Horrrible owners, horrible drivers, horrible services. Damaged my car trying to put it on the flatbed. Worst of the worst. Avoid this company at all costs.
Got recommended to them by Tesla. Charged me for $325 for a tow 18 miles away and then because they used “skates” for 2 tires, qualifies apparently as a “special tow” so they hit you with an extra $225 for a car literally already facing straight ahead and on the side of a dead end street. Place is a scam artist and hope they never get another day of business
Awful experience, they charge excessive storage fees they scam their customers. Their operating hours are not even up to standards according to New Jersey state regulations. Don’t ever hire this company!! Beware of the high charges!! They’re not open on the weekends either.
If there was a selection to choose no stars I would. Aft getting into an accident (which happened on a Saturday), police dispatched a nearby tow company and dropped it off at this lot (with no options of using my personal plan with AAA). I called immediately after the tow truck took my car on Saturday and was informed they aren't open on the weekends so I come back Monday for my car and they told me I owed them $500. They charged $330 for the tow from the accident to the lot which was not even a full mile away and $50 per each day of storage. They charged me for Saturday and Sunday costs even though I had no option to get the car until Monday and just told w policy. It's absolutely absurd I had to pay $150 to store it even though I had no choice because they were closed and had no option of towing it elsewhere. Don't forget the part their hours are 9-3pm mon-fri and the girl at the front desk had the audacity to say they've been open all day and I could have come sooner- no average working American ends work earlier than 5pm. I can't even begin to explain the unwillingness to help, rude attitude and overall terrible experience I had with this towing garage
Got assigned this company from state farm roadside assistance. I was told at 1:56 they would arrive in 45-75 minutes. I called at 3 pm and was told it would be another 40 minutes because of traffic. I called again at 3:45 and was sent to voicemail. So I waited from 2-4 and never heard from them unless I called. I cancelled the service and figured out another solution.
They lied about the time the tow would arrive. I told them I could no longer wait on the tow truck after waiting an 1hr and 20mins for a tow they said would arrive in 16 to 20 mins. The police could not wait and I was forced to use the police tow. They refused to refund any of the $300 I had to pay for a service I did not even receive.
Worst experience ever. Refusing to work with you. Doors lock at 3 so normal 9-5 people watch out because they don’t care. Will NOT help with faxing release forms or staying late for people work NORMAL hours. Overpriced, and useless. Workers are rude and inconsistent with responses. Will NEVER use them if they were the LAST towing company on earth. Highly recommend ANYONE other than them. Should update hours to 8-3 since they’re too prissy to actually work. They are NOT open 24 hours. Very misleading
Dishonest service. They do not honor their quote. Called in on Friday, 6/26 and requested the quote for a tow on Monday, 6/29. Spoke with Chris. Arrangement was to pick up the vehicle at the private residence in Middletown NJ, load it on the flatbed and drive it approx 16 miles to the nearby Home Depot parking lot where the vehicle was to be loaded on the 18 wheeler so it can be transported out of state. Chris quoted me $150 and no more than $200 if towed afterhours due to overtime expenses. Called another towing place and they quoted me $200 flat. I decided to go with Central Towing and was told by Chris to call on Monday couple of hours prior to needing the tow truck. Called them on Monday around 4:30PM (spoke to Janine) and told her about being quoted by Chris and provided all the details. They loaded the vehicle by 6:35 PM on their truck, drove to the Home Depot and were done with the job by 7:25PM. Driver who said his name was Thomas said bill was $404. I told him about the quote but he would not honor it. I asked Thomas to speak with Chris but was told Chris not available. I called the main number but was told I reached afterhours call line, Chris was not available and there was nothing they can do. Finally, Thomas told me I either pay or he would call police. Since I was not on the site and had 18 wheeler truck and driver waiting there I paid the $404. This was a non emergency tow and I had plenty of time to shop around. If they had quoted me $404 I would not have used them.
The customer service IN the office is completely ridiculous. The woman at the desk told us “hang on a minute” because her show was on as she watched it from her 1980’s projector screen. We came to get belongings from the car and they put it in a giant puddle, we went to ask if someone could just pull it out for a 5 minutes and she told us no, and “good luck buddy”. That’s not how you treat people who were in an accident, lose the attitude or lose this women off your payroll because that’s ridiculous to say to people.
Brandon was very professional and courteous. He made a terrible experience better with his reassurance and positivity. He is truly an amazing person. We can't thank him enough for his help.
