Raquel is so professional, and loves to help . She made my experience so fast and easy . Parts are always correct. Everytime I come to autozone on Springfield Ave in Irvington, I wait to get my parts from her . Very kind and and helpful ASK FOR RAQUEL !!!!

This store is a mess and takes forever to check out . Also their availability for items in stock online vs in store is completely incorrect.

I had a very pleasant interaction with Jean. I was having an issue with my key fob battery and I also needed a diagnostic reading because my check engine light was on. Although he told me that he wasn't allowed to physically change or open key fob he took an extra step to play a video and guide me along the way. He was able to run a scan on my battery and assist me with getting my key fob working. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and took the time out to help me.

Took a battery I paid for a warranty on, Once founding out the battery was dead. I took it back to get the replacement battery but they didn't have none at the time and was told to come back the next day for the battery, The next day came and went to pick up the battery it was the same battery I took to get a new one, Thought it was the new battery that they fixed it but didn't and the cashier before I walk out told me is that you and pointed at the battery and I said yes. Pick it up and he checked in the computer before walking out and said the battery was good. Went home put the battery in the car and went to start the car, Dead battery. I shook my head and was like how do they have people working like that,(SMH) and still today never took the battery back cause of feeling disrespected. Maybe one day when I get a chance I'll take it back to get my warranty battery I paid for hopefully not go through the same issues I went through before but other then that I never had a problem with the store and I been shopping there over years!

1228- 40 Springfield Irvington NJ had a very disappointing experience with client services. I called to purchase a part and was left on hold for 30 minutes. When someone finally answered, I explained that I needed a control arm for my car. Instead of assisting me, I was told to wait again, with no explanation or update. After holding for several more minutes, I ended up hanging up out of frustration. This level of service is unprofessional and unacceptable.

Brought the AC recharger only to find out I purchased a broke product brought it back in because I never left the parking lot and can’t get my money back because I chose the email option to get my receipt and I never got the email, so you got Some money out of me and you’ll never get it again thanks for nothing during the heat wave, The longest wait times ever you would’ve thought I was in the DMV

Raquel was so nice. This was my second time dealing with her I literally called the store and asked for the nice young lady with the locs and man was I happy I did . See I had warranty on a battery I purchased from there last year. She knew I had to take a uber so she had that bad boy waiting for me IN AND OUT . Anyway the first time she got all my stuff for me I didn’t even ask her to do that . I was like aweeee thx so much you are so nice . Hence why I called and specifically asked for her. Anyway when You call up there ask for Raquel she helpful and nice. No shade towards the store just saying whenever I ask her to help me SHE GOES OVER AND BEYOND thx Raquel girl you ?? in REAL LIFE? (sorry if I spelled ya name wrong.

Went are there for a part gave a person at the counter as a part number and they purposely would leave a digit out or a dash out just so that they didn't have to go and actually look for the part it was painfully obvious that they didn't want to help me because I'm a different race than them very poor customer service

Went into Auto Zone to replace my car battery. I walked into the store no one greeted me or said hello. A black man wearing glasses named Alexis Ruben who rang me up didn’t greet me either. I asked him how long would this battery last me he completely lied and said “5 MONTHS that’s why most customers buy the most expensive one.” And I couldn’t believe it bc I went into another Auto Zone earlier that day and they said the battery should be able to last me 2-3 years depending how well I take care of my car. (That location didn’t have the battery I needed in stock which is why I had to go to the Irvington store) So not only did Alexis lie, but he also did that primarily bc I’m a woman and he thought he could pull a fast one on me and trick me into buying the more expensive battery. (Which I DID NOT DO) As he was installing my battery he FAILED to clean off the corrosion that was on it which was the main reason why my car wouldn’t start and kept dying. But Alexis clearly didn’t care enough to do that. He just swapped out the old battery for the new and left. He was completely unprofessional, a liar and doesn’t care about helping customers at all. Whoever reads this beware of getting assistance from him! And to Auto Zone’s management you guys need to do better with training your employees on how to treat their paying customers! This is highly unacceptable and could’ve been easily avoided. I am extremely furious bc not only did my car die AGAIN on my way to class later on that day. I had to get a jump start from a stranger who said the man that installed your battery should’ve cleaned off the corrosion and tighten my terminal which was left loose. I went to Auto Zone Union instead and they cleaned off my corrosion they also gave me a new shim terminal for my car and installed it for me! They were very helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond for me unlike the Irvington location. With that being said I will never come back to this location again and I WILL be taking this matter to corporate bc this was highly unacceptable and a complete waste of my time. The manager named Shamir was also useless apparently he doesn’t even know how long a battery in a car is suppose to last?? Like that’s insane idk who hired these people but Auto Zone Irvington you guys need to do better!

