Trustworthy, reliable, affordable and honest. If you want to find a shop that doesn't add in unnecessary repairs [$$$] and so doesn't artificially inflate your repair costs, these are your guys. I wanted the alternator replaced on my Honda Odyssey and the dealer wanted 2.5+ times what I was charged here. We all know they are pirates, but when I took the same simple repair to another shop on Hwy 202 in Greenbrook they wanted $200 more than the dealer asked for the OEM part! I didn't know that you could buy better replacement parts for your car than is made by Honda but these thieves tried to convince me otherwise - which forced me to search around until I found Martinsville Auto Repair. After giving me an honest quote and giving me the option to decline installing a gold plated alternator in my car, I was able to book in within the week. When something serious happens to my car in the future, I feel confident that I now have somewhere to go to get my car repaired without the fear that I will have to use my kids college fund to pay for it.

I stopped in to meet Mike to discuss repair for my son’s car . I had never met Mike or been to Martinsville auto as I only moved to the Bridgewater area a few years ago. But I recall seeing on a Facebook group so many positive reviews for this business that I just decided to go in cold.
I’m so grateful that I did. They did a wonderful job repairing my son’s car and the price was reasonable lots of times you wonder as a woman going into a place what’s going to happen? Are they going to take advantage of you? These guys are honest, talented and just all around a great repair shop ! I highly recommend them. I won’t go anywhere else .
Martinsville Auto Repair is hands down the best auto repair shop in the entire state if not the country. I bought a 2000 Ford Ecoline van to travel the country with, against my father’s wishes. My goal is to go to all 63 national parks by the time I’m 35. My journey started at 25 and I am now 28. When I bought the van it had 98,000 miles and needed work. New tires, brakes, etc. the WORKS. But… Because of the hard work, mastery, and dedication of Martinsville auto repair, I’ve been to 30 National Parks, I’ve driven over 35,000 miles in my van, pushed it very well past it's limit, and it never ever let me fail. Great experience at Martinsville auto repair, I brought my car to the dealer and they said I needed over $1,000 worth of repairs, ended up going to this shop and Mike was super honest and helpful and I really didn’t need much done besides brakes. Mike and rob are both great at what they do. Will never trust the dealer again.
Mike and his crew at Martinsville Auto are awesome! I had been told I “may need” a new transmission due to a certain part in the trans being faulty and hence need the whole thing replaced! I went to Mike for a second opinion and he ran diagnostics and said one of my spark plugs and another part were bad and needed to be teplqced. He replaced those and drained Trans fluid put new in with an additive and the car has been great ever since!! His pricing is very fair and his work is honest and excellent! I will be back for sure!

I wanted to thank Mike Pine and Martinsville Auto for saving my marriage and providing great work on my car at a fair price. I had my MiniCooper towed to Mini of Morristown because I thought it was still within warranty. The estimate I received was for over $7,000 though the only thing I knew was it wouldn't start, and AAA didn't have the proper battery. Among their many claims were leaks, despite not seeing anything on our garage floor. When Mike was done, the car drives as good as new and for a cost of less than $3,000. Thank you Mike Pine and Martinsville Auto.
Mike and Martinsville Auto is VERY honest. I took my daughters Jeep in for squeaking brakes. Mike told me that the breaks are fine, a pebble just scratched the rotor. Mike said he would try to stop the squeaking but not 100% without replacing the brakes (which are still good). Who does that?!?! Any other place would say squeak means total replacement. I am glad I had them check the car before I sent daughter out to college.
We had the entire exhaust system replaced on a Murano. Car is running great now…I think it’s quieter then when it was new. Also, owners were very professional, helpful and overall pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them to others.
This shop handles all of our vehicles. They recently replaced a front wheel bearing and the brakes on my Explorer. Runs like new. Couldn’t be happier. They never oversell and the prices are extremely reasonable.

I usually go to the dealers to get my Oil change, but after they messed my filter up, I won't be going anywhere but Martinsville Auto Repair. They fixed my breaks and fixed what the dealers had messed up in my oil filter. I was able to come back from vacation to my car all fixed. They were super professional and kept me up to speed with what was going on. Not only that but they completely cleaned the snow off of my car and the price didn't break the bank. I've been having my car serviced by Mike & his team for the past 6-7 years. Mike is down to earth, honest and pricing is very good compared to chain stores like PepBoys, Firestone etc. He's patient and explains things so you can understand. He stands by his work and if there's any problem, bring it back and they'll take care of it. Wish I found him sooner!
Mike and Rob are awesome mechanics and have been working together for over 30 years. If you are looking for an establishment where auto technicians are honest and won't rip you off, this is the repair shop to go to. I've been going to Martinsville Auto Repair for about two or three years now. Mike, Rob, and TJ are the best guys for the job. They will let you know exactly what your car needs, as well as an estimate and work around your requests too (I asked for an interstate battery and got one). They stand behind their work and are genuinely nice guys as well. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. I've never been dissatisfied with their work. Great shop, great work.
