Very helpful staff. Got me in and out with a new tire in under an hour without an appointment. Freezing cold day and I got a flat! They were so understanding of my situation. Of course I’m a loyal customer now! Reasonable price, good advice on other services but no pressure. I know the cost of the All Season tire was competitive.
Came in to get an issue handled and Darryl was the one helping me. He was super straightforward, explained what I actually needed without making it complicated, and didn’t try to sell me extra stuff. I really appreciated that.
He was patient, professional, and just easy to deal with overall. As someone who doesn’t know a ton about cars, that makes a big difference. Smooth experience and I’m grateful for the help.
I’ve been bringing my vehicle to this Firestone location since I first got it, and Darryl has been nothing short of exceptional. Firestone was not able to install my tires as their equipment could not handle 23 in wheels for a Mercedes GLS.
Tire Rack sent the tires to Firestone and until the day of delivery when I called Firestone to schedule installation they didn’t make me aware they could not install them.
I called and asked them to inform me when the tires arrived, Spoke with Daryl who told me they would call me when the tires arrived and instead they refused delivery from UPS. They did not call me. I had to find out from UPS they refused delivery. Now I lose multiple days because the tires will have to get returned or rerouted to another shop.
Instead of apologizing or taking any accountability he told me to talk to Tire Rack or UPS even after I brought it to his attention that he took down my number and he advised they would let me know when the tires arrived so I can pick them up today and get them installed at another shop.
Horrible customer service, no accountability and obviously a tire shop that can’t handle 23 in wheels.
Would not recommend!
I have a tire that was consistencynlosing air. I went to Firestone and they patched my tire and gave me 4 caps. The staff was extremely polite and friendly!
Car broke down in Red Bank after 5:30. I hardly made it to Firestone. Darryl came right out and tested my charging system. Gave me an estimate and the car was ready to go the next day by 11am. Can't ask for more than that! He even applied the upcoming 4th of July discount! Friendly, good listener and explained the necessary repair well. I took a guess at the estimate and it was considerably lower. I like using Firestone because the rates are corporate set and predictable, not like a private garage.
Last summer, two garages said I needed a new ac compressor. I went to West Long Branch Firestone. They serviced the AC, purged and refilled the freon, it's been fine ever since.

Came by tonight, Adam and Matt stayed late and got me out of the jam with my tire issue. Five stars, did not leave me stranded and really came through for me thank you Adam and matt!!
I am not very knowledgeable about tires, I was replacing 4 specialty tires for an M series BMW and asked Chat what to ask about their ability to measure and adjust whatever was needed for an alignment of the suspension, they knew all the details and were very pleasant answering my questions, the job was seemingly done flawlessly and at a reasonable price.
I was in town for less than 12 hours and got an unpatchable flat, these guys went above and beyond to squeeze me in and find a tire for my car so I could get home. Complete life savers
John and Steve are aces. We live in Middletown and after complete frustration dealing with Firestone in our town, I called Red Bank and so glad I did. Looking forward to returning on our next need. Call them. You will not be disappointed.
Good team , explained everything. Have been going there for 10 years . We have a family of 7 with 6 cars. Have faith in their ability to take care of my cars.
Car had front end noise when hitting bumps. The test drove the car and said I need struts and a crosslink on the front end $1,500 later. Got the car back, had all the same noises and both front fenders where they worked on my white car had greasy handprints all over it.
Giving Steven the Assistant Manager 5 stars. He’s excellent. Professional , knowledgeable, helpful, courteous. The tech doing the tire work seemed quite good and efficient. But…..I had to bring the car back in because I had a shimmy and vibration at both lower and especially higher speeds. They are rechecking the car for balance issues and checking for alignment issues. The car is on the rack. Hopefully they will determine the issue. Again Steven is doing a very good job.
Had a scheduled appointment they told me what it was gonna cost was $1100. They told me to bring it in a few days later they asked me if I wanted to stay while they did the work I said how long is it going to be two hours I came back in three. It wasn’t ready for another four hours after that. My final bill went from $1100-$2600 without them explaining anything. I don’t think I’ve ever been screwed over by a company more. It is the craziest experience as a consumer I’ve ever had. Stay away from this place I’m furious with my friend who recommended them
I had an emergency tire leak and mechanic Dennis analyzed problem quickly and fixed tire within 30 minutes. This was great as I live in brooklyn and was visiting red bank, nj at the time.
Was told the repair would take 1-2 hours to replace the leaking part. Instead it took over 3 hours with no end in sight; what is the point in making appointments if the car will not be worked on during the time period?
I don't mind the duration of work but lying and ruining my plans for the day is not okay.
Very long line to check-in with only one guy working and then they wouldn't honor appointment to install 1 tire. Told me to drop off and/or come back tomorrow. Rep said they were 'overbooked.'
I took the tire I'd ordered from Tire Rack and I'm getting it installed at another place as I write this.
The last time I was in they took about 2.5 hours to do a tire install on a Saturday appointment.
I've been coming here for many years and was always happy with their service but something has changed-- not enough people working or something.
The service is very good. I am giving it one star as a warning over the firestone credit card.You will be told its 6 months no interest .However they did not warn that its deferred interest and even if only a little bit is owed at the end, you will be charged 6 months interest at 34%.They also hit you with paper fees. It turned out to be a very expensive proposition-better off with regular credit card.
Always a pleasure working with Daryl. Firestone keeps all my cars running and makes reasonable suggestions on what to fix or maintain. I've had a much better experience working with them compared to the dealership or other local shops (e.g. Midas). There is a reason that there are always cars in their lot!
I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at this location which I selected the option that I would be waiting for my vehicle to be finished. After receiving multiple confirmation texts to confirm my appointment I arrived on time to check in. The employee working the desk was very frazzled and asked if I would be able to drop the car off which I confirmed I would be waiting as indicated in my appointment. He then said that it would be at least an hour before they got to me and another hour of waiting for the services. I explained that wouldn't work for me and asked if they weren't going to be able to honor the scheduled appointment they could have at least had the courtesy to text or notify me before I got there. The employee very rudely asked that "couldn't I see him juggling everyone in there". Mind you there was only two people in the waiting room. Will not waste my time at this location again.
When you go a places like this you think you can get some reparations in your car, right? however I got the worse experience here.
I left my car there to get my battery change and when I went to pick it up, my car was scratched, I was in shock about how it could happens, so I spoke with the manager and he just told me nobody from there did it, he said go home and wait 2 business days, i will call you as soon as I watch the cameras, so I called the police to get a report; they went inside to watch the cameras and the cameras were not working, the manager lied to me, so, nobody took care of this, I really expect at least an apology from them, but nothing at all.
