Pleasantly surprised at trying their pizza for the first time. Truly impressed with the quality and taste. Staff was top notch. Super friendly and helpful.

I’ve been a regular shopper at this Whole Foods for several years, but the experience continues to decline with no visible improvement. Shopping carts are frequently unavailable, even during normal hours, despite multiple complaints. Checkout is another major issue—there are often not enough cashiers, lines back up unnecessarily, and some registers remain idle while staff are chatting instead of helping waiting customers or they say they are not open to take customer at the register. As part of Amazon, Whole Foods is expected to meet a higher standard of customer service. Unfortunately, this location consistently falls short, and store management does not appear to be addressing these ongoing operational problems. I hope leadership takes this feedback seriously, as long-time customers deserve better.

The location is perfect, the products are excellent and fresh, but the problem with this supermarket is the employees. The woman who works in the meat section, an older woman, lacks manners and respect for the customers. She has a rude attitude, as if the customers were getting things for free. The same goes for the employees on the floor and those in the deli. It's an expensive supermarket, and as customers, we deserve respect.

I've been shopping here for years and am noticing the quality going down lately. I ordered groceries for pick up today and was appaled to find moldy pasta and rotten lettuce in my bag. So disappointed!

I have been buying Mountain Valley bottled water in a box for a long time from Whole Foods Markets spending almost $ 35.00 for a box. Lately I am really concerned about bottled water safety seals because I don’t hear clicking sounds whenever I open the bottle and so easy to open, not sealed tightly. Mountain View bottled water company should be investigated. How can you guarantee this bottled water is not plain tap water? Sometimes I tasted bad chemicals taste as I drank. I have been gingerly recycling the bottles and I strongly believe this bottled waters compromised. In the meantime I will use Saratoga brand. Shame on Mountain View bottled water company ??? and SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED ???

I (thought) I lost my purse in the Paramus Whole Foods, and I was upset because I had. Xmas presents in it. I ran to the customer service desk, and David got on the phone right away and called people. I went back to the area I had been in, and a man named Gary met me there to look. He was going to look at the cameras to watch where I went and perhaps left my purse. My purse was in my car but STILL - I was very impressed by the prompt response and efforts .

The florist department is very good. Was able to pay and get a bouquet made for no extra charge. The bouquet came out very nicely. Definitely would recommend coming here for flowers.

overall wait time for the pizza was an hour and a half. Pizza absolutely sucked. It was undercooked and I think they used the wrong flour. Doesn’t help that the black kid who was making my pizza overcharged me so I don’t know if he did this on purpose, but he should know damn well his math was off .overcharged-me by two dollars so I wonder where that money goes ..but the joke is on Wholefoods ??

One of the nicest Whole Foods I’ve been to. Quite expansive and has basically a liquor store inside with not just wine and beer but nice liquor selection as well. Plenty of self checkout stations also.

⸻ Whole Foods used to be my favorite place to shop, but lately things have really changed. The fruits and vegetables are not as fresh or as high-quality as they used to be, and it feels like the overall quality has gone down. I really hope they improve again, because I always loved shopping there.

I stop by this Whole Foods about once a week and just want to take a moment to thank the management team for the culture they've been able to maintain. Thank you to staff like Oriana for always being so helpful and having a heart of gold. Thank you to Annette (not sure if I'm spelling that right but I think she's one of the managers). Thank you to team members like Jesse as well. Instead of just pointing me in the direction for the item I was looking for, he stopped what he was doing and walked with me to the opposite side of the store. If he pointed me in the right direction I would've probably found it but the fact that each employee just takes that extra care is really making a difference. Thank you Whole Foods and also Thank you to the Bergen Town Center for constantly improving. It really has made the town a better place.

