Big shoutout to Joe and Danny at ETD in Lyndhurst.
I had a nail in my tire right near the sidewall. Since I drive an AWD Volvo with 21-inch tires, every other shop I've been to has given me the same line: "You have to replace all four tires to keep the diameters even." That’s a $2,000+ bill I wasn't looking for.
Joe was the only one who offered a logical, common-sense solution. He suggested ordering a single replacement from Tire Rack and having it shaved down to match my current tread depth. I had the tire shipped directly to ETD, and Danny impeccably handled the rest.
It saved me a massive amount of money and kept three perfectly good tires out of the landfill. It’s hard to find a shop these days that prioritizes honest problem-solving over a quick upsell. If you need tire work done, go see Joe or Danny - human connection, no upsell, common-sense, and beyond all - honesty, a trait you won't see much anymore. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Joe, Danny, and the entire team are truly exceptional. After visiting multiple shops that couldn’t resolve vibration issues with brand-new tires, I brought my car to ETD Lyndhurst, where I’d had great experiences in the past. I need to balance 2 tires on my Jeep. I have 37” tires so finding a shop that would do it has been pretty slim. A buddy went here to get tires and he suggested it to me. I came in and spoke to Victor. He was great and patient and understood my issue and what I needed. I didn’t need anything extra so he didnt upsell anything. Just gave me a fair price to get what I needed done. I am still waiting on two tires to arrive and I will definitely go back to have them do those. Great folks, and solid service. 11/10 would recommend.

I am continuously impressed by the service at this location. They seem to grasp the value of quality work combined with excellent customer service. That’s not so easy to find at most businesses revolving around cars these days.
I started coming to this ETD location because it was right down the block from me, and even after moving I still make the trip back because of how much I trust their team. The staff is always friendly and professional. They never try to upsell, only recommend the services I actually need, and the quality of work is always top notch. I highly recommend them for all your car needs!
The people on the phone actually sound like a commercial, welcoming and excited to help. More important is that the service and price are decent. I always appreciate that my repairs and maintenance are done quickly and on time.
Update:
This place has changed. Called for a brake and suspension issue. While I know places are busy this guy I spoke to wanted to rip me off on having them look at the car and said there was no way I could even have the car back today for an auto inspection plus thirty dollars just to get in the door. I also had an issue with them not fulfilling an obligation to restate my tires recently. I purchased them through here and it came with lifetime rotations. He tried to sell me tires. This business has gone downhill and the man that handles the call is some bottom feeder that has a bad attitude with customers. Stay away. Lots of places do this basic work.

They had my car for a couple days and kept in touch with me with updates and did not try to rip me off or upsell.
Joe at the front counter was great. Took in my wife’s Chevy Tahoe that was originally serviced by a different reputable tire shop, however the front end would vibrate at higher speeds.
Joe was up front about the entire process, cost and possible outcome.
After they rebalanced the tires and rotated them, no more vibration.
Very impressed with my 1st time doing business at ETD in Lyndhurst, NJ. I needed 4 new tires ASAP and Ali & Joe were very concerned about my "safety" and helped me immediately in the last 30 minutes of their work day! I'm a VERY satisfied new customer and highly recommend them if you need any kind of tire services. Thank you for your honesty and expertise!
The team over in the Lyndhurst store are amazing. Every time I’ve taken on of my vehicles to this shop, I’ve had only good experiences. Danny, Victor, Joed (forgive if I spelled their names wrong) and the rest of the crew are very pleasant to work with. They are very knowledgeable and do great work. I’ve only until recently just purchased tires and have now moved to trusting them on the repairs as well. Keep up the good work!
The best service at the Lyndhurst shop. They got my car running better than when I first got it and were always honest and on time. Car is still running perfect. Danny is the best and very friendly. He always keeps me updated and explains things to you clearly about your car. Whenever something went wrong with the car it was always a quick or easy fix for them.I trust them the most with my car rather than any other place. I feel comfortable calling them about anything knowing they will help me and have the best quality service. I recommended this shop to my family and friends.

