I was referred to Gary by a friend to fix my 03' f550 6.0 and I scheduled an appointment and dropped my truck off. Gary asked me the problem and I told him what it was doing and he sent me a complete detailed estimate and I told him to do it and he kept me posted on what he was doing and I picked up the truck and it has been running great. As a Fleet Manager, and former shop owner, I highly recommend Luschers. They can always be counted on to find the problem, even tough to diagnose problems, provide fair and detailed estimates, and get the work done so my trucks can get back to work. To me, other than fixing the problem, honesty is number 1, and since the first time I've dealt with them, I always feel they are straight up and honest.

I have been dealing with Gary since he opened Luscher's Automotive on 4th Avenue since at least 2000. Gary and his mechanics are ASE Certified, easy to deal with, fair, trustworthy, and always willing and able to help if you have an emergency if at all possible. I have not hesitated to send any problem, any vehicle to Gary in the last 15 plus years. All maintenance, repairs, tires, wheel alignments, and inspections have been hassle free. I am pleased to recommend Gary and his shop without hesitation.

One of the coolest parts about their business is that after looking over your vehicle, their system will text you an electronic estimate: an itemized list all the problems they found as well as how much it will cost to repair. Then, you can check off what you want done.
I believe prices are comparable to other places, especially dealerships. In one case (changing sparkplugs), much cheaper.
But, the best part is nice, polite, communicative and honest staff.
My former Toyota dealership had none of these things, so Luscher's will be my new go-to mechanic!
My brakes stopped working completely on the highway. I almost crashed! I needed immediate repair and they were right on it. Only frustration was when I asked them to call a home phone not cell since I was going up into the Catskill Mts with no cellular service. There's no Internet either! I asked them to call to tell me the price before doing any work. I had to call to find out what was going on. Then AGAIN I called 10 minutes before they were closing. They never called me with any information about my car!!!! David said he called the cell. I told him all about not having service up in the mountains and to call the home phone! He said he emailed which I mentioned there was no Internet service too! So he had called the cell!!!!???? He said it went straight to voicemail so why didn't you call the next number that was the home phone then? Hence, with this lack of communication, they performed additional work on my car without consulting me first!!!! I didn't want to spend much fixing everything in a 22 year old car when I'm getting a new car in just 2 months! I just needed to get home from NJ to NY. Otherwise, I found the price reasonable considering the additional work and Gary the owner gave me a break with the labor charge. He was very nice and got my car repaired quickly. Very happy with what could have turned into having to stay in NJ somewhere waiting for my car. This disaster could have been so much worse but I was so relieved that my car was repaired and I was able to get home. Thank you Gary and your team!!!!
Great guys. I showed up there without an appointment, on a bind with old oil and a plug other mechanics couldn't remove, and got quite discouraged by the number of cars on the line to he serviced. When I told the manager my family needed my car that same day, he found a way to fit ne in their schedule and in a few hours it was ready. They're great guys who care about the customer. Furthermore, the quality of the services is overall great and they won't try to force unneeded repairs on you.
All I have to say is AMAZING service. My friend John had recommended Luschers and I’m very happy he did. From their customer service, to quick turnaround time, I can’t say enough about my experience. They’re absolutely great. Highly recommend!

Gary was great!! I brought my Ford LCF box truck there and Gary said it wouldn’t be a problem to work on. I’ve brought the truck to other mechanics who couldn’t work on the truck cause they couldn’t diagnose the problems with the truck without having the correct scan tools. Gary communicated with me everything he was doing to the truck throughout the whole repair process. He provided me a written estimate in which he came in a few dollars under what he quoted and fixed the truck. His communication and professionalism is top notch. As a fellow business owner in the service industry he’s what you should expect and receive. I will highly recommend Gary to anyone looking for an honest mechanic.
They were absolutely amazing! They were recommended to me by my neighbor, and it was the best thing that could have happened to me. He was super honest, and helpful, you don’t find that in a mechanic nowadays. I highly recommend! So grateful there are still good people in the world.
Gary and team are top notch. Honest mechanics who always identify the issue, communicate clearly to the customer (talk through options/explain problems thoroughly) and get you fixed and on the road promptly. I’ve been to a few other mechanics in the area, and have had “band aid” fixes, only for the issue to arise again. Bring it to Luschers, and it’s taken care of correctly. Can’t recommend them enough.

I've just moved into the area a year ago, and have had a problem with me vehicle twice in that time. Both cases i have taken my vehicle here and not regretted either one. They explain everything and more importantly you don't feel taken advantage of like most other mechanics.