On 9/27/2025 at 4:45 P.M, I visited Whole Foods Paramus. I was not going to write a review but I feel compelled to write one. The security guard at this store is creepy and disheveled. This guy was stalking me around the store and making me uneasy causing emotional distress during my shopping experience. I am a regular shopper at Whole Foods spending “about” $300+ WEEKLY, so the profiling and unwarranted surveillance approach is not appreciated. Not sure what his problem is.This was not the first time this creepy guy did this. My daughter’s driver who usually accompanies me to the store had mentioned that to me, but I tried to ignore it on several occasions. Finally, I decided to address the matter with a “supervisor” because I was told the general manager was not available. I stated to this supervisor, who did not provide his name, that this security guy was stalking me around the store, and it was not the first time. My daughter is a lawyer, a son is a doctor, and a strong financial position so no need to steal anything from any stores and/or anyone. And spending $300 to $400 weekly at this location. I told the "supervisor " to address this matter with this individual because next time there will be legal consequences. A 3 star for the organic products and location accessibility. 10/07/2025 UPDATE They have enough employees, but most of them are just standing around chatting. Customer service is terrible and no manager is around. Meanwhile, the disheveled security guard is overly suspicious, treating every customer like a thief. Ironically, it's often the insiders—sometimes even security staff—who are responsible for theft." The produce section is always out of fruits/vegetables especially bananas & peppers among others. Certainly, quality and service have gone down, while prices have gone up.

Store layout is confusing at times it is not thoughtfully laid out hard to navigate. I’ve go here for over five years and still have to ask employees where to go. With that being said, it’s near impossible to find an employee at times Some employees are genuine and have a heart most of the time the other employees have no heart and they literally don’t even wanna look in your direction so overall customer service here is miserable Store cleanliness it’s clean nothing to rave about There has been many times where I’ve gotten rotten produce. I have follow up to them many times I purchased cheese. It was literally moldy and green. I purchased tomatoes and I got them delivered and they were expired, etc.. If you like a product, I’d recommend stocking on it although it’s expensive because sometimes I order things and want things and they never have them in stock like ever until like a week and a half maybe more The best part of Whole Foods is probably their meat department, although it is incredibly expensive nowadays for no reason at all I mean prices are coming down The bakery is a true sweet, toots lover dream Overall, the store is good for the state of Paramus. It’s convenient. Parking is miserable people in the parking lot. Do not have respect for children or elderly. They’re literally just go 25 mph while people are walking And they’ve never is reserve pick up parking people always take it I wish it was run better and prices were more affordable. Overall I do recommend my experiences very every time I go sometimes it’s great sometimes I regret i ever thought Whole Foods. In my mind

Good store Friendly staff somewhat clean inside. Bathrooms are kind of gross due to the fact that anybody can walk in and use them. they could pay a little bit more attention to detail. outside garbage cans give off Paterson vibes.

My favorite store in this location, mall and grocery together, working late night. I buying regular from there flowers, milk production, organic food, blueberries always sweet, sour cream daisy is less money then everywhere, sometimes coffee illy 10$. They have spot to bring glass bottles from milk back and get 3$ per bottle, and amazon point. What I don’t like that I cannot pay cash in self pay.

This is a review on my Too Good to go App order. The items I got didn’t match the description on the ad. I usually get more than this. This time I got only three items all from already 50 percent off sales: a small container of watery plain pizza sauce, liquidy Mac and cheese and two pieces of grilled chicken. When I asked the worker if this is the right amount of food, he said that’s it, and if I don’t like it then I can go to the customer service. At the customer service, as soon as I mentioned Too Good to Go app, the male worker closed his eyes and sighed, shook his head and said there is nothing he can do and then I can cancel the order now and maybe I’ll get money back from the app and so on. That’s wrong information. He wasn't sure but seemed as though he was just trying to get me leaving. And who sells a watery pizza sauce for prepared food? This was not worth the money at all. I generally feel poorly treated when I go pick up these orders, but I tried to ignore it. This time it was just a bad experience all around.

This is a gigantic Whole Foods with all sorts of amazing sections. As I walked I found a pizza station with brick oven, a bakery and confectionery section (they make cake for you), seafood and butcher stations, hot food and healthy food stations, coffee stations, and cheese station. All of them have such variety, accompanied by friendly staff. The store has an excellent inventory of fruits, vegetables, grocery and frozen goods. I love getting cookies and brownies from here. They keep some unique healthy drink brands too. This WF in particular has a large wine section too. There are many self checkout booths, lines move fast. After the checkout area, there are small dining area and of course Amazon pick up and return section. Very convenient service for Prime members. Prime members also get discounts on grocery shopping. Through out my shopping, found this WF very clean, well maintained. Several associates were walking around reorganizing different parts of the store and wiping the hot food area for spilled stuff. It is a very popular spot among locals, always have plenty of visitors, almost impossible to find outdoor parking. I usually park in indoor garage and walk there thru the mall.

