I highly recommend Altona custom metal for your custom needs. I brought my Conga drums to get new rings for the bottom of the drums. The process took about 2 weeks and worked out to my satisfaction. Altona customized a motorcycle carrier for me by fitting a Pitbull trailer system to a Moto Tote, eliminating the need for tie down straps. It is completely custom work but looks OEM. READ ME!!!!! I was very hesitant to go here. I had a very small job and thought they would tell me to get lost. From my first phone call I was assigned to Matt. He was a pleasure to deal with. I went in to meet with him and explain what I wanted. I needed a fridge/freezer installed in the back of my pickup truck. We talked over a few ideas. I went home and slept on it and had to call a few times. I also had to go back again to go over the final plan. Matt was very patient with me. This was going in a very expensive truck that is my baby lol. Long story short they blew it out of the water. They treated myself, my truck and the project with a great deal of respect. The price was very reasonable. I can't say enough good things about this company! Don't think twice from large to small they got you covered!!
If you are looking for a steel work shop that will get your job done quickly and professionally give Altona a call. I have done a few projects with them so far and have been extremely satisfied. The office staff is easy to deal with, helpful and responsive. The steel workers are professional and attentive to details. Couldn't be happier.

Kelly was also great help. From the outside, looks like any metal shop, but if you walk-in, you will see the details in the product they make. Highly recommended.
Best custom metal shop around. The company I work for has dealt with them for a long time and I wouldn't recommend anybody else for custom metal work. Very responsive, work gets done fast and they are very accommodating as well. And they are very accessible as well.

I filled out their quote request form online last Sunday and followed up with four phone calls this week. I really liked their website and work they are promoting. Unfortunately, I got no where with them. This is my experience with Altona Metals thus far. First call Monday morning: I followed up and spoke with grumpy receptionist who obviously did not like me interrupting her morning. She asked what email I sent the quote too and seemed confused when I told her it was their online quote form. She said she would get back to me. Second call on Wednesday: nice young lady answered the phone and said that Sean in water jet cutting was probably the one I needed to speak to and she would let him know to call me. Third call on Thursday morning: I called about 7:30 in the morning since their hours are listed from 6am - 4pm and a man answered after I pushed the option for water jet cutting. I explained every call thus far and what I needed and his response was the receptionist usually comes in after 8 am and call back then. Fourth call, Thursday about 8:30 am: back to grumpy receptionist, she said she would let someone know I called and that someone would get back to me. ???
