I brought some car parts here probably a month or so ago and the gentleman that was helping me gave me the lowest possible prices for the items even though I knew what they should have been put through as. I guess because I'm a female they assumed I was an idiot and gave me $30 for 100's of pounds of aluminum cast iron and stainless steel. I will never bring any of my scrap metal here again!
Rich - did a very good job and good customer service. If u need to get rid of your car call them and they pick up your car up and get rid of it and cash in hand when everything all done ..
The yard is very clean and staff is helpful. However no visible price list anywhere at the yard nor is it online. Attempted to call multiple times and the women transfers me to the scale house. Which it then goes right to voicemail. Left a voicemail and no call back.

This was my first time using Peddle to sell my old car. My car was assigned to Alpha Shredding group. They kept me informed during the whole process. The driver called me the day of to let me know he would be there around 7:30. He was there on time. Was very nice and professional.

I was assigned this company through Peddle to sell my car and I’ve never had an issue with Peddle after selling my cars before but I would beware of this specific buyer. My scheduled time for pick up was 7-9 am and I do not live near where the car was. We arrived a little before 7am as to not keep the driver waiting if they did show up early. We waited until 9:30 when we called the buyer for an update. Apparently the driver had an issue with the truck and had to return back to the yard. This was fine as things happen but there was no attempt to reach out to us and keep us updated. We were then told over the phone that someone would call us shortly with an update. After another hour and a half we called back to find out that we had a new driver scheduled but we were after a few other pick ups. We waited for about 3 more hours until we called again when we were told that they needed to contact the driver and hung up on us. Once again no call back. After the driver finally arriving almost 45 minutes later they proceeded to cut our offer price in half due to an “after market” catalytic converter. No where during this or previous deals done through Peddle was this mentioned. All that was mentioned was whether or not the car had catalytic converters. We were blindsided by this news after waiting over 5 hours past my scheduled time while the company showed little to no care or respect for our time or the offer made. Would not go through this buyer again.

Beginning with the initial phone call with that rockstar Jen to the pick up. Awesome from beginning to end. Presently going through a situation and Jen's patience explaining the process. Also her setting it up so both cars can be picked up simulatenously. It was a pleasure.
Then to pick up day. Get a phone call from Alex our pickup expert, letting me know he was on the way. Inspected the vehicles, took care of paperwork and paid on the spot the pre-determined amount. He was incredibly friendly and empathic to the situation which made the process easier.

the new company has improved alot extended hours, the yard is near spotless, except the piles which are contained. the payout system is automated and there are now 2 scale an in and out. great improvement over the former Trenton Iron and recycling. Quick in and out. Competitive pricing clean clean and fast!

Papito picked up our old 2001 Subaru and was incredible! Two flat tires and parked all the way in the back of our driveway and he got it out with no trouble. Super professional, fast and courteous! Some words of praise for Richard- a kind, friendly, totally capable and professional employee. He picked up our old vehicles today (on personal request for him, as he'd impressed me last year on a previous pickup), notified me of his departure our way, arrived exactly when he said he would, and executed great skill and deliberation in loading the vehicles (no simple task for how and where they'd been parked, dead-as-doornails). His amiable, "can-do" spirit was- for a second time- very reassuring. I'm so glad I requested Richard again today, and absolutely recommend him for the job!

I Honestly would use Alpha shredding group again based solely on the tow truck driver RICH. I live an 1:30 minutes away, he showed up on time during rush hour and even helped me when I was struggling with cleaning out a few heavy tools from my truck. He was very personable and polite and an all around great person. He gave the company a good image in my eyes and even my neighbors. I’ll be using alpha again. 5/5 for RICH
Fast friendly service, honest fair price quoted and paid in cash, no hassle, no notary. And I am so happy to have my old van out of my driveway. Very easy process. The driver, Ethan, was right on time, skillfully backed his truck and trailer up my snowy driveway, managed to get the car started , freed it from the ice, loaded it and was on his way. All I had to do was hand him the keys, sign title, and take the cash. I was honest with phone rep about my car's condition, picked up when the driver called, had my paperwork ready to go.I received the price I was quoted on the phone.
I received an offer form Peddle.com for $600 for my car with a bad transmission. Offer was made and accepted. Alpha Shredding driver showed up and did not follow policy by informing me the offer was changed to $375 because my cat-converter was "after-market". I doubt this since I've been the owner for 15 years. Even if this were true, it was not "missing", so their policy still would be to accept the vehicle as is. Driver lied several times and I believe was trying to lowball me so he could potentially pocket the difference. Very dishonest driver and company, IMO.
Great experience! The woman I spoke to over the phone to schedule my car pickup was absolutely amazing! She was friendly and very professional. The tow truck driver was also amazing. Super nice and made me feel very comfortable during the pickup of my car. Would definitely do business with them again!
From the phone call to pick up my car to the actual pick up everything was flawless. I forgot the woman’s name on the phone but super nice and helpful. The pickup of our vehicle was fast and on time and the tow truck driver (I believe his name is Chris) was excellent! Our driveway is no joke and he made it effortless. Thank you to everyone.