UPDATE: was 5 stars now 1 star. This store is going through issues, the registers are the problem. How many times I have gone to a register and the associate does not even speak is beyond comprehension. It is ridiculous that management sees this and does nothing, they don’t say hello when you say hello, they don’t even look at you, nor do they even say the price of the items. Worst of all THEY DONT EVEN BAG THE GROCERIES ANYMORE! Lazy incompetence, the only good is that they carry decent desserts, such as fresh/frozen mochi, birthday cakes, creme Brûlée, eclairs etc. Plenty of prepared foods, and more such as freshly made pizza pies which can be ordered ahead of time for parties which is beneficial. Lots of other food and drink items, and new items that are hitting the market. You will pay a premium for this store so be prepared in advance but it is decent quality. I recommend the wine selection and prepared foods area . A lot of variety, but the cost to shop here with awful employees at the registers has me looking to go elsewhere.

Too bad that Whole Foods sucks now, with it's high prices, angry employees and clueless management. Amazon Prime is good for music downloads, original movies and series but for Whole Foods discounts, it sucks and is a gimmick. I purchase 450.00 worth of items and get a 1.12 discount. People walk around stealing food, bringing back 3/4 eaten chicken, high end protein powder replaced with flour and Whole Foods continues to honor this. I buy my fish at the New Fulton fish market in the Bronx, I buy my poultry and bovine at organic meat farms in central NJ and Pennsylvania. Their bakery is not really a bakery at all. They dont make the cakes in the store. They are shipped pre baked layers and they put the cake together and slap some icing on it, which is why I became incredibly sick. The fruits and vegetables are irrigated with water, whose tubes havent been cleaned in years. You are better off going to a local farmers market because the fruits and vegetables at whole foods are either not ripe or over ripe, with the same high prices. You can do better elsewhere and the regional folks at whole foods suck. There is one Whole Foods that gets it and it's in Florida. Atlanta, DC, NYC, NJ, Virginia, Maryland, Dallas Whole Foods are stuck. Updated: 07/17/2019 In Regards to the irrigation system for the fruits and vegetables, today I watched two Whole Foods team members "clean" a part of one of the vegetable stands at this store during store hours at approximately 6pm. No disinfectant was used and paper towels were used to do the scrubbing. No protection for the team members such as rubber gloves, face masks or aprons in light of the heavy rust, grime and hook in the water lines and fans. Who knows what was in the fan motors. Only a water hose was used. I won't be buying vegetables in this section again until a true industrial cleaning is performed. This should have been done off hours or overnight. Notice the black mold in some of the photos and videos. It sucks. High prices for low quality.

Convenient location just be mindful of the parking due to the center having so much stores within the vicinity. Everything was well organized at the store as you can see with some of the pictures I took. The sushi bar had so much variety of different rolls and side dishes that you would want to try each one (sarcasm would not recommend that lol). My experience was fast, convenient, and wonderful overall.

Very close to my work place . Amazing shop. Conveniently located in Bergen mall. Customer service is good but not in places where they sell pizzas, Mexican food etc. We had to wait for a long time to get a pizza or a bowl of rice/bean.. otherwise I love their desserts or the range of wines they have. Quick billing. Very efficient..

I like the variety, organic, plant based, vegan... so on so on... But it's too expensive!. I mean, I really could go to Aldi or some other supermarket and get organic way cheaper. I will recommend for special/specific food to choose to come here, but for any other stuff you can even go to Walmart ???♀️ (Btw, I tried some Bakery and it's a NOPE for me.) Oh!, also...they have baby orchids and they are soooooooo cute!

Very clean and well organized, wonderful selection and variety. Good for almost anything you are missing in the kitchen and things you might not have known you needed in the kitchen. I love their choices or organic and grass fed foods. Beers, Wines and liquor selection is very good. If you have not been to this whole foods you should definitely give it a try.

Typical Whole Foods Store. Located in the mall. Parking is really tough and not enough spaces. Wait time to get a spot can be a pain. Place is clean with a great selection. Pizza bar, sushi, hot and cold food area, place to sit, eat and chill on your laptop if you want.
