Came in around lunch time on a time restraint and in need of a run flat tire and an oil change. I didn't think I stood a chance getting out of there on time especially because they had to get the tire from another shop. Emilio wasted no time and had me out of there with thirty minutes to spare. Great service and great work. Grateful to the team and manager

Came in Saturday afternoon with no appointment. Gave me a great deal and my brakes and routers were replaced within an hour and a half.

I just bought a new used car and the same kept hearing a slight whistle which freaked me out a bit. Brought it in to have the guys look it. The Mechanic drove me around to listen out for the noise and was able to resolve. Thanks a lot.

George didnt try to sell something I didnt need like other places mechanics. And as a woman thats a big deal. I cant speak on anyone else at this place. But these two guys, I can trust. I had a flat tire close to this location. I drove into their parking lot. They took care of me and put on the spare for a very good price. So I just used them to purchase a new tire as well. I had nothing but a great experience honestly

Emilio got me in and out of there in less than an hour! Projected 45-90mins for an oil change and tire air on a busy day but got it done and put me back in motion. Good job you guys! A+++

Unless you have another car to drive to work, i recommend another place. Had appointment at 5PM to change battery. Associate told if I come next morning they can do more detailed check on top of battery change, but will be done late that night so I should come back when store opens next morning 7AM and it will be ready to pick it up. But didnt get any call. Next morning I called only to find out they never even had the battery so waiting for battery delivery at 7:45. And didnt even do any check. I had to just pick it up with only battery change. Then why did I even have to wait overnight and why wasnt the exam even done? Didnt honor the appointment, and didnt even have the battery, and had to call to rush them. They also didnt pick up my following calls. Almost couldnt go to work even though I had an appointment.

When I saw that my headlight had gone out, I filled with anxiety over as to where I should go, how long it would take, and how much I should expect it to cost. So, I asked Google AI if I should go to my neighborhood mechanic or to a corporate chain. After reading Google's rundown of those and other options, I decided to take the AI's recommendation and specifically go to Firestone. This was actually somewhat convenient since I had to be in the same town as that facility later in the day anyway. So when I got there, per the appointment I had easily made over the phone, there was not an intimidating crowd of people inside, and they immediately set to work on replacing my headlight. As you might expect, they also looked over my car to see what else might need tending to, and although I mentioned I wouldn't be able to take care of anything else that day, they pleasantly printed out the details of the other work that I might consider having done at some time in the near future, complete with pricing, all of which I found very helpful and informative. As for the headlight, they were done with it rather quickly and charged me even less than what Google AI had suggested I might pay. Had I known it was going to be such a smooth and positive experience, I never would have felt anxious to begin with. Kudos, Hackensack Firestone!

I went in for brakes and was told I needed front and rear brakes with rotors; “plugs” and that the rear brakes were the worst. They also said I needed 4 new tires when I already got 3 used tires a few days ago. I asked how much it will be to just take care of the rear brakes for now? Rear brakes with rotors and plug was about $700 not including any tires in the price so I got a second opinion. I was told the front brakes can hold out til Feb, next year. He did the rear brakes, rotors and plugs plus 2 new tires for $634. I will be going back to the mechanic who I got the second opinion from in Feb. Firestone is a franchise so it’s going to be overpriced. Get a second opinion.

I will be recommending this Firestone to all my friends from now on. We dealt with John at the front desk, he was an absolute pleasure. Did his best to make sure we were taken care of and got us in and out ASAP. The mechanics were also very quick and attentive. Will definitely be coming back to see my Toyota buddy again!

I called to schedule a wheel alignment for my car. Over the phone, I was told the lifetime wheel alignment would cost $209 plus tax, so I made an appointment and went in that evening. The staff were polite, respectful, and explained things well, which I appreciated. However, when I received the final bill, it came to $269.75, which was quite a bit higher than what I was quoted. The price difference wasn’t clearly explained, and I believe customers should always be told the full, final cost upfront. Another concern is that I wasn’t given a printable receipt for the service—I paid by credit card and was simply told I was free to go. I’ll see how the car performs in the next few days, but overall, while the team was courteous, they need to be more transparent about pricing from the start. A $60 difference is not a small amount and can make customers hesitate to come back.

Did engine oil change. They pulled the VIN and the oil cap clearly says what type of oil have to be used but they still used a wrong oil. Only found out when checking their invoice sent by the email because I was checking to see why their oil change is lot more expensive then my dealer ($133 vs $90). I was in a road trip and had already driven 200 plus miles. Thank goodness I checked the invoice. Changed the oil quickly at a local shop. Called to complain and get refund. No apology offered. And they say I have to go back there to get refund. Got my refund, but when I checked my email invoice, they shortchanged me by a dollar. Don’t use a place where you can’t even count on it to do to some basic things like these. Careless and absolutely no pride and care taken with their jobs

Stopped in for emergency tire repair as I had used this dealer a number of years ago with, what I remembered to be, good experience. Charlie, the service manager, was extremely helpful and accomodating. He squeezed me in for the repair and they did a good job at a very reasonable price. Nice waiting area with coffee, TV and seating for ten.They have a huge selection of tires and 10 service bays.
