Javed is the best. Honest, trustworthy and tells you exactly what you need. Prices are so reasonable. As a woman, I feel secure that he is not trying to sell me some unnecessary repairs, I have had some expensive experiences in other places. I would recommend his shop anytime.

Over the past two years, Javid has become our go-to mechanic for our entire family’s fleet of vehicles—Buick, Audi, Mercedes, Toyota—you name it, he’s worked on it. He’s honest, professional, and incredibly courteous every single time.

This auto shop is by far the very best I have dealt with, while most mechanics have above average idea on cars, it’s a little concerning that most are fraught with deceits just to upcharge you, rip you off or worse yet, fix your complaining problem but damage something else on your car to bring you back to their shop for “more fixes->more money” (take this from a guy who used to live in Newark and has had my fair share of mechanics/autoshops in the hood). Javed was honest and transparent with me from the get go, unassembled my front bumpers, found the issue (created by another auto shop) and discussed with me how we were going to fix it, reassembled the parts back to a drivable state (without charging for his time/diagnostics), called Mercedes to let them know what the problem was-technicians there told him if was possible to fix, but he insisted on parts that he needed and ordered those which took days to deliver, called me to come in when he received the parts from Mercedes, unassembled the front bumper, fixed the electrical/mechanical issue once and for all. And unlike most greedy unscrupulous autoshops, charged me a very nominal fee for his labor not accounting the stress he went through my first visit. His demeanor may be straight but trust me, this man laughs and smiles more once he gets to know you. His staff/colleagues are also courteous. I cannot recommend this place enough, when all others had given up on my Mercedes Benz, he fixed it easily, can’t be happier
I’ve been a loyal customer to Nutley Auto Care Inc. for many years. All I can say about Javid is that he is very attentive, professional, & knowledgeable of his craft. From fixing my flat tire to any major repairs done on my SUV, he’s my Go To Mechanic.

What I love the most about Nutley Auto Care Center Inc. is that I know it's a business I can trust. And that's important to me because I don't know much about cars, and I've been deceived by more mechanics than I can count. That's unfortunately true.
My Rav4 is over 16 years old. I first went to Nutley Auto out of desperation, because I had just had a bad experience with a Lyndhurst mechanic who tried to cheat me. According to that guy, my rear brakes needed work. At Nutley Auto, Javid (owner) told me the brakes were fine, but several other parts were literally broken in pieces! Of course he showed them to me. But how did the other guy not see this?? Javid put my Rav4 back together, and it's 16 years old but driving like new. I love my Rav again.
I can think of many more instances where the owner, Javid, has proven himself trustworthy and a talented mechanic, but here's my favorite. My Rav had suddenly gotten noisier, so he took me for a test drive. When we were finished, he said, "There's nothing wrong. The sound is coming from the tires, but your tires are good, so don't worry about it." He could have made anything up and I would have believed him and paid for it! In fact, another mechanic had told me the tires needed replacing, but that was over a year ago and everything has been fine. Javid was right. And truthful.
I could give many more examples about Javid's talent, honesty, and caring for his customers as well as our cars, but I know people skip long reviews and everyone needs to know how great this business is!

By the referral of a friend and after calling several places to inquire about getting my brakes done, I finally decided to get my brakes done here. As I dropped it, it was made pretty clear between Javid and I that I would mainly be looking to get brakes and rotors replaced for the front axil. Within the hour later, I received a call back from him stating that he test drove the vehicle and he noticed between 60-70 mph he would notice the vehicle pulling to one side.
Aside from him noting such a issue, in my mind I’m thinking how that’s a pretty fast speed to be doing a test drive and also wondering why it was necessary to test like that considering we already understand that we’re already changing the brakes and rotors, but ok, as long as I’m getting it fixed I don’t suspect anything will go wrong. Later on in the day, I happen to notice that as I’m at the stop sign or stop light now I’m stepping on the gas pedal and it won’t go forward. Instead, the engine is revving and not going anywhere. I called him back same day to let him know and he said to bring it back in for him to look at. After bringing it in, he test drives it and right away denies any responsibility for how this started when the problem didn’t start until I brought it in and “took it for a test drive”. With my car being considered a sports car, I understand The inclination to want to take it out for a test drive but now that the problem is so bad that I can barely drive it It’s really a matter of dealing with The after result of your “test drive” So I can get my car back in regular driving condition, Otherwise, why would I bring my car in to get brakes done? If I personally had a transmission problem, Why would I jump to try to get my brakes fixed first when the transmission is a more serious problem? That’s insane. I only started having this issue after bringing it here and I’m pretty disappointed that now I have to go through my insurance company to try have them resolve this issue. God knows I can’t believe I have to experience this but I’m going to do my best to get this resolved!
Took care of me on short notice. I have an older car that isn't made anymore. I know he can help me keep it running for a long time now and it won't Nickle and Dime me. Other places were complaining that my car was older... Saturn are cars too! Prices are competitive - THANK YOU!
Javid Khan is a first rate mechanic. He has a vast knowledge with foreign and domestic cars. I've known him for many years; repaired/tested my Hyundai cars and patiently explained his work. Mr Khan is a courteous and friendly gentleman. I've recommended him to all who ask. Thank you.

Hit a pothole in Nutley and this place was the closest. I am always cautious ⚠️ of going to new car repair shops, but had no choice.
The owner was friendly knowledgeable and very fare. Paid less than what I would have paid if I went to the guys I know! Maybe I don't know them that well ?

Crooks! Very poor quality of work. Very expensive costs. I had to go back after my car was repaired and paid in full to hear that the issue couldn't be fixed!
Also had to put a deposit down just to start work on the vehicle, this the only shop I've ever experienced that.
They have a defensive attitude issue.

My car had a flat. Team here was really understanding and waz able to accomodate. The tire is a non standard tire so got a detailed recommendation with good estimate. Really liked how team went above and beyond to find affordable option. Would totally recommend this place if you have car troubles.
I have been going to Nutley Auto for 10 years. I drive for an hour just because I know the job will be done correctly from the first time. Entire staff is extremely knowledgeable.
I found the mechanics to be very knowledgeable of foreign and American cars. The owner is patience and take his time to explain things to you. The owner should be proud of his staff. If they are working on a car they acknowledged you and I like that. I've been to places where they just keep their head under the car and you just wait. I also find his rates to be fair and reasonable.
The owner Javid Khan, is honest, trustworthy and courteous. Great service. Lower prices than any dealer and car is ready when promised. I've recomended him to my friends and family and that agree with my comments.
Had an emergency on Dec.22,2018 when my car would not start. Although Mr. Kahn was very busy, he agreed to fix the car that same day. He replaced the alternator, battery, belt pulley and belt. Honest, reliable, and courteous, he's the best. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else.
Needed a new Mechanic because "Pete" retired. I asked around and I was told that Nutley Auto not (the Kia Dealership) is very Good and reasonable. My sons girlfriend had an issue with her car and we brought it there. They kept in touch with me and explained the problem. The work was done in time and the price was fair. I found my new Mechanic!
Awful! Went to get the pictures for my insurance. Called and was told to come at 1PM. Showed up at the agreed upon time. Apparently, I spoke to "someone else" at the garage and they didn't have time today. Asked if I could come back first thing next Saturday and was told that this was acceptable. Return at 9 A on Saturday only to find the person who can do it is " not in yet". What ?!?
Called someone else and went there. Don't waste your time.
