I don't like to leave reviews like this but seriously. Went to the store hoping to buy one headlight before closing. Guy sat on the counter and refused to let me in. If you close before 8, you should probably reflect that in your signage and on Google.

Three hours to get a part from Absecon to Egg Harbor Twp. No updates to the shop, which meant no updates to me the customer. Not all of us have all day to sit around waiting on people. The biggest show of disrespect is not valuing someone's time. Do better.

THE SELECTION OF PARTS IS AMAZING AND THEY WILL INSTALL CERTAIN PARTS LIKE WINDSHIELD WIPERS! THEY ALSO CHECK BATTERIES FOR FREE! I bought what I thought was brand new oil for my car. As soon as my dad went to start my oil change, he showed me the seal was broken and there was used oil inside. He brought it back to the store with the receipt from THE PREVIOUS DAY and we were told they couldn’t exchange it because there’s no way to prove we didn’t do it. They also made a comment that the label was old and “they don’t even sell that label anymore”. I was shocked and told them that’s interesting because I was able to purchase it right off of the shelf the night prior. They gave my dad 40% off the new bottle of oil, but I think it’s ridiculous we had to buy a whole new bottle when the one I got obviously shouldn’t have been on the shelf in the first place. The gentleman who rang me out for the oil originally also wasn’t very nice and skipped through my phone number after I tried to put it in for my perks. I wanted an emailed receipt which he also skipped through after I selected it on the screen. Just an overall bad experience.

I had purchased this set of headlights for my vehicle. I purchased the more expensive headlights as they came with a one year warranty. When I went to return them, they stated that I could not return it because it was after 45 days. I explained to them that it clearly states on the receipt that if defective item is returnable within one year. They still would not return the item. Horrible customer service, even spoke with corporate and they offered me a $40 speed perk reward. The cost of the bulbs were $90 for the pair. This is false advertising. How can you offer a one year warranty on an item and the item is being returned for a defect within that year and not honor it.

The employees here are not trained and lack customer service . Apparently advance auto parts advertise stating free installation for wipers , batteries etc and yet these guys here are lazy to do that. Had the audacity to tell me autozone will provide free installation. They just lost the business for my fleet of vehicles .

Having car trouble sucks. I was frustrated about all the questions being asked about my car ,I had to Walk away from the counter.i was getting ready to leave,the technician came out to my car and talked to me,he looked up my make model and parts using my license plate. I was really surprised, I how nice and compassionate this man was,and I would say it's a dieing breed someone who went well beyond with customer service like the old days before these people who think they are owed a tip for just standing in front of me . advanced auto parts in Absecon is worth your trip.

All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. They always have what you are looking for at reasonable prices. Great convenient location. This store has been a lifesaver at times. Other local competitors just do not compare.

This location (rt. 30 in Absecon) is great. The staff is friendly and helpful, and their inventory is much better kept than some of the other locations around here.

Went in to get a battery first thing in the morning after being refused service at Auto Zone after only needed a battery for my car. The gentleman was very nice and very helpful. I hope the reviews below don't mix up Advanced Auto parts with Auto Zone up the street. That place is a disaster

Horrible experience! I would not call this customer service. On July 11, 21 my husband went in to get oil. There was a special and he may have brought up the wrong product but it was the one above the sign. Instead of Kevin O. assisting and providing customer service by saying, wrong product the correct one is…. or do you want me to get the one that’s on sale? Kevin O. decided to tell my husband he was “insignificant.” Stay away from this place. No one should be spoke to in that manner and Kevin O. should not be employed there.

I hope that the owners of this business teach their employees to have passion and great interest,What is the use of having business if they do not take their buyers seriously ..

The customer service at this particular advance Auto parts store is top-notch. They helped me find both the oil and filter types I needed for my new truck and kept me up-to-date on all in-store deals prior to check out. I'll definitely be coming back should I require anything else for my truck in the future. Thank you! A++

Even if your the second person in line, you can wait 19nto 12 minutes to check out. Other employers just walk by when you know they could ring you up. I hate coming here but they do have the parts I need.

I went to get wiper blades. Inattentive staff. My presence in the store seemed to interrupt their gossip session. No greeting. No acknowledgement of me as a customer till I stepped to the counter to pay. Their conversation continued like I wasn't even there. Ill try pep boys or auto zone instead

I was in need of just getting a Reading for my car.....and 2 people(employees) were in the store, one was outside when I got there, and the other said "Oh , we cant DO THAT, theres only 2 of us in here"....so then why was other girl...coming from outside with a customer. They were very inefficient and seemed to not have a clue of Why they were even there. Please hire people that at least LOOK LIKE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. We even offered to compromise n offered to run gadget to get printout of reading. Its unreal ...we had to go another 2 miles or so to go to AUTO ZONE. I will be giving them my business from now on, it's not worth getting treated poorly just to get car parts to fix my car. Very dissatisfied and will be spreading the word NOT TO ATTEND THIS PARTICULAR ADVANCED AUTO. ....SOO UNHELPFUL AS WELL AS UNPROFESSIONAL....2 THINGS THAT DO NOT SIT RIGHT IN MY BOOK. WATCH FOR THEIR ""CLOSING SHIFT""....These are the ones to deal with. Hope you like having a crowd full of unhappy patrons, like I told them, I will make sure they are reported. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly so far I've had absolutely no issues with anything that they've assisted me with... There has been a couple places before that misguided me with incorrect information... But these guys are pretty good

Used to be a good parts store, when they hired competent people. As of right now there's maybe a max of 4 people who can find the parts you look for, if you happen to deal with anyone else chances are you'll be told they don't have it. As of recently I was in looking for a freezeout plug in a common diameter; 1 1/2 inches, and was told they didn't have it and that all they had was what was out on the shelf. I called the next day and asked if they had freezeout plugs and guess what! they had one! In the exact size I needed and it wasn't the rubber type that you tighten up and expand so needless to say I'll be only dealing with certain people next time