I place an order online. The staff went above and beyond to find the product. Once I was notified they located the product I went to the store ready for pickup. After using the scartch solution on my vehicle as directed. I was amazed by the results. The product I used was Meguiar's Scartch Eraser Kit.

On November 26, 2023 around 6pm, I went to Autozone to return a product. When I walked into the auto zone there was one person in front of me so I was happy because I was in a rush to go somewhere. I waited for an unreasonable amount of time considering there were two registers open and I was the only person in line. After waiting, I decided to tell the attendant Dianne that I had a simple return. She gave me a mean stare and said “I’ll be with you when I’m done, and then kept assisting her customer. As a customer waiting patiently, I expected better customer service by acknowledging my wait or at least apologizing for the delay. I was waiting for An unreasonable amount of time.

Dereemus and Nathalie gave AMAZING service today. Dereemus have a natural gift when dealing with customers!! He fast and very knowledgeable MAKE HIM MANAGEMENT ASAP. Nathalie was a pleasure!! Her patience is unmatched. She took about 15 calls and still made sure I had what I need. The 2 together were a perfect team!! Though you had management on-site Dereemus is running the place with professionalism and great customer service. Thank you both for your help!!

This auto zone is roughly 45 minutes away from my house there are a few within 10 minutes I will be returning to this particular auto zone for all of my future automotive needs because of the customer service experience I received from Ramona and Ricky. They were both friendly and knowledgeable. Their customer service was impressive, and the speed Ricky was able to complete the task was efficient

Such great service! Alex helped me with wiper blades and gave me an impromptu lesson on how to take old ones off and put new ones on. Alex was smart, personable and definitely knew about the products. Great customer service!

The people in this store are AWESOME especially i need to reconize Emily she has help me tremendously and is very profesional and attentive every time i would walk in they are ALL great don't get me wrong but i always look for her upon entering the store High 5 to all staff at this store keep up the great job help people i will always come.

My experience at Autozone this morning was Excellent. Even though it was busy, the store manager, Diane C. calmly handled every customer's needs in person and over the phone. Her multi-tasking and attentiveness skills are on point. Charles went above and beyond with the battery issue I was having and went on teaching me more about when to change a battery, what signs to look for etc. Very good team, Keep it up!!!

Cashier, polite, while I was paying, another guy asked her about, a darn large box lying next to me, (dang if I know. what it was) She was knowledgeable, asked him to open it and check and see, if it was what he could use, all the while, she is ringing up my things. Boom. I paid I left... hats off to her. (it was 80+ degrees outside.)

Tamika was very unprofessional, and took customers before me. She was disrespectful to her very "professional' Manager. Overall, the store was great, but she left a stink in the atmosphere. She needs to be spoken to regarding customer service.

My daughter needed to order a starter last Sunday so we decided to go to AutoZone on Springfield Ave. There are several locations, but we choose this I one because it was closer. I went on the website to check their hours for Sunday Morning which was 8am. Which was perfect because I had to be at work by 9a. When we arrived at 7:55am several cars were waiting in the lot. 8:05a we tried to enter but no one was there. It was extremely cold too. One of the people waiting outside was an employee! He had been there waiting when we arrived. Needless to say the Manager finally arrived by 820a. Once we all got inside the employee who had been waiting outside took care of our needs and we were on our way. They also give a 10% discount to Veterans. My daughter was happy about that!

I went there today to get my car battery charged. Unfortunately it wasnt able to receive the charge from the battery charger. However that wasn't the big issue. The big issue is the rude customer service i received from an employee. She tried to belittle my intelligence by catching a nasty attitude while I asked questions regarding the issue with my battery. I will never return to this store again. Btw the same parts are more reasonable at advance auto parts for the price.

Bought a battery and returned it less than an hour because I didn't need it and was denied my refund. Worker there steals parts and him and this old Caribbean man resells them for a good deal but it's annoying because when they aren't around and you go to the store it says your parts are in stock but it's no where to be found because it was already stolen.
