I had an appointment at the Firestone on St George Ave in Linden NJ. I wanted an oil change and the TPMS light was on so I needed a new sensor in one of my tires. After waiting for 2 hours, I was told my car was ready, but , I needed a new battery and one of my tires was worn and need to be replaced Well, I purchased that battery elsewhere and it was approximately 1 1/2 years old with a 3 year warranty, so I said I would take it back to where I bought it and have them check it out, When the associate printed out my suggested repairs and the cost, I saw it included 4 new tires. When I got home, I saw that these tires, purchased from the same Firestone have 16,000 miles on them with a 64,000 mile warranty and I have an additional roadside warranty. This was never mentioned to me in store. When I brought it to where I bought the battery from, they said battery is good and I saw him test it and he showed me the results. I filled out the survey that Firestone emailed me saying my dissatisfaction. The next day Marcellis who is the manager called me and left a message. When I got in my car to go to work that morning, my TPMS light had gone on again. I called Marcellis back and told him what had happened. He told me to bring my car in the next day at 1 and he would personally take car of me. Brought the car back on 2/20 and spoke to Marcellis. Approx. 2 hours later, yes, you read that right, he came with the disconnected battery tester and said it tested the same. Now, he told me he was going to bring me out to my car when he tested the battery, and he did not. As I sat there waiting for what turned out to be 3 hours, I started to review my invoice that was emailed to me. This included an extremely blurry picture of the battery scanner and my old sensor they had removed. Next to the sensor it says right front tire, worn. It occurred to me that this meant that the sensor was worn and that it was the one on the right front tire. It also says battery required. Not the car battery as suggested, but the battery for the sensor! When I stood up to tell this to Marcellis, he said that you just need the keys and got me my keys. When he returned I told him my theory about the tire/sensor and he said "Yes, that is the way Firestone has us write it up. We have to put that on the line with the tires and the associate will explain to the customer what it means. We didn't say you needed new tires, did we? and I said yes, all four. He then said oh yes, you wanted me to check your tires. He repeated "we didn't say you need new tires, did we?" When he returned, he said "the tire are a 5, so the tread is OK, but they have cracking so , yes you would need all new tires" He then told me he could not program my sensors. They are all working properly, but he couldn't access them with his scanner to program them and he didn't know why. It must be my computer on my car and doesn't know where else I could go to get this fixed, other than the dealer. On 2/21, I went to Atlantic Tire in Colonia NJ at12 noon at 12:20 they scanned my sensors and programmed them, I was in and out in less than 40 minutes with no appointment and they were packed. Oh, and no charge. They will certainly have all my future business.

This store from technician to manager needs a class in customer service. They broke an item on my car during the oil change, made me drive the car 45 minutes with oil hemorrhaging from it, then because I AM A WOMAN, they told me it was transmission fluid!!!!! When i got the part repaired by my mechanic (which yes it is a known issue with the oil filter housing, but there are known solutions via properly torqued to the recommended specs, checked at 2k rpm’s for any leaks- which is the basic of doing an oil change on these jeeps clearly they did not even do the basics) but when the mechanic handed me the part, the Manager Tonya tried to tell me the oil filter housing has nothing to do with the oil change. That “i know it sounds crazy but it’s a completely different fluid”. WOMAN TO WOMAN you should be ashamed of yourself. I brought my car here to spend money on maintenance, not thousands of dollars in repairs and cleaning fees. Instead they took advantage of my wife and almost blew up my motor in the process. Sasha is a real winner too.. when my wife had enough sense to stick up for herself because she knew something was wrong- she told my wife to get out of the shop!!!! Keep your daughters, wives, girlfriends and sisters AWAY from Firestone. The train their technicians to deny any wrong doing for their service, kick you out after being nasty and rude, and then deny your claim because “they weren’t the ones to fix it”. WOULD’VE LOVED TO, IF YOU WOULD’VE OFFERED TO ACTUALLY LOOK AT IT!!! Attached you will see the “transmission” fluid Technician Sasha saw and turned us away based off of. And then also attached you will see the oil filter housing which according to Store Manager Tonya “houses a completely separate oil from the oil change”.

This location is great. When I called to schedule an oil change they gave me a quote ahead of time which is extremely nice. On the day of my appointment there was more work needed than I had planned but they provided me a brief education of my vehicle which was helpful.

Came here cause my car was shaking and sputtering, found out my coils and spark plugs needed changed, then also pointed out some tire things and helped me fix my trunk all in one go. Very good communication, humor is highly around so if you’re feeling a bit down I’m sure you’ll be brought right back up. They did their job perfectly to a T and Marcellis was the one who answered the call and provided me with support. Was very straight forward in the best way possible, but very assistive. I’d recommend this firestone to again friends, family and even strangers. They’ll get you in and out I can guarantee it.

The service was great, especially showing up on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment. The associates all nice were great explaining the different service options and recommendations and I did not have a long wait time.

I have been using this place on and off for past 10 years or more and had change to work with many managers. with every "new" one quality and customer service was declining to the point where I had to deal with corporate to have issues resolved. Past 2 visits were much more promising, Clearly there is new Management and attitude is a huge improvement compare to what it was. I am hoping this is a sign of positive change

I needed tires and Sasha was very helpful when I called. Sasha is very respectful and eager to get you the best prices. She updated on the status of my car and recommended what would best. She is amazing. Thank you.

