Have to go early, meat runs out quick! Overall, very family friendly market with wholesome selections

I go there for the fish always fresh and priced right. I only eat organic so I don't eat the meat. The sushi is also very good. The wine selection is nice and with plenty of choices.

Best selection, best quality in produce and meat! Plethora of prepared meals and snacks both hot/cold plus delicious buffet and freshly prepared pizza by the slice or whole pie. Several curated "Stew Leonard" items are the best, coffee milk, apple cider donuts, bagged breads.

Price is on par with Wholefoods but I like Stewart's selections better because they try to carry local items and have meaningful sale items like chicken breasts, broccoli, bananas; things you actually care about. Meat section is a must visit. Great selections and they will cut to your preference.

Stew Leonard’s (Located in Paramus Park Mall) 700 Paramus Park Paramus, NJ 07652 Cookie Milk Butter Cone Let’s explore a couple of the viral items from this supermarket located in the Paramus Park Mall. Cookie Milk: This dairy product is served in a recycled glass bottle. It has an appearance identical to milk, but its aroma is similar to sugar cookies. It basically tastes like cookies combined with milk. This is an unbelievably phenomenal drink. A minute critique is a nutrition label and the capacity is not provided. A bigger issue is you won’t find it on the shelves because it is a seasonal item. Butter Cone: The soft serve vanilla ice cream is dipped in dairy fresh butter and sprinkled with sea salt. Originally, I was skeptical about combining a breakfast topping with ice cream. As soon as I explored this creation, it was love at first bite. It had a sweet, salty and buttery texture. And it's available every day of the year. While you are in the supermarket, be sure to explore the lively animations. Throughout the aisles, you will be greeted by flying cows, a variety of fruits and vegetables, a cheesewheel snowman, and the one bite pizza guy. Disney characters will perform on horizontal bars. and animatronics are giving a live performance on instruments. In addition to exploring great food, I also had a memorable experience admiring the scenery. #stewleonards #stewleonardsnj #cookiemilk #holidaymilk #buttercone #onebitepizzaguy #daveportnoy #animatronics #animatronicsatstewleonards

As much as I want to love Stew Leonards they bamboozle with their pricing. We saw a sign for their pizza dough fo $.99. When youre checking out you start to bag and dont look at the register my fault and get home and see they are $2.50. Even the fruit pink pineapple had no price and we go into the store and thank God we saw it was $9.99. Shame on your SL. My Mom is her nineties and she would not have bought them.

They have Dole Whip!!! Love to come here when I need a little “magic” fix. Their baked goods are so good. My favorite is the spinach pastries. Warmed up they are a great lunch with a salad. I love the health salad with the finely chopped veggies. I use my own dressing and it’s great!

Definitely a unique experience. There's kind of a linear path through most of the store so you don't have to do a lot of zigging and zagging up and down aisles. You just follow the path and grab things that you need along the way. Kids will be entertained by the animatronics like dancing, avocados and stuffed animals twirling on the ceiling. I thought the prices were just okay and some of the prices were actually pretty high, but it could be worth the trade-off for some people. After you exit the clearly linear part, there are some Open spaces where you can just go around and grab what you need. The people who worked there were very friendly.

Stew Leonard's is one of the better Supermarkets I've been to. I especially like the selection of fresh pies & donuts. My wife loves their freshly prepared salads. Their meats while of good quality they can be on the expensive side (compared to other Supermarkets) Always check the APP for discounts and sales, they definitely do help. I am a repeat shopper and don't foresee myself not returning.

Stew Leonard’s Farm Fresh is hands down one of the best grocery shopping experiences around. The store is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with incredibly fresh produce, meats, dairy, and prepared foods. You can really taste the quality, especially in their farm-fresh items and baked goods.

Not as good as Yonkers, hot food not good at all, fried food terrible, line for butcher horrible, flow of traffic around store horrible. Wine store was great, good prices, nice selections, but not organized. Check out lady great, fast curious, helpful and talked to us. Hot food taste bad. Overcooked. Selections not plentiful.

