Went to get rear brakes.....as I was sitting there, I was asked, not very nicely, where my keys were.....I said the key fob was by the shifter.......when he came back in again, I asked him if he found it and again, answered me, not very nicely yea.........
Rude staff called to get a price on their inspection abd git 1 of the rudest people I ever met. He made sarcastic remarks about pricing and demanded me for even calling and asking . Thankfully I found an online link woth all inspection stations . This guy claimed they ate the cheapest well this is incorrect. I found several cheaper then them in NH. I will never call for any service again here . Not because of proce but simply by the Ryde additude I got on the phone.
I had a sudden issue with my calipers, and was able to get my car dropped off and repaired the day I called. It was extremely helpful, and I felt safe being able to get that fixed.
I work long shifts and often have to drive across the state for my job. Over the past few weeks I noticed one of the tires on my vehicle was consistently going flat regardless of being filled several times. I figured I had caught a nail in my tire, or had a bad seal. I called Eastman Automotive on one of my only days off and they told me to bring the car right over. Tom helped me at the desk when I arrived, and I left the car to be serviced. I received a call within 10 minutes and was told that the problem was a faulty tire pressure sensor that was allowing air to leak around it. Tom explained all of the possible repair options and quoted me a price for each before he performed any work on the vehicle. Once I told him which option I preferred, repairs were completed within an hour and I was back on the road. The staff was friendly, informative, efficient and had excellent customer service. I will be back to Eastman Auto when I need more work done.
Been going to these guys for a few years now for inspections and repairs (mostly exhaust work). They do what they say for what they estimate. Solid and reliable. I wish they had a better location but considering the good work they do it's worth the trouble getting around all the construction.
this shop is listed as a state inspection site - $40. When I called asking if there would be time for an inspection I was asked if I had been smoking something and told to check my sources and that they are not a church or the government and don't do inspections. I can't speak to their services as mechanics, but they were disrespectful over the phone. But hey...maybe there is an inverse relationship between being good with people and being good with cars.
I brought my car in Friday morning to have them look at the heat shield. The gentleman at Eastman had it up on the lift, fixed and me back on the road in minutes. I will definitely take my car there again.
Eastman has been a very helpful auto shop for me. I normally do maintenance at my dad’s shop in Massachusetts but twice now have been required to get the car repaired at Eastman Auto. I’m happy to have someone local that I can count on to be knowledgeable and fair. My experiences have always been pleasant and have successfully got my car back on the road at the right price and in a reasonable time. I have also used them for inspections. I highly recommend Eastman to people in the Upper Valley. I recommend a full service automotive shop like Eastman for inspections/maintenance because they will do more than just go through a checklist and may save you a surprise in the long run. 242k miles and counting.
They're cheap, but the guy I've dealt with a few times didn't have a clue. I once had break pads that were stuck and overheating. He couldn't find anything, and assured me the brakes were fine. I coached him on what to look for, then he finally found the problem. I don't go here anymore. Wouldn't recommend.
Did a tuneup and oil change. Would recommend. They also let me know of some other potential issues with my car which I appreciated. The issues they noticed was not something that their shop could fix so its not like they were trying to get more business or anything, just looking out for me.
These folks are honest, friendly, and professional. They're everything that a neighborhood small business should be. I highly recommend Eastman Automotive to anybody who's looking for a garage that stands behind their work, at a fair and reasonable price.
I moved up here about three years ago, Eastman was recommended to me by someone who lived in the area for many years. Ive brought my car there about a half dozen times. They have always been extremely fair with me. The first time I brought it there I was under the impression I would be replacing an evap canister. These guys found a way to bandage it up for me for about an 8th of the cost. It lasted two more years with the patch they put on it. They've replace wheel bearings, breaks, tires, and an evap canister (eventually) and never once have i paid what the estimate said. Its always been well under the original estimate. One time I had to get two new front tires, an inspection sticker and a wheel bearing and the quote was around $550. I showed up the next day all the work was done, it had a fresh sticker and the bill was under $250! These guys deserve a lot of credit. Always solid work done in a timely manner. Another one of the reviews I read said they (employees) don't know how to talk to people. I could see how someone might think that, both the guys i've seen working there are a little bit quiet and to the point but honestly that's what I expect from a mechanic. I always boast to my friends and family about how great these guys are. Needless to say i would highly recommend giving them a shot. I hope this review has been helpful.
I have been taking my vehicles here for over a decade, never once have I regretted it. Always honest upfront diagnoses, never feel like you are being deceived. My car is approaching 200k and still runs like a dream.
It's a shame there aren't more recent reviews for Eastman Auto. A change in ownership in the last 2 years has made this place a much more pleasant and helpful place to go for work with great estimates where no work is done without customers' permission. Friendly and professional and honest service is a plus nowadays for me!
