I rarely write reviews, but this one annoyed me enough to speak up.
I stopped in because I was having a simple spark plug issue — literally something that needed a quick turn. I also came in hoping to build a relationship with a local shop. My brothers and I all live in town, and we each have cars we actively work on and upgrade. We were looking for a shop we could trust for ongoing work.
I explained that my car was misfiring and asked for a little help. Instead of even taking a look or offering advice, I was told, “I don’t loan out tools. Drop the car off.” For something that would’ve taken two twists of the wrist.
I laughed, said thanks, and walked out.
The shop missed out on a great long-term customer — and the referrals that come with it. We spend serious money on our cars, especially as I’m building mine toward track use, and I was genuinely looking for a place to invest that work locally.
Respect and relationships matter. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel either here.
They absolutely know what they're doing with European cars, i had to learn to do allot of work on my BMW because most mechanics don't - so i had reasons to be cautious, but their pricing is fair, their work is on point, and they could've tried to BS me but didn't.
Euro Motors of Garwood is my go to garage for engine repairs, especially for my Audi and Mercedes needs. I have tried dealers and independent mechanics closer to where I live but too many times have ended up with unnecessary and expensive repairs. I have had too many experiences with techs not being able to diagnose an engine problem properly. Euro Motors is the only shop I have been to in 20 years in the area that can diagnose issues quickly and complete repairs at a fair cost. Ask for Victor.
Victor and co took great care of my car as usual. I have an older volvo and this was actually the third time over the past few years that I entrusted them to take care of my car and they did an excellent job as always. If you have a European car please visit this shop they offer the best service ive ever seen in any auto repair establhment.
If you have an issue with your German made car Euro Motors is where you should bring it. I thought I would need a new engine for my Benz but turns out it was just a fan belt. The other work remaining it 25% of what at least 5 other shops were going to charge me. Honesty, integrity is why they will have a customer for life for my Mercedes E-350.
Great neighborhood shop specializing in luxury cars. Dropped my Mercedes off to repair an issue in the front suspension. Overall very professional, fast, and accommodating.
I’ve coming here for north of 5 years on all my standard BMW and M3s. Never looked or looking anywhere else. Absolutely great shop, techs know exactly what they’re doing, super professional and always on time. Couldn’t recommend it more.
I have a 1977 Fiat X1/9 that was running poorly, I made an appointment with Euro Motors on a Wednesday and received the car back Thursday. The car runs PERFECTLY!
I asked for a leak and compression test of my porsche 996 and was told it was fine an it was a AOS an that the god awful tapping was nothing well after charging me 1300$ to replace the part. (part cost 125.00) he sends me on m way says the tapping is nothing and the car is fine and the smoke will stop in a few days.. WRONG... turns out my car had a bad cylinder and bad rod. and was burning oil at 1 liter a week.
Vic has helped me keep two old Porsches running. I've gone to other shops because they were somewhat more convenient, only to realize that Euro does it right, doesn't overcharge, and keeps things solid.
