I arrived at 7am on the dot thinking I would be in and out quickly but there were about 20 large trucks ahead of me. I got behind the vehicle ahead of me but the line was curled around itself and apparently I had jumped the sequence not knowing the procedure when so many vehicles are waiting. I got yelled at but stayed in place. Took me over an hour to get through. My apologies to those I unknowingly cut ahead of.
The process is pretty quick and easy. Taking 1 star off because if you are a resident they don't allow you to use a small dump trailer. You will have to unload it by hand at the dumpster. Even so, they did have employees to direct you on where to go and is still cheaper than renting a dumpster.
I had damge to my property from a subcontractor they hired. If it wasn't for KIM'S help I would have never bin able to collect on the claim do to no one answer there phone and the voice mail was always full. Kim gave me the number of the supervisor who eventually had the claims office whom I have bin calling for over two 2 weeks finally call be back. THANK YOU KIM FOR GOING ABOVE YOUR DUTYS AND HELPING ME OUT!!!!!
I was sent to the dump because the local Franklinville dump was closed due to illness. When I got to the dump I was informed I had to pay to dump what I could have dumped for free and 16 miles closer. It’s a shame with cost of taxes this would even be a conversation.
You stay in the car and they take the waste products out of your vehicle. The people there are nice and polite. You just have to be patient because the line is long and the are open to the public on certain days.
Take items that can't be recyled or trashed . Bring identification that you reside in county. They will direct you to labeled containers . Call for hours.
The line was a mile long they schedule for everybody to show up once a year with her household waste and they wasted a lot of people time, not the yard public employees fault they were working hard but politicians once again making terrible choices
Map took us directly there. The place is set up for large trucks. We found our way to the trailer we needed and unloaded our stuff. Quick and easy. No problem.
My first time going to this site. The people that helped me were very nice. There was a little bit of a line leaving the facility due to the payment process but it took maybe ten minutes total to get through this line. I was in and out in twenty minutes with a pick up truck full of material from a bathroom renovation. My bill leaving was $16.00.
Even with current pandemic, Gloucester Co household special waste collection day runs like clockwork. Staff has this down pat. Drive thru with your items in trunk, when you get to the site, they'll check your driver's license to make sure you live in Glo Co, weave your way thru line, pop your trunk & they take your waste. Line is long but it moves fast. If you don't like a little wait be there at start time.
Great team , extremely helpful pleasure to do business with this company. Never had a bad day here and anyone who has anything different to say besides these guys are awesome can't be taken seriously. If you doubt what I'm saying just visit them yourself. You won't regret it!
Place is great. Pack up your stuff in the truck and scale up and dump it within a few minutes. Get there either early as hell or during lunch time during the week. Saturdays they have different ones designated for certain things.
