A couple months ago my husband was looking for new tires and we called up Monro to get pricing and the manager picked up the phone and offered my husband a “special deal” on his 4 “barely used” continental tires. Reluctantly my husband and I agreed to this because we have gotten tires from them before and it was always a pleasure. Little did I know this was all don’t under the table and with in a couple months we’ve gone thru ANOTHER 4 tires 3 cracked rims all due to this continental tires we stupidly bought from this manager and boy do I wish we remembered his name. Watch out
My wife and I have been bringing our cars in for general maintenance for years and we’ve always felt taken care of with upfront price estimates and no surprises at the end. Cars have been finished on time so we can go about our day. Anthony and crew always go above and beyond for us.
Brought in for second time about same issue. Got charged $100 for diagnosis again. Nothing definitely found as an issue, so they replaced my gas cap and charged $54 for a $10 gas cap. Additionally, i was informed that my back brakes needed replacement because they were at a 3 of 10. The sad part is it was in 2 weeks ago and I was told by a different mechanic that the back brakes were at a 7 of 10. HMMM... That much difference in a 2 week span. I won't be returning to this service center due to all of this. On top of this the person I dealt with yesterday gave me an attitude. I spent almost $1000 when I broght the vehicle in 2 weeks ago and told it was in great shape..... Beware of taking your vehicle here........
I've experienced great service here each and every time I need my car looked at and fixed. They are very efficient and go above and beyond to help. If you need service , go see Anthony! Highly recommended!
Shop was excellent. Chose this location to handle my oil change as well as get replacement tires. Very knowledgeable and made an excellent recommendation for tires for my Tundra.
This place is amazing! I have a land rover I had issues that Land Rover couldn’t fix for less than $6k. The owner Anthony (a very humble but on my opinion a brilliant guy). Fixed my car for under $800 and it’s running beautifully. They did my tires too l! that was quick and at a very good price and a very simply experience. These guys deserve the 5 stars!!!
Work always good but financial always sketchy. Quoted $740 for rear breaks and one tire sensor. Picked up next day and bill was $1040. They said they found something else in brakes but never called to ok cost increase. Wont use them again
I needed a pre-purchase inspection done on a vehicle I purchased in New Hampshire and because I live a couple of states away I had to go with a mechanic I was unfamiliar with. At every point during the process the staff at Monro were fantastic! I appreciated the flexibility of the Saturday hours. The mechanic who looked at my car was amazing. He was thorough with the inspection, printed out pictures of the things that might need some work in the near future, and explained everything in a simple and clear manner. Overall, a painless and positive experience!
Good quality service at market prices. The ability to setup appointments on line is a bonus. The work on tires was great and I may follow up for other services.
Went in for oil change, tire rotation, and inspection.
They called me saying I need new sway bars and they would cost about $400. I asked if it needed to get done to pass inspection and they said it was needed to pass inspection.
I just wanted to get it done so I gave them the go ahead. After hanging up on the phone, I realized I should probably get a second opinion. So I drove down there and stopped them from doing work on the sway bars.
Sure enough, when I can back later in the day to pick up the car, i passed inspection. I was told sway bars would need to be replaced to pass inspection…guess that wasn’t true and they were trying to get some extra money out of me.
I made an appointment for my state inspection and totally spaced it. I showed up 2 hours late and they said “no problem, we’ll squeeze you in”. Now that’s customer service! The guys are polite and honest and always do a great job. My whole family uses Monroe!
I had a nail in my tire and the tire was going flat. I showed up unannounced and they were able to fix it in less time than they originally estimated. The person I dealt with was so incredibly helpful. I was an hour away from home at a work meeting. They were so helpful in a stressful situation.
I highly recommend the Monroe Auto Center in Hampton NH. I recently had an inspection there and they were very honest. They passed my car and told me I didn’t need any work done. I have gone elsewhere where they try and pressure you into buying parts and and services not needed. The staff was very friendly and polite.
I ended up with a nail in the rim of my tire while driving my two daughters back to New York. The issue was immediately addressed and everyone was so professional, communicative, helpful, and friendly. They replaced both rear tires at an excellent price and got us back on the road in just over an hour. I am so grateful—you guys are awesome!!
The are the best they truley know the meaning customer i went in for a few ? And they gave me 110%.satisfaction no need to shop the other shops they will take you for a ride and way overcharge you as i had to pay meenike just for them to check. My car wish i came to monroe 1st the #1 one shop car repair they treted me with integrity trust and respect Thanks
Traveling and had a bad CV axle on are truck. Was able to pull in and have repairs done so we could continue vacation and pull camper. Staff was helpful and understanding. Highly recommend repairs here!!!
I have been bringing my old Subaru to Anthony and his team ever since I bought the used”lemon.” I can honestly say that it has never driven better-and it feels safer since Anthony took thorough care and skill in repairing it-several times! Great experience with Monroe at Hampton, we didn't even had an appointment and they took us in knowing we needed to inspect a new car and do oil change and new tires on another one, and it was Saturday! They did work really hard to accommodate our needs, Winter tires they provided are great quality and gave us a reasonable price too. Definitely recommend them.

They took great care to get my heater going in my car. Cost was much less than expected. All staff were great. Anthony did all work on my car. Will definitely return for any car issues I have.
I had an installation appointment somewhere else where they couldn't end up doing it, so I called here at the last second to install four tires and they happily squeezed me in. In the past - at other places - I've had a hard time being a woman trying to communicate or get what I need from mechanics, but this team was so welcoming and so helpful that it really made my day. When I was sitting in the waiting room, another customer was there telling me that this was the only place he goes, that he loves the service. I will absolutely go back, And I highly recommend this place.
I highly recommend this car shop. I have had 2 incredibly positive experiences there. The manager clearly really cares about his customers and establishing relationships with them. The workers are also very friendly and kind. I feel very taken care of there. I went to them with a screw in my brand new tires and they fixed it for free after having a wheel alignment done there the week prior. I plan to go to this location for any car issues/maintenance moving forward. I feel lucky to have found such a great place soon after moving in town!
I went in for a flat tire, and they were amazing. They did an overall and let me know about some big things another mechanic missed literally the day before. Then when the tires came in and I asked for my brakes to be done they did it very fast, plus they fixed my back bumper for me. All for a pretty fair price. But what really made my visit was that they spoke to me like I was a person, not a female who didn't understand cars. I have had alot of people act like I can't comprehend any car information, but not at Monro auto service. Go there, you won't be disappointed.
The new Manager is simply great! Great service, highly skilled guys and very professionals. Came here to buy 4 new tires after being dumped by Sullivan's and Town Fair with same answers: ni time, come tomorrow, too busy, no stock..too lazy, but these guys at Monroe really appreciate their customers. Highly recommended!!!
