Brought my car in just after 5pm with a flat tire. They close at 7pm. I felt bad I was coming in so late without an appointment. Mardy greeted me and took all my info and asked some questions about what the issue was. I thought I had probably picked up a nail in my travels and needed a new tire. Turns out I had a faulty sensor and I broke the tire valve when I tried to fill it with air. Everything was checked out and replaced. Was done in just under an hour. I was relieved that it was such a positive experience with this crew. I have been to other facilities where that wasn’t the case. Will return in the future and recommend this facility to others Much appreciated

👻George was very professional and knowledgeable of what needed to be done and guided me through all options available without any pressure. He also listened to a raw draft of my music I created in their lobby 😅 I figured I do something productive while waiting ✋️🤷🏻‍♂️ Overall Highly recommended! Oh... and I met a fellow Music Producer who was very kind over there, small 🌎 😌🤝

Never take your vehicle to this location. My car was damaged while in their care, and I was given four different explanations about how the damage occurred. The engine and multiple other components were affected, yet no one took accountability. Dealing with their insurance adjuster was extremely frustrating. They attempted to cut corners by proposing low-quality repair solutions instead of properly restoring my vehicle. They also refused to pay for necessary diagnostic inspections to determine the true extent of the damage. In addition, they significantly undervalued my vehicle and attempted to pressure me into signing a release form. When I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, this location refused to work with the BBB. This business lacks professionalism, transparency, and basic customer care. I would not recommend their services.

I had gotten a flat tire and upon arrival it was revealed I had 2 flats. I was able to get seen even though I didn’t have an appointment. The staff was able to take care of the issue. I intersected with George who was able to answer all my questions and explain the issue. Problem was fixed in a timely manner

I brought my car in late Saturday after Christmas with a flat tire they were helpful Fast and friendly service, Gabriel at the front desk was very helpful.

Marcy & Thurlow were amazing!!! They were courteous, and kind, told me exactly what I needed done, gave explanations of anything I did not understand and were respectful of my time, as I had a waiting appointment. I have been having my cars serviced here for over 20 years and the service just keeps getting better!!! They have kept me on the road through out my journey!!! Thanks Firestone for consistently being there for me!!!!

I’ve been a customer here for years. The staff at Firestone Montclair are always attentive and incredibly helpful whenever I need to have my car serviced. I never have to wait too long for the service to be complete and they are honest about what services I should prioritize.

I woke up with a near flat tire on my Nissan Rogue. Went over to Montclair Firestone around 7:20 and Mardy (very nice guy), got me in within 15 minutes. They pulled out a nail, and I was on my way.

We will never be coming back to a Firestone after the experience we had today. Took a truck in to have the back tires swapped over to our own snow tires around 10 AM- dropped it off and was told to come back later. At around 1 PM, we got a phone call telling us that "They can't put the snow tires on because they're old and there's a state law that says they can't do it." After some very quick investigation, we found out that there is no such law in NJ. We called back and asked for the exact law/statute (which they obviously could not provide because they were lying), and they fumbled over their words until finally admitting that it was "just a company policy". Employee here is bold-faced lying to customers, making excuses, and then dodging conversation about the topic when we came back to pick up the truck (ducked and ran into the shop bays when we came to talk). We will never be coming back here and will be telling everyone we know to steer clear of this shop as well! Also- we found a shop nearby that did it the same day faster, cheaper, and with MUCH better customer service.

I always use Firestone because their service is amazing! They are honest and explain the needs of your vehicle thoroughly. And it doesn't matter when I take my vehicle to be serviced, I seem to receive some type of special(s) they are running. George is usually my service advisor, in the past it was Cesar, both gentlemen are very nice.

Place was very busy but managed to squeeze me in to replace a tire. Really needed use of the car, so this was great for me. Warranty covered the tire. What’s not to like? Very good service.

Thank you so much for the oil change it was done within the hour. No pressure to get anything else done immediately and they really work with you to make things happen. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my car extremely reliable!

Overall, great service, professional staff, and a hassle-free experience. I really appreciated how they treated me as a walk-in and still delivered quality work. I’d definitely recommend Firestone for alignment services!

i've been going to firestone in montclair since 2017 or so, and through the years these guys have always had my back and my cars. even when i moved away for several years, marty remembered me when i came back! they'll explain everything to the extent you need to hear it and take into account pricing and options. they're great at what they do and kind to boot. definitely make an appointment, as they're always in demand but don't worry, they're efficient!

My go-to for tire & alignment. They will get you in and out faster than repair-oriented shops. Staff is more responsive and helpful than other chain locations, not pushy with dales. Recommend the lifetime alignment product, pays for itself after a couple potholes.

Experience was great! I know somewhat what was wrong with my car, but they are definitely the experts. They helped me understand what was wrong with my car and fixed it, of course. I will definitely come back for future maintenance services.

My family & I joke that it must be a requirement for Firestone employees to be the best. I moved from Parsippany and reluctantly left that Firestone.. only to find the same pleasant experience working with the Montclair crew! Marty, George, Felix… they all take great care, set you at ease (answering any & all questions) and the jobs are finished super timely.

I came in for an alignment and Mardy took amazing care of us. He went over everything in detail, explained the process clearly, and even answered all of my husband’s questions over the phone without rushing. He was gentle, patient, and straight to the point. Had a slow leak. They extensively searched for it in the tire but couldn’t find the issue. They continued searching and located a crack in the rim. They suggested trying to repair the rim first as that might have been the best cost option. After some further analysis they called back and said they didn’t think the rim repair would hold and that I should replace the wheel. They worked with me to get a great price on an OEM wheel. At this point I was out of town but they held on to my car for me until I was back. Overall great service!

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I scheduled an appointment for tire installation after my tires were delivered. Despite arriving on time, my car sat for over 2 hours without any updates. I was told it would be serviced before closing, but after multiple inquiries, it still hadn't been started. My appointment was for 2pm closing is at 6 pm. It’s just 2 tires. The lack of communication and organization was frustrating, especially when the manager seemed unaware of my tire's status. Another customer left after waiting over three hours for a simple tire pressure check. I will not be using Firestone again. Definitely had a much better experience at Mavis. Zero stars.

Brought my vehicle in for an oil change, tire rotation, and alignment everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The staff especially Felix was courteous, explained the process clearly, and got me back on the road in good time. Appreciate the thorough service and attention to detail. Will definitely return for future maintenance!

Having to get work done on your car is always a stressful (and costly!) situation, but the team at Firestone made today’s experience very easy. Felix was super polite and professional. He communicated with me throughout the process to let me know the progress of my services. The facility is very clean and organized — it’s evident that they care about making their guests comfortable. Everything was taken care of in a timely manner — I know my car was in good hands!

So grateful to Mardy and the entire team at Firestone Complete. I had a slow leak in one of my tires this week, and it got to the point where I knew I had to take care of it. Called them in the morning, and they made sure to fit me in and turned it over quickly. Changed my whole weekend with my kids. Very fair price point, too. Truly grateful you’re in our neighborhood!

I visited this store looking for tires few weeks back, unfortunately the size that I needed was located in a different store location. The service manager *Mardy Martin took his time to locate the store that could help me the same day . Thanks to him I was able to continue with my schedule trip back to Florida...
