When he went to go return it to the store the same day a couple hours later, they said they had no transaction history for it. I went to this parts shop after my mechanic suggested it. Found the required part easily, staff explained things clearly, and the pricing felt reasonable.

I had a great experience at Advance Auto. The staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and very attentive from the moment I walked in. Irene went above and beyond to help me—she took the time to answer all my questions, made sure I found exactly what I needed, and provided excellent customer service without making me feel rushed. Her professionalism and friendly attitude truly stood out and made the experience smooth and stress-free. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this store to others!

Terrible the Spanish lady is very slow and doesn’t care about customer service don’t bother coming to this location you will waste time standing in line while the lady speaks Spanish with one customer for 26mins letting him go to his car 6different times while everyone else waits wish I could give negative stars

I went to this store on January 21st, 2025 to check my battery, if I need to buy new battery, they refused to help me take out the battery, after a long pleading, they took it out, when I came back to collect my battery, they refused to put it back, they showed attitudes towards me, insulted me, this is about 8:30 pm to 9pm, they gave us the tools to put it back, the tools mistakenly fell and was hung in the middle of the engine, I told my son to talk to one of the staff to help take out the tools and put back the battery, they refused and we were charged $8.00 for misplacing the tools. These are not the kind of people we need in that environment. They are real racist and they even collected the ID of my son before we leave their store.

Manager Gee is that her name don't want to switch a part that she gave wrong under the excuse that is electrical when she give the wrong part to begin with. DO NOT USE THIS STORE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I braught in a old battery and asked if they buy old batt batteries because i know autozone does but the nearest autozone was a 20 min drive. They said they did so I baught a new battery and they charged me regular price without adding the store credit. I noticed and asked the man at the register told me it was deducted it would be higher without it. I came home and reviewed the receipt and calculated and they in fact did not add the credit and when i called the store and they heard my voice they hung up after hearing my voice. I shouldve just made the trip to Autozone where i never had a problem.

They refuse to return unopen tool that is no good i dont recommended buying tools from advanced auto . autozone better on that issue . That was bad experiance

Gee was a big help with my dead car battery. She was able to make me feel at ease while I was stressing out regarding my car (especially I was far from home!) As I was waiting for the technician to arrive, she was courteous and professional to all the customers and some she even know by name. Good job Gee!

Came to this store at 8:50 to drop off a ups package and they had the door locked already. I told one of the coworkers that all I needed was to drop off a package and he just looked away and did not open the door. I also have to add that not too long ago I dropped off another ups package and the package just vanished once i dropped it off, was never found and was never delivered and they did nothing about it, I was just told that the ups people were the ones supposed to respond for it which I found weirds since the package never even made it out of the store. I would not recommend this store for your delivery services at all. Awful! Which I could give 0 stars!

I believe her name was Gee, not sure but she is the General Manager at store location 8081. 619 Newark Ave Elizabeth New Jersey. She is AWESOME. This lady was very patient and kind during the entire transaction. She actually went the extra mile to make sure my account information was correct and updated within the system. She even took the time to contact the customer support team to assure me, I wouldn’t have any issue in the future. I was able to earn points as a speed perk member and utilize the points I had already gathered. In my opinion all of Advance Auto Part’s staff should emulate Gee’s morale. She made my day better just by initiating overall care and concern. We all know in the NJ area people are not too kind, but Ms. Gee is truly the example of selfless, professional and thorough. Thanks for a great experience..

Poor service I just get out from the store and everybody was yelling each other a guy with a long hair is just disgusting and have a terrible customer service… I don’t recommend this store at all and even that guy is a bad person go to autozone it’s so much better

I think your "no return policy" on tools is Absolutely ridiculous! I was given some pretty bad advice about a tool that I had no clear idea how to use and was told that it was suitable for my needs. Turns out, it wasn't suitable at All and now I'm out $30 just because others have Abused the privilege of being able to return items. I understand the need to protect your Profits, but in some cases it's unfair and makes people want to shop elsewhere!... And I would appreciate it if you would save the Generic response to this Post and offer a solution instead...or just remain silent and lose a valuable Customer. Thanks again... Who exactly am I supposed to reach out too? Pretty sure I'll get an employee who will Remind me of the same thing I'm already complaining about if I call the store. Or even worse, a manager that is Obligated to tell me Their "hands are tied)...

You should put more professional people to work at your stores. Today one of the employees came to the front and asked another employee a question. And that woman after searching the computer began to insult her. And it's kind of a pity because the employee told her to be calm that she wouldn't speak to her like that in front of the customers and once the employee she insulted walked away she continued telling her if you don't like it, you can leave telling her I don't know how you are a manager if you don't know anything. I saw the other one who came quietly trying to avoid the commotion leave with her eyes watered. No one should be treated in this way at a work place. Those things should not happen in front of the customers and even more if they are good employees. I don't know why you put that woman in that store I have seen her react this way multiple times. I hope they take this into consideration and get rid of that women.

Yesterday, when I was going back home my car got overheated, I saw an auto parts store so I pulled over and I ran for antifreeze, this store is a medium to large size place with a big parking lot, employees were taking care of customers. The main CSR person while he was attending a client told me right away where to go for antifreeze. All the employees were actively helping people. I’m impressed by their efficiency, dedication and professionalism. Thanks for your excellence service Advance Auto Parts!

I needed to have my battery checked because my car was giving me trouble to start. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful both on the phone and in person. The man who checked my battery and replaced it was very knowledgeable. Even though the store was busy the wait time was short and the job was done quickly. I appreciate the man and the young lady who helped me by phone on helping me make the best decision for my needs by suggesting I do a battery check before purchasing online. She was professional and also explained the store policy on returns in which was why I decided to go to this specific store location vs another store that was closer to home. In my experience both employees provided excellent customer service. I left a happy customer. I give them ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

Customer service got us the parts we needed and offered to help set us up with a mechanic to help fix my car window. But the mechanic never showed up. But they checked to make sure that we were able to put our lights in. Overall service was not bad.

I left my house in such a great mood, to my surprise I felt like I wanted to disrespect this cashier. She was so disrespectful and I will never stop here again. They made me feel like they had better things to do. She then told me she can't wait and she not gonna cash me out ... Don't ever call or go here gene is the worst