Tanya was phenomenal she educated me on my maintenance of the car, help me with a near by towing company. Sasha and Marcellis were also amazing and helped me throughout my experience at Firestone Overalll…. Tanya Sasha and Marcellis deserve a raise for their amazing costumer service patience and professionalism. I’d rate them higher than 5 stars if I Could!!!

I had a pleasant experience. The staff was able to take care of all my needs and promptly communicated with me of the status for the entire duration they were in possession of my vehicle. My car drive great and I love my tires.

I had a very positive experience at this Firestone location. The front desk associate was courteous, professional, and made the entire process smooth and efficient. I was able to get in and out quickly, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend.

I had a new battery installed that cost almost 300 dollars. The battery had trouble starting the engine. The mechanic tested the battery and its charge was less than the 6 year old battery that was being replaced. I asked for a new fresh 100% charged battery. They said all they could do was charge the defective battery they had installed. Now I have to worry about when the battery will fail because either the battery was old, defective and can't hold a charge.

Firestone provided good service for my oil change and tire rotation and balancing. The work was done efficiently, and the staff was professional. Overall, a solid and reliable experience.

Work was done fast and the mechanic called me with recommendations for my vehicle. Firestone always has amazing coupons that helps me maintain my vehicle for less, I have a toyota 4 runner 2008 and I paid $43.50, not even half what a regular shop was charging me for a High Mileage Full Synthetic oil change (Including new filter) . You can never make me hate Firestone. Thanks Marcellis!

I had my 2023 Nissan Rogue serviced at this Firestone facility. They did an amazing job and communicated with me throughout the entire process. I really appreciated the transparency and great customer service.

Tanya and Sasha are the most amazing people I’ve had service with! I feel so educated, less scared and anxious about doing repairs to my car! I truly truly respect how much they care to show and include you in the process instead of just throwing numbers at you and charging your credit card. SCENE: The day before Thanksgiving. Actual angels work here. 😇 I rolled up mere minutes before closing in a desperate panic with a slow leak in my rear tire. Tomorrow, I'd need to drive 120 miles round trip for holiday festivities. Tomorrow, everywhere will be closed, and I'd be SOL for getting any sort of help and making the holiday. This Firestone SAVED ME! EVERYONE WAS SO AWESOME AND NICE AND ACCOMMODATING, despite me being "that person" who rocks up and needs service literally right as the doors are being locked. It would be easy and understandable for an employee to be grumpy in this situation, but there was NOTHING like that here, everyone was REALLY COOL and HELPFUL. I can't say enough GOOD things about the way everyone treated me and the work done -- fast, easy, well-done. The lady working the front was friendly and professional and awesome, and the bearded guy in the back did the work for me in an amazingly fast and careful manner. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for saving me a world of heartache and pain on a holiday. Everyone who works here deserves all the gratitude and all the appreciation and all the good things possible. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Went in for a very flat tire right at 7:00 opening. It was resolved quickly, and even though I forgot to request from them to look at the other tires, they did so on their own, and emailed me a car report. Professional, and honest service. I was expecting having to purchase a new tire, but it wasn’t needed. Breath of fresh air to take my car in and not feel taken advantage of.

I highly recommend this shop, as the staff is courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I bought a used Cadillac for my wife, and they inspected it for a fair price, and did the necessary repairs after I signed off on what work to perform. Also, the manager was very generous with her car care advice on a number of topics, such as tires and brakes and other vehicle maintenance matters.

Technicians were too lazy to look in the trunk for the wheel lock. I had to go there it get it myself! I was told that they looked and couldn’t find it! It was a total waste of my time and an inconvenience. Then claimed it was because I had personal items in my trunk as if that’s not what a trunk is used for. As a tire shop and mechanic, why don’t you have universal tools in the first place. The level of service gets decreasingly worse time after time. Last year the wrong size tires were put on my car. Totally incompetent. I’m never going there again. I asked for a manager and she just stood there like an idiot. Neil did give a discount.

He was professional, kind, and had me back on the road quickly. The level of customer service and quality of work were outstanding. You don’t often find that kind of genuine care and efficiency these days. Highly recommend this location and especially Neil for anyone needing reliable, honest service!

Neal did a great job they work with me. I couldn’t ask for a better fire stone on Linden Ave. it also I want to give a shout out to Mae helped me out tremendously as well. I love this place.

My experience with the management staff was pleasant and productive from my first phone call. The staff was patient with me and very informative. I given several choices based on what I asked of them. Then when I arrived at Firestone I was warmly greeted and quickly taken care of, since they were already prepared for my visit. I was truly amazed at how quick my vehicle was ready and before as promised. I would give this team Five Stars.

I recently came in for an oil change at Firestone and had a great experience. The service was quick, efficient, and done right the first time. What really stood out was the customer service. Neil and Ma were both outstanding. They were friendly, professional, and made sure I understood everything about my car’s service. It is rare to find a team that makes you feel both valued and taken care of, but they did exactly that. I will definitely be coming back here for future services. Highly recommend!

Fantastic alternative to bringing your car to a dealership and being overcharged for work that can be done at a more reasonable affordable price with same quality.
