We purchased food last week about 250 dollars worth. We check the empanadas and it expire Jun 2025. It was purchased the last week of December. 6 months after expiration they still had it in their freezers. Never shopping at shop rite again you people are disgusting. BUYER BEEARE EXPIRED FOOD BEING SOLD HERE.

Bought this chop meat yesterday. $5.99 lb Brown meat mixed in!!! Come on and it’s not the first time.

I found a box of meat without a price tag and got it labeled at the meat department. At checkout, the weight on the label was clearly off. The cashier sent me to customer service, where the staff insisted it was correct without even checking. After waiting around 10 minutes — while my ice cream was melting — the manager (Stephanie) finally came. She weighed it herself but was reluctant to fix the issue. She first used the exact printed weight, then after I pointed out the missing tare, she only deducted 0.01 lbs, even though every other package I bought tared over 0.03 lbs. Poor service, long wait, and zero accountability. Definitely not the kind of experience I expect from ShopRite.

I have shopped here and ordered online many times, my issue is that when you order online, the prices change between your initial checkout and picking up the order. Item promos will not be applied, and the receipt layout is confusing to determine where those extra costs come in. I left feedback about this requesting a follow up and never heard back. This felt a little shady, keep your shopping in-person here and remember to check all your discounts at the register.

Wallington Shoprite, NJ: Huge parking lot and carts are parked just in front of the store which is very convenient. Store has variety of things and lot of customers in the store which is good. Reps at cash register are friendly, and helpful. But around the self service area the rep ladies standing around are not friendly and a bit jumpy and harsh/not polite. So I now prefer go to a register with a rep.

This is my go to ShopRite for my grocery runs. The store is always well kept, clean and stocked. The workers are friendly and helpful. ShopRite always has some great deals with their Price Plus membership. The digital coupons really add to the savings as well. Great prices on poultry and meat.

Seriously the shopping experience at ShopRite has been becoming worse by the day. My usual location is the Wallington one. For the most part the employees are all nice and friendly, however the amount of employees working is becoming less by the day. I just left the store and after filling my cart with groceries I had to check myself out due to only 1 express check out cashier being open. When I do small shopping I do not mind checking myself out, however when I do big shopping I would like to be checked out by a cashier. It’s already enough having to bag my own groceries. This is not the first time. Honestly, if I want to do all the work myself then I should get a paycheck or receive a special discount. A few weeks ago the same thing happened and thankfully a nice girl working decided to help out elderly people shopping do their self checkout. As someone who has been in several different positions in retail, I understand the cutting hours in stores, but when you cut too much you are only dis servicing your customers and hurting your business at the end of the day. People like me, who spend a lot of money many times a week on groceries eventually get tired and will choose to go somewhere else. Also, many times I find myself waiting 30-45 minutes at the deli counter because only 2 people are helping customers. Just ridiculous!!!!

Love this store. Organized, clean, friendly & professional cashiers/ staff, usually never a wait for checking out. Good parking.

I go out of my way to shop this shop rite. I find it a friendly environment. Sale items are always in stock and customer service is very nice if a rain check is needed.

I have been going to this shoprite for a couple of months and I suddenly see a difference in the employees, there used to be very friendly female reps around the self service area. But now any more, very unfriendly reps. Couple of weeks ago I bought things from the self serve booth and as I was walking out, my wheel got locked. First I thought the shopping cart broke. Suddenly a rep came running and asked me for the purchase receipt. I gave her and asked her why? She said the manager did not see my purchasing things and locked my wheel. I was so embarrassed and felt harassed. Then last week after purchasing from the self serve booth, before leaving I just double checked if I have taken everything. I heard a rep (a little bit big and black lady) screaming at me "you have taken everything you can leave the store". What is going on with these stupid women including the manager to lock the wheel just because she did not see me purchasing things? If she want to police around like this, remove all the self serve paying booths and make everything with reps where we purchase from them. Mostly I will not be going to this shoprite unless for small things. Better off go to the Lyndhurst one.

They have a business called Earth Care over on Sundays after 10:30 pm. I’m not sure what they do, but their truck makes a lot of noise (with large tubes going from the truck into the store), and the surrounding neighborhood can’t sleep. It’s very inconsiderate considering it’s a work night. I get they need to do some kind of maintenance when the store is relatively empty, but why can’t they do this on a Friday or Saturday when people don’t have to be up early for work the next day?

Would be 4 or 5 stars if they could get the deli under control. They have one of the slowest deli's on earth. Pre-order your deli order at a kiosk, great idea! Except 9 out of 10 times it never gets fulfilled in 30 minutes or less, or they have an excuse that they have no order.

