All the great deals are gone - place is picked through by 11 am. Prices doubled - ie glasses, glassware, furniture. Just not what it used to be.

You can still find quality furniture and products at a real discounted price -including name brands. Additionally, unlike Goodwill - RESTORE profits actually help people!!!! - Goodwill removes valuable name brands from the store & auctions those items online at very high prices. RESTORE IS more closely aligned with values of supporting thrift stores & the original intention of helping those less fortunate.

We are wondering why every one of these stores is not consistent in their pricing. Why do some stores have pricing by color code and others have pricing that is more consistent and reliable? The Warren County store, for example, sells their games for either one or two dollars each, depending upon whether they are brand new or opened, while the store in Manville has a range of prices, unbelievably as high as eight dollars, with different color tags. This might be to entice people to come more often into the store to find the bargains, but in our case, it does exactly the opposite.

You have to ask for bags. They do not wrap any glass items there (manville). And multiple items break. They forgot to put a $10 item in my bag and it was too far for me to go back. Also some of the prices (especially books) are too high. The place is dirty. Three stars is generous. Bring some newspaper with you to wrap glass items.

Manville store is awesome! Great inventory, super friendly staff throughout the store always - offering info and explanation, great people make you want to support & reflect the mission of HfH. I always with something...big or small, one or many - it's always a good shopping experience!

Excellent store for the community. Option to schedule a donation pickup of furniture is a huge plus. A win win situation. I would highly recommend the Manville location. Thank you for all you do.

I hadn't been in a couple years (this was one of my late father's favorite places) and I'm in love with all the improvements I see such as the expanded book nook hutch and wall art display. The addition of both men's and women's clothing and shoes with an actual changing room to check the fit is by far the most exciting part. What *hasn't* changed is the wonderful assortment of eclectic furniture and knowing my purchases are funding a wonderful cause.

Very nice staff. Organized and very easy store to navigate. More like a higher end boutique than your typical restore or thrift store.

Huge selection of cd, dvds, vinyl, books, furniture etc. All at a great price. Plus a great organization with a wonderful mission.

Anyone who needs household items with a low budget like me… I highly recommend going to the Habitat for Humanity Restore in Manville, NJ. You will not only get sweet deals, but also enjoy a great shopping experience. Staff was pretty helpful and accommodating.

Great store. Friendly people who are more than willing to help! I bought an antique oak table and 4 chairs. They worked with me on the price and I am very happy with my purchase. Recommend!!!! UPDATE….Recent visit 8/15. I scored a Rowland & Marcellus co (Staffordshire England) beautiful blue willow dish although the pattern is still produced today the older ones have such a lovely deep blue color. Price 2.00! I give the Manville ReStore a high rating because every visit feels like a new adventure. The store is filled with unique treasures, and I always seem to come across something special—whether it's a piece of furniture, home décor, or a hidden gem I wasn’t even looking for. The variety, quality, and affordability of the items make each trip exciting and worthwhile. It's one of those places where you never leave empty-handed, and that’s why it continues to be one of my favorite spots to shop. Another visit to the ReStore on 9/27/2025 - As an art pottery collector, I was immediately drawn to a Peters and Reed Landsun cobalt glaze bowl from the 1920s that I spotted perched on a shelf, almost as if it had been waiting for me. For just $10, I was able to bring home a piece of American pottery history, a rare and serendipitous find that felt meant to be part of my collection. Also, I found a Heisey glass creamer in the pattern ‘Colonial’ from the 1930’s for just $1.49! Once again, seek and ye shall find! Proof that treasures always seem to turn up when you least expect them. I stopped into the ReStore on Saturday, 12/20/25, just to look around, even though I was a bit rushed. They were having a Christmas sale with 25% off, which was a nice surprise. I ended up finding a small Johnson Brothers English china oval dish ($1.60) and I’m using it on my vanity as a little tray. I can’t say enough good things about this store.

I had a wonderful experience at the Manville, NJ Habitat ReStore. The store was clean, well organized, and easy to browse, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We scored a pink Christmas tree at 25% off and can’t wait to put it up—it’s going to add such a fun, vibrant touch to our holiday décor this year. (there were plenty left for purchase) I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend stopping in!