Stu Leonard’s is definitely different. They carry a lot of their own brand products, and many of them taste surprisingly good. The glass-bottle milk and their ice cream are especially worth a try. The store uses an Ikea-style single-path layout, which makes browsing interesting but can feel a little restrictive. I even overheard an older shopper voicing frustration about trying to reach the checkout directly. That said, the liquor section seemed to serve as a convenient shortcut out of any area. Overall, the staff were polite, friendly, and added to the positive experience of a destination style store with animitronics for the kids. While there’s a lot to see, some sections felt surprisingly small, which makes it not quite a full traditional grocery store replacement.

Huge grocery store attached to Paramus Park mall. Open 7 days per week and they open at 7am everyday. They bake everything fresh in store so when you go at 7/8am there usually is not that much being put out. Once the bakers and chefs finish the first rounds of food you will see them stacking them out. They make extremely excellent burgers and crispy chicken sandwiches at the barn burger stand. One of best burgers I have had around and the chicken sandwich could put chic fil a out of business.

My husband and I traveled here from a few hours away. The selection was good but there's a meanness to some of the employees that I find offputting. Maybe it's a sign of the horrific, jaded times we live in but try to find a little joy in your life other than being nasty to every person you encounter. I mean, you guys work in a store with animatronics. Live with it or work somewhere else. I mean you hit the button and start to laugh then realize employees are glaring at you with a hostility than seems inappropriate for the offense of enjoying the store's gimmick. As far as the food, I saw somebody in a previous review describe it accurately as "conventional food at organic prices and organic food at outrageous prices". When I grocery shop, I don't pay much attention to the prices. I'm not on a budget. But there were some items that even made me stop and say, "Wow!" If you're on a budget, maybe try Shop Rite down the road. Your grocery dollars will stretch further. Also, what's with half the store being filled with booze? I understand New Jersey allows alcohol sales in grocery stores but it seemed more like a liquor store with some prepared food than a grocery store with liquor in it. And I don't love that the maze makes you walk through the alcohol to get to the registers. The whole experience was just disappointing.

The staff are rude and act like they don't want any customers throughout the store. It’s one of the worst experiences I've had in a grocery store in ages so, I'm glad I traveled 6 hours to get that experience. We were recommended to come to this store from a YouTube travel vlogger named Lucas and we traveled 3 hours to get to the store based on that glowing recommendation. I guess if youre a former Nickelodeon star making a travel video for 3M subscribers, if youre a top rated chef, or if you're a disgraced doctor Oz who they boast as a visitor of their store, they treat you better than an average customer. This store's main draw is their animetronic animals throughout the store singing silly songs. But if you stop to enjoy them, the staff in multiple departments just stare you down with faces that scream "leave!" while they whisper to each other and point at you. Yes, because I'm the one in the wrong for pulling my cart off to the side and watching the animetronic show your bosses put here rather than you not bothering customers and stocking shelves. If it was just one staff member, I wouldn't mention it but there were many staff giving evil stares to anyone who even looked at the animetronic shows...not just us. So, if you're going here to enjoy this gimic of animals signing, enjoy videos of those shows online instead. No need to go in person and get chilling looks from staff wondering how they can make you feel uncomfortable enough to leave so they could go home early. When you walk around the store, you'll notice a demeanor from people like you're just an evil creature in their way. They'll race up to you and stare you down rather than pleasantly asking you to move so they can get something behind you on a shelf. But when you move, they'll just walk away because it wasn't their goal to get something on a shelf. It was their goal to feel more important than you and make you move for them. This happened a dozen times or more. Welcome to Jersey I guess. When you get to the cash registers, you'll encounter the worst customer service you'll ever see, even in Jersey. On the sign out front, it says the customer is always right. But our cashier decided we were just a waste of his space. After we paid for our entire cart, he repeatedly refused to allow us to collect all the things off his table before piling another customer's order literally into our pile of groceries. But I guess if we're the only two customers in line, you really need us to get out of the store so your boss thinks you work really fast. I genuinely hope those 5 seconds were worth it. It's a shame because this place could be something great. They've got a great gimic that pulls in people from hundreds of miles around purely based on travel vlogs and word of mouth but their staff are the ones to make visitors afraid to breathe the same air as them, throughout the entire store. I understand I'm just a tourist that's here to enjoy the shows while shopping for things I can't get back home. But, there's no need to stare me down and chase me away like I did something wrong after I paid for everything in my cart. When one of my favorite channels recommended this place, it sounded like a fun exploration. I run a travel YouTube channel too with a similar audience as Lucas. So, I was excited to bring home a review of this store for my followers too. But, sadly this staff made the best part of my day, the 3 hour drive home in Jersey traffic. In fairness, their bathrooms were clean and we haven't tried any of the food we purchased yet. I still have high hopes because I've heard good things. It's just their staff that made this trip a nightmare rather than a fun day trip.

