I went to get my 2015 Durango truck fixed. They changed the brakes and inspected my entire car to avoid future problems. The staff told me they were new owners and were applying some discounts. Honestly, they treated me very well, and the price was fair. I would return to them for service on my truck.
Jaime at JDM is everything you would hope to find in a mechanic. Honest, fair and thorough. Be good to him and he’ll be good to you. I run a business across the street so I went to him out of convenience. I go back to him and tell my friends for the reasons mentioned.
Took my car for oil change to Westfield Auto Care Center, because they are close to my house. After service was done Mario called and told me that my brakes need to be changed like yesterday and I have a light and brakes are scrubbing rotor. After I got my car back I checked that there was no light and I looked and my brake pads where I still have like 40% life in them. I decided that I am not bringing my car back to him for brake change because there is no need yet. After he called me to confirm appointment I mentioned about what he said and that his story doesn’t Mach with my break pads. He told me that he got special tool to measure break pads and that’s how he diagnose it. I understand about cars a lot just don’t have time to mess with it. And I am 100% sure that he was trying to rip me off. I will never bring my car there again.
Good guys, good shop, high but fair rates, very convenient tow when I broke down nearby. Unfortunate communication failures. Labor $145/hour.
Will treat your beat up, less than $2,000 vehicle like a premium import and charge you for it! I really needed better communication and $1000 still in my account more than my steam cleaned engine and premium parts. Partially my fault for not communicating more clearly what I needed, and for taking it to this kind of shop in the first place.
Very professional and knowledgeable staff. They were able to service a wheelchair van that other autoshops were unable to work on. An honest and and thoughtful shop, highly recommended.

I took my Volvo here because it said they specialize in volvos. When I dropped my car off I felt really good, the lady inside was very courteous and told me about a discount for first responders( which was never mentioned about again or applied). I took my car for oil leak which they fixed hence the 2 stars. Check engine light was not on when I bought it in and when they were done my check engine light was on and months later it still won’t go off. They did a timing change and the car is throwing timing codes despite them telling me it’s because the car has a lot of miles. The car stutters going up hills or accelerating. The lady inside is telling me it’s my front end and she said we fixed the oil leak that’s all we’re responsible for. I won’t recommend them to anyone! And if you go there I advise you to always inspect for damage before and after you get your car.
Just moved to town. Took in my boyfriends work truck in for new breaks. They did the work same day and gave us a price for almost half what we paid at the place we used to go. Highly recommend!
Very disappointed. I'm embarrased to admit I fell for his tricks. Mario said my car needed new brakes. I got a second opinion since I was starting to get suspicious about Mario's work ethic. My second opinion said my car brakes were ok. Avoid Westfield Auto.
Recently brought my A8 to DCH Audi in Millburn for Air Conditioning compressor. I was called two hours later with a bill estimate for $2700 and they also said that it wasn't the final amount and that it might be even more and then I remembered seeing a sign for "Westfield Auto Care" right across from the train station. On the way to work, I stopped by and I asked, what could be wrong with my 2008 A8 conditioning?!?! He showed me that he was very knowledgeable about Audis and other German cars. So I had my car brought to Mario's shop the next day and I was told that all I needed was the Air compressor and a belt + freon gas. Since I picked it up, my car is like new for a quarter of what DCH quoted me. I wanna thank Mario for giving me these past week and a half of A/C to combat the hellish heat from outside.
I have a 2003 Audi A4. With 164,000 Miles, it needed oil pan gasket and rear main seal. I am very happy with Westfield Auto Care. The dealer quoted me for more than the car was worth and another local mechanic said the car couldn't be fixed. Luckily, I found Westfield Auto and they fixed the problem very well and for a good low price. Thanks Mario!
Stay away. Westfield Auto is cheap at first glance, but ends up costing a lot because he will miss-diagnose the problem and "fix" things that aren't broken. I was searching for a good local mechanic and it was very costly to find out that Westfield Auto is not it. PS - For the problem that I had with my car, I had to take it back 3 times; each time he changed a different expensive part ... and it is still not fixed! It's the worst!!
Hi my name is Patty and I like to put a review regarding Westfield Auto Care. After looking for a place to live for me and my son we found beautiful Westfield. Westfield has everything great schools, great shopping and friendly people and the train station for an easy commute to New York I work in Manhattan and take the train 5 days a week. I was looking for a place to get my Volvo serviced. I found Mario at Westfield Auto his shop is right across the street from the train station on South Ave, where I pick up the train for my commute. Westfield Auto was perfect at a perfect location for me. I spoke to Mario, a great guy, who owns the repair shop I was greeted wtih a warm, friendly smile.He made me feel like I knew him for years. Mario told me I I could leave my car in the morning when I went to work and he would have it ready when I returned from New York that day. Being a single mom I need my car to run around town with my son to the libray, music lessons, after school events and daily errands. I left my car in the morning, the first time I took my car to Westfield Auto it was just a simple oil change.My car was done when I returned at the end of the day and the price was fair. It was so easy for me being so close to the train station. From that day forward Mario has always taken care of my car breaks, tires and when my check engine light was on Mario went out of his way to fix the problem. I feel Mario is a life saver for me and my son. I can't see myself going any place else. For me and my son its one less thing for us to think about. Thank you Mario at Westfield Auto Care Center you will always be my go to place for my car to be repair.