I visited the Clinton Habitat store. It had great displays and nice items. I think I prices are a bit high. Some clothing that is used is selling for almost retail. The population in Clinton could use some lower pricing on clothing especially as many are not rich

Restore is one of my favorite thrift & repurposing places! I never know what I will find there, and that is half the fun Prices are reasonable and for a great cause. I recommend it to friends, family, and people I meet who care about the planet. I look forward to visiting the Clinton store!

Great store. - Gratifying place to donate and I have found some really great things there - there is always new stuff being brought onto the floor so you never know what you may find. Their displays are well organized and I would highly recommend donating and shopping there. Refurbishing and old piece of solid furniture could mean much better quality than some fiber board new options -

I was good w/customer service until I got to the register & the cashier could only take off a 10% Senior Discount on 1 of my 5 items. Should be on the complete purchase. I also had a 20% coupon for donating but she said she can only take that off of 1 item also which was only $2.

I shop at the manville location often and have for years and years purchasing large and small items Today there was an end table priced at $60, I took the tag off the table to pay and when I went back to place my sold sticker on the table there was a new price tag the now said $25 on the table. I went to a sales associate to question this and she said she needed to speak to the Pricer. She called the person who prices things over and I explained that I had removed the $60 price sticker to go purchase the table and when I returned the item is now $25. She snidely replied " Well there is alot going on in tie store today, plus there was no sticker because you removed it. So I thought that this was a new item and priced it accordingly. And I said so the price for a new item is more then half off what I just paid? And she said well I don't know what you want me to do about it.I followed up with OK and said shortly said well thanks for your purchase. I have spent well over thousands at this store and today my total was $145. I will be telling people about this rude and unprofessional treatment and how I was basically screwed over. I also know that the sticker needs to go with me to the register to pay for large items which is why her attitude and trying to blame me for no sticker after I explained my steps to her is bull.

Quick and cheap way to get the furniture you need when you need it, as long as they have it on the store. I really needed a recliner for my mother but buying new costs more than we can easily afford. Luckily, this store had we needed for a very cheap price.

Price gouging at a thrift store is insane. Don’t get me wrong, there are some good deals here, but it is outweighed by the dirtiness and the rude employees. No, I’m not talking about the special-needs ones, I applaud them for what they are doing for that community. When I walked in, I noticed a sign that said green tags are 50% off and orange tags are 75% off, in the home goods section there were two buckets, (shown in photos) One had a green tag that said four dollars and the other had a tag that said two dollars. The four dollar bucket was full of laptop bags (Which I really needed) And the two dollar bucket was full of softer material bags. It made sense that they would be 4 and 2 dollars. When I walked up to the register there was one more customer in front of me, another woman that was not even in line came from the other side and went straight to the cashier without waiting in line. The cashier looked at us as if she knew what the woman had just done, but it seemed like they were friends so she allowed the transaction to proceed… rude and unprofessional, but whatever. When it got to my turn in line, I placed the bag on the counter and asked “if the bucket this was in says…” I was immediately cut off by the cashier and told “no”. She called over another worker who said “oh this is a really nice brand (it wasn’t… it was just the best condition bag in the bucket).”It’s got to be more” (before I wrote this review, I looked up the exact bag online and they sell used for $5 to $10). She then took the bag to the back to look it up and THEN priced it based on what she found. Not caring to look at what I was talking about, repricing items based on condition AFTER a customer shows interest, not honoring the color discount, rude employee at the counter, And overpriced items that are clearly dirty and worn beyond their value are the reasons I will not be coming back here to donate or shop.

What a GREAT location. What a GREAT inventory. But the reason to return is the staff. Every single person in a Habitat for Humanity T-shirt could not do more to go above and beyond. The employees are the reason to return!

I went looking for a dresser and luckily, I found one at a better deal. It’s great because I’ve been looking for about a year and a half. I have not been at the store in a while so I said let me go today and I got a good deal thank God for habitat Love that store.

This place definitely has vintage everything, it was a treat to walk through. Its a great place to find furniture at a really discounted price, used of course. Pretty stuff, like floral lamps, vintage tea and plate sets. A lot of paintings. Its a big place and has a lot of stuff. Definitely worth checking out.

One of my favorite locations! I bought so many cute pieces for my apartment here, and all so cheap. Good variety of artwork, though some pieces are very expensive; others more reasonably priced.