I ordered one of their Thanksgiving meals. Pick up was fast and easy (much, much better than 'WF' last year). Food was good, tasty and there was plenty. The turkey took longer than suggested to heat up. The sweet potato and stuffing were great. I will definitely get this holiday package again next year.

I love love love this place! Grocery store with everything! You can't go wrong here! Animatronics and decor throughout. Fresh baked goods, hot food for days, snacks, nuts, fruits and veggies etc. They have hard to find fruits and veggies too like ube. Fresh seafood varieties, etc. I always get pecan pie for myself and cheese popcorn for a friend. Now add to that pastrami brisket! Lots of frozen hors d'oeuvres. Lots of liquor for cheap, huge bottles, gift sets. 50 Cent did a bottle signing here! Lots of sampling and wine tasting especially on the weekends. Last weekend I sampled a sandwich and wine! Ice cream counter on the way out so try to save a few dollars for that! Lol yum... I drive about 45 minutes just for Stew Leonards! If I'm in the area I must stop in!

This place is so wacky it’s great. I was impressed by all of their knickknacks across the entire store not my typical store that I would go shopping in, but definitely fun and engaging and certainly a great place to go. Bring your kids for a day if they’re looking to try and get Out of the house I don’t think I would shop here on a regular basis because it’s just not conducive I think the entire store is a giant maze and a small little pattern that you just go through and go from one section to another section. I prefer walking the outside aisles of typical grocery stores that you would go to a normal Whole Foods or a Shoprite but Stew Leonard’s offers a level of Uniqueness in the grocery store market. I think they have a wacky style and I embraced it. I don’t think this would be the right fit for me, but it has all of what you need a humongous liquor section and every different department. You could possibly imagine the baked goods seem to be delicious. The bakery section was off the charts. They had a full-blown bagel store inside this placethe fresh baked donuts. I was like oh that is great just a

They don't call it the Disney Land of supermarkets for nothing. Having heard about Stew Leonard's with the same gushy descriptions that people typically reserve for Trader Joe's, my husband and I finally made our first visit this past summer. We get it now. It's hard to encapsulate the joy of this market in words. Is it the windy aisles that make you feel like you're getting lost in a land of yummy things? Is it the cheesy animatronics that don't seem to add much value to the shopping experience, but then you catch yourself singing the avocado song hours later? The fresh, made-in-house goods that you couldn't find anywhere else, like the cider donuts, popcorn, breads, or cheeses? Or the shopper's program that rewards visits with free servings of some of the best soft serve ice cream I've ever had? It's all of the above. It adds up to a shopping experience that feels a lot like shopping at Target, where you vow to buy one thing and end up finding at least five more things that catch your fancy. Stew Leonard's has a rich history, with its roots as a small, family-owned dairy farm, so the cheese and ice cream game is unsurprisingly strong (see note on the soft serve above). But they do other things well. The breads are fresh and amazing, and the produce is incredibly fresh. The prepared foods section is also quite enticing. I once went so gaga on samples of a chopped veggie salad that I immediately went back to buy two. If you didn't just hear that I got excited about a SALAD, then you need to hear it again: ya'll, they managed to get me excited about a bowl full of chopped, cruciferous greens. Other notable sections include the wine and liquor section and the hot foods section, which has a lot of fun options but falls a little short of what you might find at Whole Foods. Even when we come around midday, some things look a little stale, dried, and sad. Some of our buys have been disappointing. Some boneless chicken wings turned out to have pretty processed and bready-tasting meat, and my husband and I have tried several prepared pasta meals that were extremely bland. But we still love coming here, both for the vibes and the most addicting soft serve in the area (hint: try it with a serving of warm, fresh cider donuts. You'll plop.)

