I was in a precarious financial situation when I went to Nutley Kia (with NY tags) to get a slow leak fixed that I had been putting off for nearly a year. In Brooklyn, where I live, you can pull up to a "fix a flat" place, receive service, and be on your way in less than 30 minutes, for an average of $25.
I was at Nutley Kia for over an hour and a half, and it cost me $47.63 to get a slow leak fixed. After noticing that I need new tires, the sales guy went into a hard sales pitch, pointing out how they only do a 'soft check' to qualify me to buy a new set of tires on credit,' that I had already told him three (3) times that I cannot afford right now. To add insult to injury, they broke the sensor off the tire, and told me that they "found it in the tire." That sensor was working when I got there. It is the only reason that I finally went to this store, after watching it for a year. I monitor that sensor, along with my oil % on a daily basis, because the car burns oil, and that tire leaks air. So these guys broke the sensor when I refused to buy new tires from them. I WOULD HAVE bought the tires if I could afford them, but I CANNOT right now ... so now I have ro replace a $60 sensor. I’ve coming to Nutley Auto service for many times. Service Advisor Ms. Debbie Cedeno was helping me with my issue.
I started to see CHECK ENGINES LIGHT ON then tech scanned for code, scanner stated misfire on cylinder #2 . Tech swapped spark plugs between #2 and #4 and clear med code. Then after few weeks I saw CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON again. Also when I started vehicle starts to shake having difficulties turning on. I called service again and tech did check my car, he said I NEED NEW BATTERIES (about $800) ALSO WAS ADVISED TO ADD NAME BRAND GAS LIKE SUNOKO AND SHELL.
They didn’t fix anything even I’m under warranty.
I went to different Kia service dealer to explain what happened at Nutley Auto service and after they diagnosed my car,they told me I DO NOT NEED NEW BATTERIES AND DO NOT NEED NAME BRAND GAS . MY ENGINE WAS FAILING SO I NEEDED NEW ENGINE SO THEY REPLACED IT!!!
Owner of Nutley auto was insisting to change batteries and name brand gas but I felt they are lying!! I won’t go back there anymore.
Hi. I would like to share my experience at Nutley Auto. The person I needed to link to was the one who heard my frustration and came to the rescue. Mr. Landon was a dead end for me. Joelle, stepped in and took complete control of the situation. It is be cause of her that I am in my car driving without a care in the world. I mean it. She kept the lines of communication open via text and phone line. She informed me of what to expect during the time that my car would be in her care. She informed me that it would be too long a wait for me to sit there until they were done. She also informed me to call my warranty to see if they had a loaner car. Lo and behold, they did! When I came to drop my car off, she was busy with another customer but made time to inform me of her time with the customer she already had. That made me feel just as important. She was calm, polite, informative, and knowledgeable. She is my She-ro. I had previously called my warranty company and requested other accredited shops because of my experience with the first person, but when Joelle caught wind of my frustration, she calmed my demeanor and assured me, she will take care of it and tgat is exactly what she did. She is one of a kind. Even if she had an identical twin, there will never be another Joelle. She made my day and I decided to stick with Nutley Auto. I appreciate her. Please let her know, how she changed the shape of my world. YOU ROCK JOELLE!!

Very reliable auto shop, excellent service, the service advisor Colleen Walsh was very helpful and professional, they provide everything to keep your car in excellent condition.
I use them to service my 2019 Kia Sportage. Colleen in the service department has helped me many times including today and she is always friendly, courteous and professional. Very reliable and the reason my car is still going strong. I like that they use current technology via texting to keep you informed about your car and recommended services which you can accept or decline.
I had a great experience at Nutley Auto Tire and Service. I replaced all four tires, and the price was fair. The service was excellent, and Colleen was especially kind and helpful throughout the process. She made everything easy and stress-free.

They get 1 star because I cannot bypass it for my review. I had a horrible experience today at this place. I came in because my tire pressure was low, asked if they can check it out and see if I needed a repair because I thought it was pinched. Angelica said it would be about two hours because I did not have an appointment. I asked her if anyone can take me home since I was a few minutes away from home. She said she would find out. About an hour after I see two employees going around with my car, I figured they were checking for other possible services needed. I never asked them for a full inspection. Angelica never called me back like I was told she would. I was there for over 4 hours!!! This is horrible customer service. I will never ever go back to this place again !
Best auto service in town. Friendly and most competent staff. Got my special order run-flat tires for Alfa Romeo in less than 24 hours. Good price and excellent work. Am very pleased with their work. Needed two tires (drivers side) thanks to NJ pothole.
Michelle and Anne at Nutley tire made my experience a great one! I had a unique set of circumstances and they worked within them to get me the tires I wanted and installed in a timely manner. The service was great, and the prices are very fair. Would not hesitate to recommend them.
They fit me into the schedule on a Saturday when I called at 11:30 am. They had the tires my Nissan needed on site. And I got friendly, cheerful service. More importantly, I heard the mechanic work with someone else there to arrange their car service priorities to fit their budget but keep them safe. I appreciate that they worked with that client because I have made tough life decisions like that myself.
I didn't like the way they work there! I went there for a flat tire service. My tire had nail in it and I didn't want to remove it unless I'm at a service center to fix it right away. They first have to get you registered on there system even if you won't do anything with them and then they will start looking for what you want. Also their prices are higher than the usual. They assumed that the tire could be changed just for having a nail! I went to another shop and fixed the tire for just $30.
If you don't care about your money go there and pay more than what you should!