The lady with the blue tooth headset at the self check out is a true professional. Today 15 mins prior to closing she gave my wife and I the best attention while multi tasking. The world needs more people like her. She single-handedly handled a rush with a positive and affirmative attitude.

I’ve been coming here since they opened. ShopRite Wallington does EVERYTHING right. All the staff is courteous & professional, always ready & willing to assist. The organization & cleanliness of the aisles far surpasses any other ShopRite in this area. Even when the staff is restocking, customers flow smoothly. Even the customers are friendly due to the superb shopping experience this store provides with the perfect temperature as well. The bathroom is always clean & stocked - a relief to see. The bakery items are always fresh & the deli staff is the friendliest I’ve dealt with. Keep up the great work.

Look and see what they have there. Prices are good. It is a bit expensive depending on what you buy The store is clean and modern it’s also huge. They have a huge selection of everything and the rotisserie chicken is very good. They have a Buffet and bakery. The floral section is also pretty big and has lots of options. Often carts are everywhere except for the areas they should be. When are done shopping, please return cart to the designated area. It is not safe to leave carts out anywhere in the parking lot. Please understand and this is due to safety. You would be driving and crashing into the carts. When are done shopping, please return cart(s) to the designated area. At the self checkout you can only scan one item at a time. The computer has to weigh each item to prevent theft. It's okay if they are taking precaution over at the self checkout sections. Please make sure to have the receipt. Please check the chicken, vegetables, the date (expired) on products before buying. Please make sure to have the receipt.

My cake looked so sad. I was too anxious to know the gender to decline this cake or take my business elsewhere. There was no effort put into this cake. No decorative frosting. The cake didn’t even have any flavor. One bite and all I tasted was the icing. In my opinion, the flowers should have been light colors, not dark colors for a gender reveal. Even the lettering was horrific. The … at the end was heading towards the sky. It’s not even. I asked for white lettering and they said no they can’t do that on a white cake. There’s a bunch of cakes with white lettering. They obviously don’t know what they’re doing. Everyone thought my cake looked so ugly. I don’t know how the bakery themselves think it’s okay to hand out a cake like this. I definitely won’t be returning.

ShopRite carry all kind of Groceries with Great Quality with good price and also friendly employees to serve better

This Shoprite is my favorite place in Wallington. It has fresh sushi with chopsticks, a hot bar with barbecue foods, and a salad bar with olives and more. The hot bar food isn't as good as in Englewood's ShopRite, but there are three tables to sit at, and it's clean!

The Wallington ShopRite is way better then the Lodi location and my experience was great. The store is clean and modern it’s also huge. They have a huge selection of everything and the rotisserie chicken is very good. They have a Buffett and bakery. There floral section is also pretty big and has lots of options. This is the best Inserra ShopRite that I’ve been to.

The absolutely most bland roasted chicken I’ve ever had. Meat doesn’t come flavored so if you are going to roast meat you need to add seasoning.

Mold on shredded cheese. Expired date printed on bag but the didn’t remove it from shelves. Take care everyone. Check everything. Looks like people are careless lazy staff here

This is by far the worst Shoprite I ever been too. Never have I ever written a review on a supermarket but this had to be done. There has been several accidents were I have brought home produce that has had mold. Same goes for some of the baked goods as you see on the photo below which was bought the day before. On top of all of this they never have any lines open and 8 people that work at self check out it seems like that never help when things are not working. Plus there has been 2 times when I special ordered a cake from the bakery and they both came out wrong. Basically the overall experience is far the worst out of any supermarket I've been too.

This is my favorite ShopRite! It is always clean and it has a nice big parking lot that we can park anywhere. They’re open late and the staff is very nice. I will never go to any other grocery store. Even in the middle of the snow store and the state of emergency, it is still open. The produce and everything is always fresh. They always have so much pineapples, it makes my wife happy :) other than that, I come here everyday since I love it so much!

This place is a disaster!! It's been going downhill since it opened. The self checkout is a joke. You can only scan one item at a time. The computer has to weigh each item to prevent theft. No other store does this. The onions are a giant breeding ground for fruit flies. Yuck! But the biggest problem...the grand finale...is the dozens pallets of boxes in the back isle. I don't know who's running this place, but they need to get this in order. You can't get around the store because of it. It's probably also a fire hazard. The only reason I shop here is because it's the most local grocery store to me. I'll probably be looking for a new one soon. I anticipate (and hope) that this store will get replaced by something better, or they at least get their act together.