Three gigantic pumpkins for $24! Those are prices from when I was a child! I was so impressed with their fall display, which seems to have disappeared from more common grocery stores. Thank you for making the season special for children and nostalgic adults.

Always love to come to SL for fresh grocery and hot food station. The veggies and fruits are in good quality. Bakery section always smells so good. Meat and frozen sections are full of choices. Also there are drinks, snacks, ready-to-go food etc. Hot food station is another big reason that we visit. Salmon is cooked perfectly. Brussels sprouts and mixed veggies are seasoned nicely. We use self checkout a lot. A staff is always there if you have some issues. Very efficient and quick. They have regular checkout line as well.

Some products are so expensive but I love going into that store especially fall time. So festive. Nicole at customer service was so kind, caring, compassionate. Thank you for being good to me when I was dealing with some stuff. She went & got me the milk when I couldn't find it. Very helpful.

Have lots of beverages to choose from here. I liked the way it smelled when we walked in the door because of the plants the have fresh produce from local farms here too

Wow this location is bigger and have even more goods than in Clifton. Impressive! We were just going to look around and ended up buying near 400 bucks of groceries (couple with no kids). Just a lot of goodies and the way they arrange tha path is amazing.

I always enjoy my shopping experience here. It is not my usual, daily grocery store. However, the BEST time to come here is the Fall. I love coming here to make charcuterie boards for both football season and HOTD season, and to get their seasonal items, like their apple cider donuts and their pumpkin patch in the parking lot. The labyrinth can be a bit annoying sometimes but I make the most out of a trip there.

Fun times, great selection of foods, grocery, snacks, dessert, deli, pizza, beverages, fruits, veggies, and more! Entrance from around the parking side, or through the mall. If through the mall, there are some tables and seating to eat your togo food, other carts aren't allowed beyond that into the mall, so if you parked mall-side prepare to lug your treasures through the mall to your car. Fun animatronics for all ages, show performance are programmed 3min intervals, or through a Push button for on demand shows. It's like a free version of Disney but with Stew's personal farm friends. Good times, lots of enticing food that one can't eat in one go. Back another time.

Very clean store. The pre prepared food selection was great from salads, to pizza, to pasta dishes. Fresh pressed apple Cider that is uv treated to insure a flavor like biting into a apple. not heat pasteurized . Liquor selection was nice and convenient not having to go to a separate store like in new york

We stopped here on our way to Ocean City NJ to see their animatronics, and my son was not disappointed. There is so much good-looking food there that we wanted to fill our shopping cart but knew it wouldn't be feasible staying in a motel room. The animatronics there are classic and entertained my son the whole time we were there. It is definitely a place I would recommend you visit for both the food and robots.

I love Stew Leonard's! I love going to the original in Norwalk but this one is a little closer to us. It didn't disappoint! Very clean! Very well stocked! Great prices. I always find something new I want to try when I shop Stewies, yep this time too! Raspberry oranges! Delicious and have never seen them anywhere else! They also had Cara Cara oranges. Can't beat that at all!

What a great and pleasant shopping experience. This store has an enormous selection of foods, wines, and just about anything else you could eat or drink. Their meat department has a great selection of all cuts including dry aged. The bakery is over the top offering a great selection of in house made items. The crumb cake is a winner. The Pull apart garlic/ cheese bread is so good it should be illegal. The store is neat, clean and super organized. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good parking. You can easily access the store from either the parking lot or mall. Covid protocols are in place.
