles on a brand new vehicle which is very noticeable. Please treat your customers better than this.
My engine seized while on vacation. Roman the Manager and the mechanics were very professional and super flexible with me in my time of need. Roman helped me for a week to find an engine (hard to find for my car) and kept in constant contact with me while I continued my vacation. He worked amazingly with my insurance. Very patient and kind people that work here. I highly recommend them if you are ever in need of a mechanic. I told him he needed to open a shop in Chicago (this is where I am from). I purchased a used Subaru Forester with a salvage title from AMC Auto Sales & Salvage. My wife and I looked over the car several times before the purchase. During those visits, we were always treated respectfully and had all our questions answered about the vehicle. I had to do my due diligence in researching the vehicle, but they were also up front about why it had a salvage title and gave me the opportunity to take it to a mechanic to look it over. The purchasing process went relatively smoothly with a few hiccups due to some confusion on the credit union the car loan was coming from but it did not delay when we got the keys. The only time we had a little frustration was trying to figure out who we should be talking to. I'm not sure we ever met the person who actually listed the car for sale. We talked to a person at the front desk, who handed us the keys, and we took the car for a test drive by ourselves. Which made it a no pressure environment but also meant that questions had to be asked in a follow up e-mail or phone call. Overall, a good car buying experience which actually went counter to my initial impression as we were walking to the front door. Also, we've been driving the car for over a month now and have not had any issues. I did not look into other cars they had for sale but it looks like they specialize in repairing salvage titled vehicles and reselling them. From my experience, they do a good job at that.
