I’ve had two tires patched by Maplewood Tire. Both times they were quick and fair with the pricing. They didn’t try and upsell me on a set of new tires, which is always appreciated
I had a screw in my tire with a slow leak. I did a drop off in the morning on a Saturday and it was ready less than two hours later. The repair was only $45. Quick service at a very reasonable price- what else can you ask for. They might be my new mechanic in the area.
I love this shop. Been coming here for about 3 years now for my wife and father's cars (Subaru, Honda). The guys are friendly, happy to chat about your car, always prompt with taking a car in and getting it back, work is always well done. Literally zero complaints. Exactly what you want in a local repair shop.
I hate bad customer service, I can’t stand being treated like a burden. At Maplewood Tire, the moment I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile. That set the tone for a great experience. I didn’t feel like I was being a bother when I told them what I was experiencing. I asked them to test drive my car because I had an idea but couldn’t quite pin point the issue. They were so patient and knowledgeable, and told me the best time to bring the car in to be worked on. I pulled away from the shop feeling like my 2015 was a 2025. I highly recommend them for your tire and mechanical needs!

Be careful with this shop. Quoted and agreed on one price then doubled the price after they had my vehicle. Then after it was completed I took it to another shop for another issue and found the work was never fully completed. They never did it but still charged me. Might’ve been an oversight, might’ve been shady business. Either way, won’t be returning.

They don't take advantage of you, and they diagnose the problem right the 1st time. I drive from Belleville to get my car serviced by this shop because I don't trust other mechanics. They work with people as well if you don't have all the money for the repair.

I highly recommend Dominic and his team at Maplewood Tire. They are knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly - willing to explain in detail what are your car's issues with corresponding costs. They stand behind their work. They replaced my alternator a few months ago. Unfortunately, a part they used was defective. They replaced it without any hesitation, and ensured that I was satisfied with the results. Most importantly, Dominic is straight-forward and honest. These qualities are paramount especially as cars are becoming more complex and expensive to maintain.
They are straight to the point, they hustle, and are responsive (txting) and most importantly just get things done in a reasonable timeframe and price point. I hope to not have tire issues anytime soon, but I would go to them again. Based on all the construction in Maplewood, there is always a chance (e.g. nails, screws, etc,)
Great shop, with excellent customer service and friendly staff. Definitely recommend them to locals but also worth the trip out. Dominic and his team are great guys. Female customers are treated with respect and never any condescending tones which is important/necessary cause many places don't offer this comfortable respectful environment.
Went to MTCCC for the first time with my 2013 X5. They took my car right away and the service was personable and approachable. They remembered I needed my car back by a certain day and worked with that in mind. Here’s the best part…one of the lead mechanics, Andrew could not figure out one of the electrical issues, so we agreed I should pick up the car and bring it to the dealership ($$$$). But before I did he called back and said he’s been thinking about it all night, found a part online and wanted to try it…he had already order the part without charge to me and is gonna give it a shot. Fingers crossed.
Came here for an alignment on 7/30/23, dropped my car off opening time, 8am...ended up being roughly around 8:20. By the time the staff showed up and people were waiting outside. Throughout the day, I didn't receive any update, so I called around 12:30, thinking they'd be done with my alignment by then... Tim, who answered the phone, said, "I told you there was only one person doing an alignment, and there were two people ahead of me." He was quite rude in doing so when I asked, and no, he hadn't told me that prior. I ended up missing a day of work because I didn't get my car until a little after 5 pm.
My girlfriend and ai arrived at 4:30 half an hour before they closed because they still hadn't called, so we decided to show up. Tim was at the desk and said my car was almost done "he's" still working on it, not knowing he was the guy working on my car. It was my first time at the shop and clearly it wasn't a good impression.
Opened late, no update on my car at all! Tim was so dramatic in describing something that was up with my car. I know my car, and I certainly wouldn't want to be charged any fee to look at whatever problem he was trying to tell me my car had. I can go to my mechanic Seepersad Auto Care to check whatever issue he heard.
I would not be returning.
The crew here is very reliable.
Tim, Andrew, and Dominic have been really helpful and have helped keep my Subaru running well as it ages less than gracefully.
I feel like they charge fair prices and deliver exactly what they promise you without making you feel like they are sneaking in repairs that don't need to be done
Noticed a gash on the side of my tire in the morning and immediately called Maplewood Tire on recommendation from my husband. They found the specific tire I needed and said they’d get it the same day, quoted me a reasonable price, and had it ready (same day!) when promised. They also noticed some other issues in the car and kindly notified me, and didn’t try to up-sell me when I told them my husband would handle those issues - they just gave me all the details we needed to know to solve the issues properly. They are an extremely friendly, professional crew! I will be going back to them every time. Thank you, Maplewood Tire!
My delivery van had a flat tire and a bent rim. I had it towed to their shop late on a Saturday after hours. They got me back on the road by Monday early afternoon at an affordable price. The van runs and sounds better than it did before the flat. Thank you Maplewood Tire.
Excellent service!! I called to have my oil changed and was given an appointment right away. I was able to get my oil changed, tires rotated and one tired needed to be plugged. I got new wiper blades and replaced the battery in one of my key fobs, all for less than $200. If I had gone to the dealership, it would have been way over $200. It's so comforting knowing that there are still honest mechanics in the world!! I feel good taking my car here being a woman and knowing I will not be taken advantage of ?

Extremely nice people. Amazing customers service. I’m a new car owner, they could’ve taken advantage of my lack of knowledge but they didn’t. They were Honest about what could and couldn’t be done and whether the issue was something that needed immediate attention ( which It did not) This will be my go to place whenever an issue arises.

I have had my vehicle serviced here once. The mechanics were honest and knowledgeable. They didn't suggest anything 'extra' to increase the price. Additionally, I have called with questions regarding my car operations and they gave FREE advice over the phone. When comparing them with other mechanic, in regards to experience, I would rate them highly and definitely would recommend them to a friend. I spoke with David on the phone and he was nice and patient. THUMBS UP!!
