I had to get a battery, radiator and powersteering fluid. Wasn't sure if I had the right powersteering fluid and if they were gona have a battery but, a very professional man named Jose had helped me out big time! Confirmed my items, and got me the biggest battery. Thanks, and not only helped me install it, he taught me about the features and use of the safety straps a non related mechanic left Uninstalled. The visit to the store was a major success made super easy.! Jose is extraordinary, thank you for your help!

Jose saved the day! Got stuck in a snowstorm with a dead battery, had it replaced at a different shop. Afterwards the windows, USB, AWD and OBD2 scanner wouldn’t work. The shop that replaced the battery said they couldn’t help. Brought the car here to AAP in Union Beach and Jose checked literally everything. Spent close to an hour troubleshooting. Finally, he found a blown mini-fuse in the internal fuse box. Replaced it free of charge with a smile - just as excited as we were. Everything worked immediately. 10/10 Highly Recommend.

By far the best experience in an auto parts store. Jose was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I originally said no to him helping me because my past experiences in auto stores are not great however, had he not checked my selection I woud have purchased the wrong thing. He also took the time to explain the protection plan which I purchased. This will now be the only auto store I go to

Terrible customer service I came in for pepper spray which it states on the website THEY SELL. When asking about pepper spray location inside of the store I was told in a very nasty tone “uh no that’s probably not here that’s more of a CVS thing” what do you mean probably not? And no he didn’t check!

Not enough employees. Stood around for 15 minutes because one guy held up the only employee in the store over a part that they didn’t even have in stock. Ended up putting everything back and just leaving.

This is one of the best Advance Auto Parts locations I’ve ever visited. I was impressed by the great prices and excellent service. I came in looking for parts for my vehicle, and one of the employees, Ed, was extremely helpful. He recommended the right parts for my car and even installed a new battery for me.

Heather and Jose helped me out with replacing my battery. Heather has great customer service skills with her friendly and helpful attitude. She efficiently gave me a quote over the phone and when I got there Jose helped me out with removing my old battery and installing the new one! My old truck hood doesn't stay open but that didn't stall Jose! He got something to hold up the hood and replaced my battery in maybe 20 minutes. Very thankful they worked so well with me as I had to get to work but they made an issue feel like an errand! Thank you SO MUCH Jose and Heather!

Called for a part gave a VIN and he didnt feel like inserting the VIN so he huffed and puffed since it was all I had. Then Got upset that I didnt say I was calling from a shop when I clearly stated when he answered the phone. Maybe if he lost the attitude some he could hear better. Goodluck and sucks that one bad experience ruins the entire outlook on the place. Definetly should fix the attitude and customer service. If its not for you I recommend finding something that doesnt require that. Rarely have this issue but its happend twice and the same person. So attention needs to be given to that person, he also hung up after giving the price didnt even let me finish putting in the order. I Called Dec. 28, at 1:15. If you were curious to check. 😌

Just want to give a shout out to Larry and Jose. Larry was very helpful checking my battery and determined it was dead and not an issue with the alternator and recommended some covers. And Jose was so quick getting my battery replaced. Thank you both so so so much!!! I’m so happy and relieved, thanks for making this painful experience much much less painful.

Stopped in to have battery changed on my girls highlander . Adam was very attentive and professional . We left car and returned and the battery was installed and car was ready As an ex employee of Adavance it was nice to see a young man that was respectful and so helpful !! Now if Advance could just get rid of Aderito the district mgr they’d do much better Adam gets 👍👍👍 great job kid

I have the worst experience at this location management needs to reevaluate the two workers that were on duty today one name is Derek and the other lady would not provide her name because she knows she was in the wrong they were being extremely rude disrespectful and not customer service friendly and they deserve to be to be let go or Dealt with. it was honestly very disturbing how they talk to me and another woman. I will make sure that me or my family will never do business with this location ever again. It was verbal Assault and absolutely unacceptable behavior. They are representing your company with such discussed mouth and service not acceptable in the retail world. A person like that does not deserve a job if they can’t treat others with respect. If management would like to know further what happen please reach out thank you and have a great day

They're good. Almost always have what you want. And they can give you a range of prices in most parts you need. Service and personnel have always been polite and efficient.

The workers at this location are awesome they really listen and do try and help you. might have to be patient and wait a little bit for your turn but that's because they do take an interest and they are trying to help customers who don't know much about automobiles get the correct parts. Also purchased Seat covers, which I didn't care for and they took them back no issues!

Great customer service. Car battery was on the way out and wanted a replacement. Jon was very helpful in helping me select the right battery, and installed it for free. He did a quick, thorough and professional job. I will definitely return here for my other vehicle’s batteries when needed.

On the day before thanksgiving (wed night) I met Jon and Chris. My husband and I just passed inspection on an additional car we own and decided to pack the car up and take that on our family vacation. Well then min we left town and were on 36 all our lights went out our dashboard and our tail lights. We were driving to the mountains in north jersey and knew it would be impossible to get there. The baby in the car and everything else we stopped at advanced auto. Jon and Chris went above and beyond their normal duties and helped us get our car rolling. Our whole thanksgiving would have been ruined if it wasnt for them standing outside in the cold helping us out I highly recommend these 2 gentlemen. They were exactly that gentlemen. They didnt have to do what they did to assist us. I thank God these 2 men were working there at that time. Usually before holidays noone in service industry wants to do anything these 2 forgot about everything and said im going to help this couple get to their families house. Godbless them both. Advanced auto is very privileged to have them. I'd hire them if I could ;) 🦃🙌👍

I'm giving this Advance Auto Parts five stars because of one employee alone. I wish I'd taken his name, but he couldn't have been more helpful with everything l needed. I was there on 3/16/2019. The employee was about 23 years old with a small beard. The store was very well stocked, and typical of a store like this, but that one employee made all the difference...

Yesterday evening I got to my car and noticed I had a flat tire. It was about 7 o clock in the evening and I knew for sure no tire shop or mechanic would be open at that hour. So I drove to the nearest place to get help which was Advanced Auto Parts. I asked the gentleman (I failed to get his name) if there was any way he can take a look at my tire. He very nicely offered to help and take a look at it. Well in the end I was truly blessed because he and his co-worker swapped out my flat and replaced it with my spare tire that I had in my trunk. I offered to give them each a little tip but they both refused to accept it..I am truly grateful that they took the time to go out of there way and help me. At least I know there are still some nice people in this world! Thank you both again. :)

Being that the car before this was a total junker, i frequented this place weekly if not daily. Buying parts or oil and filters for my truck. They were always willing to help me find what i needed and offer any advice they could. From finding another store who had what i needed and having it delivered to me or the store or helping me choose the right filters and wipers for my car Advanced is always going out of their way to help

Worst store ever. All they have is parts counters so If you plan to buy something off the shelf good luck! You will have to wait till a parts counter is free which is usually 10 min a customer. I tried to wait but the parts man are slow and was faster for me to leave the store drive 5 miles down the road to Pepboys which has parts counter and a separate register for customers that are buying stuff off the shelf. I was in and out in 3 min. Don't ever use advance. Pepboys and autozone are a much better place to go to