Danny still works on my new mustang and just got it ready for me for the summer , driving smoother than when I got it and the car feels more powerful. You can count on him to fix your car and keep it up to date on the necessary maintenance. Replaced my front suspension , brakes , oil and serviced my differential very quick. I wouldn’t want any other shop to touch my car.
This place did an incredible job setting up my new tires with new wheels. I bout the tires online and was able to have them delivered there for installation.
I don't often write reviews, but my experience today was exceptional. The staff was courteous, responsive, and transparent throughout the entire process. I delivered my vehicle to the location via tow, and they then kept me informed every step of the way and were responsive to my calls. They replaced my flat tire, and I appreciated them doing a thorough examination of my rim and valve stem, which I was also concerned about.
Best automotive shop I've been to in years! Had some tires installed they made quick work of it and was in and out in less than an hour. I will get all my tire needs done here from now on.

After buying out my lease I needed tires. Victor and Danny helped on the phone the day prior and ordered what I needed. No hard sell or pressure…. I compared prices and theirs were good. Next day I came in and Ali helped me. Since I had to wait, they were all very kind. My phone was dying and they even dug out a charger for me to use. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. Since I’m no longer leasing, I will be back (hopefully not too
soon). I definitely recommend!
Had tires put on by another shop. They balanced them twice but was still getting vibrations. I decided to take my vehicle to this place as I needed a road force balance test to really troubleshoot the issue. Turns out all 4 tires had issues! Danny and team took care of everything and were able to get the manufacturer to issue brand new tires. They even did not charge for the original balance test since they said they could not get the positive results. Found my new home for vehicle maintenance!
I've been going to ETD for a few years now, and they always take good care of my Jeep! Most recently, I had an unexpected issue come up with my brake system and I brought it right to ETD. Joe communicated the issue effectively, answered all of my questions, and was able to arrange for everything to be fixed quickly. Excellent customer service!! I felt like the team went above and beyond to help me. Joe, Danny, and Andy are all personable, reliable, patient, and understanding. An extra shout-out to the mechanics who I have not spoken with much, but of course, get the job done well and with efficiency!
Awesome guys, came here for my Tesla and the guys are super friendly. Victor is super helpful, going back for a rotation tomorrow to help diagnose a weird issue and they’re always willing to help/suggest ideas or assist. Will be going back for future needs / maintenance or tire installs. Great prices too

I am very happy to have chosen this store. I've never had a tire replaced in this county, so I've been searching for a long time to see which tire store would be better.
Mavis is closer to my house and offered a lower price, but I chose ETD. In particular, the ETD Lyndhurst branch has been booked here because both Google and Yelp have great reviews, and so far I am very satisfied.
The sales manager Orlando did a great price match for me, and thanks to the mechanic who replaced my tires quickly and without problems in an hour. (Sorry, I don't know his name.)
If you're a busy and can't wait longer, make a reservation at 7:30AM. They will have everything ready for you and provide a very fast service.
Been going here for years and never had a problem. I guess times change. Brought in a new tire and reconditioned wheel (looked brand new) due to a blowout thanks to a large pothole. A simple tire and wheel install couldn't be done without maring up the wheel. If you care about your wheels I suggest you take it elsewhere.
Pleasant customer service, reasonably priced, honest assessments and a very pleased customer.
My first visit was to replace a flat tire (there was no hope of repair). Tom carefully listened to my driving habits and concerns and recommend a modestly priced tire. Already a contrast to other shops I had called. Since we were off to a good start, I asked if they would also look at my brakes. A few days earlier, the dealership told me that I needed new brakes and rotors and that the rotors could not be resurfaced. To my great surprise, Tom told me that they could in fact be resurfaced! I made an appointment, was pleased to see that an appointment actually meant something to them and saved almost $300. That was a couple weeks ago and I am happy to say that I haven't had any issues with my brakes at all!
In the past I have have been burned by local mechanics so I am cautious to say the least and now only have my car serviced at the dealership. However, I can say that not only would I return, but I would also recommend them highly. Thank you Tom and the rest of ETD!
