I had a great experience at Excellence Oil Change. Sam and the staff was professional, efficient, and didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need. They explained everything clearly, got me in and out quickly, and the pricing was fair. It’s hard to find an honest place you can trust with your car, but this is definitely one of them. I’ll absolutely be coming back and would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable service.
Shoutout to the entire team at Pep Boys! I always come here for my tires and oil changes, and every visit is a great experience. The staff is consistently pleasant, welcoming, and professional. Their outstanding customer service makes it easy to keep coming back and always feel comfortable and taken care of.
My car was leaking oil I called they told me to bring it in when I could because I missed my appointment time they told me they had to do a dye test which the guy said it was going to take three hours to do it took less then 20 minutes for them to tell me where my oil was leaking from so I had them do that and an oil change but then the guy Sal kept telling me I needed two new front tires that my tires were bald and I should replace them I hustled got two new front tires a month ago there is no way they are bald and when I got my car back I checked my front tires and they are bald they are perfectly fine they were trying to add more money to the already very expensive thing I ask Sal when I was picking up my car did they top off all my fluids and I named them all and he said yes I checked my car the next day the only thing they filled was my antifreeze and they overflowed it they didn’t top of my break fluid or my power steering fluid but when I ask the day before when I was picking up my car sal said they filled everything they said they did but I came back the next day to make sure everything was right and it was good just don’t let them try and sell u tired when u don’t need them because that’s what Sal was trying to do to me yesterday but other then that they did good
I got a flat today on my way into work around 6:30. Sam who is at the front desk took me last minute with them closing at 7pm. When I tell you I cannot thank them enough! They didn’t not give me a hard time, they helped me out with no problem at all. I don’t recommend coming at 6:30 like me, but I recommend this place a 1000 times over. Thank you guys.
Great price, great customer service and, very helpful! After catching a flat out of state, Pep Boys helped me out and worked fast to fix my problem because I was a walk-in. Thank you Sam! 🤗
Extremely responsive. Friendly Staff. Assistant Manager Sam helped me get ice out of crevices of my vehicle which prevented doors from opening. Would come again!
Highly recommend! I was a walk in for a better change and Sam made sure I was taken care of in under 2 hours to get me back on the road! Very kind and polite staff! She also explained everything to me and my dad throughly. If I’m in town I will be coming back! Thank you so much for everything
Pep Boys rescued me during my brief to trip to AC when I discovered a nail in one of the tires on my Tesla. They did a great job patching the tire. I was able to drive home in the snow without any issues.
Few days ago i had e flat tire in local parking lot in absecon . Not able to do it my self . Was stuck not sure how to get this tire fixed called a dear friend she came and she suggested we go to pet boys which was near. I must tell everyone the were amazing the assistant manager sam was so kind and just amazing i was upset put she made me feel so good. And assured me that everything will be okay not to worry she was great . Now how to some one come and put the on the car so one of employees was just finished his shift so he came to help me when i tell this amazing you men did was just fantastic his name is bradley Dint want any money all ask for was a hug forget to tell you Im senior citizen. This two amazing people are just great thank you sam and bradley and everyone at pet boys of absecon you are the best
Absolutely amazing quality. I was not charged for services they couldn't provide when my engine damage was SUPER intensive - Sam at the front desk was absolutely fantastic, and they were super prompt with running diagnostics and explaining everything at pick up. Reminder to check your oil, kids; dont rely on dash light sensors and pay attention to the mileage. Listen to your car and take it to this location if you notice anything weird, they have you covered!
Ok, so first of all, Sam the Assistant Manager is A1. She helped me tremendously and was nothing but kind from the time that I called for my appointment til the time of service. She fixed mistakes that she didn't even make. You don't always meet ppl that truly goes above and beyond but she did! I pray God continues to bless her and her family in the most amazing ways🙏🏾 Thank you so much Sam🤞🏾
The service at this Pep Boys was outstanding. Sam, the assistant store manager was amazing, she listened to what we needed for our car and after a full review of the car as well as detailed conversation we had regarding all options in terms of tire selection we purchased a set of tires as well as an oil change. My wife and I are so happy and amazed with the service. Also we were so impressed with the attention to detail by Sam. Its a must for anyone to take a ride to the Pep Boys in Absecon, NJ. its well worth the trip.
The front end associate as well as the technician were very professional about addressing my repair job. Initially my tire was mounted incorrectly, and they escalated the job to mount it correctly. I returned after 2 days because balance weights weren't properly sticking with the wheel. Attachment point was cleaned and new weights were installed promptly.
I observed the technician taking time to thoroughly remove corrosion from my wheel to ensure there are no leaks.
Visited Pep Boys for routine service. The staff was professional and the inspection was thorough, but the experience was mixed.
The report included several recommended services, including a brake fluid exchange noted as low/dirty. While I appreciate a detailed inspection, some recommendations felt more like upsells than clearly necessary at this time. Pricing was also on the higher side, and clearer prioritization of what was urgent versus preventative would have been helpful.
Overall, not a bad experience, but not great either. Better transparency around recommendations would improve it.
I had an excellent experience at this Pep Boys location. From the moment I arrived, the store was clean, organized, and welcoming. Most importantly, the customer service was exceptional.
Sam was absolutely awesome—attentive, patient, and genuinely helpful. My truck had an issue that required Triple AAA to figure out the logistics, and Pep Boys graciously allowed me to keep my truck there during the process. That level of understanding and accommodation truly made a stressful situation much easier to deal with.
Sam kept me informed, showed great professionalism, and made sure I felt supported the entire time. This is the kind of customer service that keeps people coming back. Highly recommend this Pep Boys for both their cleanliness and their top-tier customer care!

