Nobody want to have to go to a body shop.. but if you do.. H&Z are only ones to go too. I have had to used them a few times.. and each time they make a difficult situation..less stressful. Fortunately this time was an easy fix.. Friday I had a hit and run and my driver's mirror was broken and by Saturday it was fixed. Last time, I had an older car that was hit by a tree during covid. They got the car running, looking good as new and helped me navigate the insurance and car rental.
Zuri the owner, was very kind and considerate he waited for me to pick up my car Saturday to fit my schedule. I can’t thank them enough! Will definitely be coming back again.
I had a great experience with H&Z Auto Body. The owner was super nice, honest, and genuinely helpful—he didn’t try to upsell or make extra money off me, which I really appreciated. They fixed my car in just one day and gave me an absolutely great price. I’m definitely coming back here in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy service!
Horrible experience, particularly with the owner’s behavior. I was referred here by my insurance company. At first, the owner seemed friendly but it turned 100% when I pointed out an issue that had not been properly addressed. After picking up my car, a dashboard warning light appeared that wasn’t there before the inspection. The owner told me to replace the battery. The light remained on even after I paid $200 out of pocket for the battery. When I asked about it, the owner lost his temper out of nowhere and began yelling at me. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially when dealing with customers who are simply trying to understand what went wrong. I would not recommend this place at all.
H&Z Auto Body has been my go to shop for many years.
When I needed to have some repairs done, I always appreciated they work performance, expertise and customer service. The owner Zuri, his son Eli, Scotty and the whole team are second to none. I definitely recommend this shop.

Without question you will be amazed at the friendly, professional service providing the top quality repairs of your vehicle. H&Z repaired many cars for friends that I sent to H&Z. The feedback each time was positive and thankful for sending them to H&Z.
If there were 6 stars, my rating will be SIX for sure.
Absolutely horrible experience, this body shop had to fix their own screwups twice, every time I was pointing out at a low quality job, the owner would starting screaming insults at me. See for yourself self, they can’t even blend paint, they tried to convince me that it was I who understands nothings and that I should stick to my own profession. Nasty people. Avoid this please.
Great experience getting my car fixed at H&Z. I had a huge dent at the top of my car and a missing handle cap, they gave me a very fair price and fixed the car in only 4 days. My family knows the owner for many years and we always receive great service.
Once again, H&Z took great care of me and my beautiful little car. Dripping from a garage ceiling had left ugly white tracks on the hood. They had the car for one day, no waiting, and now it is as beautiful as new with no repainting and for a very good price. Very grateful as always.
The worst with follow up. Took my car there and met with Eli, says I will get an estimate, and one week now. No estimate and no call back. Seriously people , some one like this you don’t want to give your vehicle to, where you have to chase them. I don’t recommend this shop nor dealing with Eli!
What a refreshing experience dealing with the guys at H&Z… absolute brilliant service and work. They made my car look like new - and treated me with respect every step of the way. As a woman going into these shops alone you always wonder if they’re going to try and take advantage of you but they explained everything to me and guided me through the entire process. Zuri the owner is a Godsend, Scottie who handled my paperwork was amazing… everyone was great… and they delivered my car exactly when they said they would - right before Christmas! I hope I never need to go back BUT I’m writing this so all of you who do need bodywork know to come here!!!
This shop is a hit or miss. Service is not what it used to be. I paid for a repair and received my car still damaged, was told they’ll give me a new estimate instead of making the correction.
Had my Mercedes 300 towed there while closed due to an off hours accident. The next day talked to Ely. He was very informative and cooperative with insurance agent. He told me car would be ready in two weeks and it was ready one day early. Straight forward, no BS. Excellent

This place is very ashamed. Gary of whatever the owner name it's very unprofessional bad unskilled body shop take you car buying the parts on other's dealer's and charged you like they doing the best! Looking for a cheapest parts and take times to fixed you car. Never evnever bringing you car here Looking for other body shop you waste you times here
I've lived in Fort Lee for over 35 years. Hands down one of the best body shops. They won't be the cheapest but their prices will be fair and their work will be exceptional.
Eli is amazing great customer service I worked at Starbucks before and he helped me out with my car troubles. Great family own business very nice people. I’d suggest it to anyone that wants great service
A+ experience! this is a great spot; i'd highly suggest and recommend h & z to anyone in the nyc metro area and beyond. very knowledgeable and everyone has tons of experience -- they really know what they're doing.
I've used them several times in the past 10 years due to idiots crashing into my previous and current cars. I have ALWAYS been pleased with their work and customer service. I will continue to use them as long as their still in business.

After severely damaging my car i contacted H&Z for as a second opinion after receiving high recommendations from friends. Once i was Able to bring in my car they were able to get the repairs done very quickly because i have 3 kids and need my car with 3 car seats. What a fantastic job, I’ve already recommended them to my family and friends. Easy to work with, professional, and priced right for the services received.