I had a positive experience with Pep Boys recently. I went to purchase new tires, but the Absecon location did not have them in stock. However, another location did, and Sal was very helpful; he went to retrieve the tires and acted professionally throughout the process. My car was completed by the end of the day with all necessary services. Both Sal and the mechanic stayed a few extra minutes to finish the job and return my vehicle. Sal and the mechanic provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend Pep Boys in Absecon
Great, quick and friendly service. Samya checked us in and was incredibly helpful. Getting new tires can be a pain, but it was quick, efficient with a comfortable waiting area.
Greetings i wanted to edit this review cause the manager sam reached out to me , even though the employee said he pointed out the total I would of taken it elsewhere cause. My mom uses high test fuel ⛽️ for her car & it passed state inspection as well i still think there should of been some type of kick back being this is a first impression of me doing business with them & the manager was adamant about the cost which was still 3xs than what I initially expected to spend, so I guess since nothing in my favor was granted ill just adjust the rating hopefully corporate can make a adjustment on their behalf ill just take it to Walmart going forward 🤷🏾😉😉
Great service and experience thanks to Sam helping us and getting our ticket in order. She should be promoted due to her care and willingness to help the customers. Sam would be the reason I return if my vehicles need any service in the near future. Devon also did a great job doing the work on my vehicle. I recommend them all day!
5 stars ✨ is not enough!!! Sam and Noah saved our lives!!! Literally!!! My bestie and I were in the area for a much needed girls’ getaway when we came out to find a nail driven into the wall of my right passenger front tire and the pressure light on at 5!!! There was no way we could drive back to the hotel let alone back home like that!!! It was too close to the edge for repair. It was about 6 pm and time was not on our side!!! After being turned away by a competitor ( a crotchety old man that had a hideous soul, empty eyes, snarky comments, knurly hands probably from being a money grabbing son of a gun that resembled a troll from a fairytale) who told us over the phone to come on in, we had an hour before closing time to have the tire fixed. Need less to say he lied!!! As we left , we prayed silently and drove carefully a short distance to a safe haven and HELP!!! First of all, Sam was very kind and understanding!!! She never over promised and I appreciate her setting the expectation, that she would do her best, but she may not have the tire that I needed and if she did, there were two people ahead of me and she had to check with her only mechanic that was still available. Miracle 1, they had the tires I needed!!! Miracle 2, Noah was a God send!!! He was thoughtful and took into consideration that it was cold, we were women and we would not be able to get home!!! That was humanity!!! In a time where businesses are often driven by bottom lines it’s great to come across a business that has a soul!!! I felt like I was treated like family!!!! Kudos, high fives and big ups!!! I would recommend this location again and again!!!! VERY WELL DONE!!!
Great team and establishment! I took my car in for some emergency work and Sam was super helpful. The team was able to be flexible and savvy on the work and were able to get me in and out and back on the road safely in no time.
Spoke with Mel, and he was very polite & understanding of my problem. He set up my appointment, which was made on time. I was greeted by a very nice girl at the counter. Work was performed by a very respectable fellow, Matt , who did the needed repairs with no problem. I would recommend this particular Pep Boys location to everyone.
I had a nail in my driver’s side front tire and Pep Boys was able to repair it quickly. The service was honest, affordable (only $25), and efficient. I had a great experience and this definitely won’t be my last time using them!
They got me in last minute service was quick for 4 tires. Sal was great explained the tires and the warranty. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. I always get my car serviced there.
Manager Mel , manged the whole process to ease my concerns with a show car. It was brought in for tired and brake flush. Guys in the shop weren't screwing around playing. Everybody was professional. Yes I would return again. Btw car returned in exact same condition it was provided

Sam’s friendliness, warmth, and professionalism really stood out—she turned a stressful situation into a positive experience. Pep Boys is my go to shop! James and the rest of the technicians are fantastic. Appointments are the fastest way to receive reliable and fast service. Although they do their best to accommodate walk and call ins.
Noel, Mel, Matthew and everyone at this PepBoys really came through for me when I was in a tough spot! My car was having issues on a busy Saturday, and despite being packed with scheduled appointments and walk-in customers making urgent requests, they somehow managed to squeeze me in. The staff stayed remarkably calm and professional even with all the demands coming at them from every direction. The store had 5 walk in customers and 3 appointments come in while I was there, everyone including myself walked in with a problem hoping they fixed it, they all went out of their way to listen and actually care to help. Everybody from mechanics walking by when entering the shop to the service desk managers also all took the time to say hello when passing by after I checked in.
What impressed me most was how they handled the hectic atmosphere - they gave every customer attention while efficiently taking care of everyone's car problems. Not only did they fix my issue, but they did it without making me feel like I was imposing, despite not having an appointment. They even gave me other recommendations showing proof of suggested work needed including picture's and descriptions, taking the time to also do while this while swamped with a busy store.
This was hands-down the best service experience I've had at an auto shop. They turned what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth resolution. If you need car repairs, especially in a pinch, this is definitely the place to go.
I walked out of here faster than dealerships I've had appointments at!
They also were more than competitively priced.

This location and service was the best that I have recieved in a long time when it comes to auto anything! Noel took care of my needs and pointed me in the direction to best maintain my car. After an awful rude incident at a location two doors away being greeted with kindness and professionalism was greatly needed for this girl in need. Thank you Noel for making my day... literally!!!!
