Ben at Alpine Towing is the best! Had such a great experience working with him today, and his driver (sorry, forgot his name), but they were both so helpful, friendly, professional, and competent. Really went above and beyond to help me out when I needed a tow. Highly recommend using these guys, I will definitely be calling them if I ever need help again.

I have never used this company, but I know Benson personally who works for them and he is a standup guy that won’t do you wrong. Hopefully you get lucky enough to end up with him as your driver whenever you need a tow!!

Over the last 15yrs, Alpine Tow has rescued me in car situations. I am most grateful for the time they rescued me in a blizzard on Mt. Rose. They have always treated me with kindness, respect and courtesy.
Alpine Towing was kind enough to educate my daughter and myslef of these 'middle man " companies overseas that contact the Towing company (locally) charges you up front (when your wallet is stuck in the car!) For 2 to 6 times more than it would cost directly calling the Towing company itself. They tried to charge my daughter freezing to death in a ski resort parking lot, $700 to merely get into the vehicle where the keys were locked inside. The owner of Alpine Towing was kind enough to explain this SCAM to me. They wouldn't send a truck until the transaction was completed. How this is allowed to happen in this Country is disgraceful. Thanks to Alpine Towing my daughter and I learned a very valuable lesson. CALL ALPINE TOW COMPANY DIRECTLY (Or any other company) the area code will march, and also you can pull up there website to get the information you need, so you don't endure what my daugjter just went through. THANK YOU ALPINE, FOR SHINING A LIGHT ON A PPROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.
I wanted a tow to a mechanic for an SUV that wasn't starting even though the battery was recently replaced. Called Alpine Towing, with their expertise they diagnosed and fixed the issue on the spot. No towing was needed in the end and they saved me a nice sum of money.
Alpine towing, Ben, came to help us up on Mt. Rose highway. Ben was kind and went above and beyond to help me and my daughters to get home safely. Highly recommend!
I used them through AAA, were friendly and got the job done! I was on a trip with family and my lowered Acura Integra had a partial brake failure on the tail end of a busy travel weekend in North Lake resulting in me needing a tow 104 miles down the hill to my house. I informed them my car was lowered, and they safely loaded it onto the flatbed using blocks so my front bumper didn't get scraped, kept it safely in their yard, and got it down the hill to my house the very next day! Updated me regularly on the progress and were able to drop it off at my driveway while I was gone at work with zero issues and my car was just how I left it! Solid service and solid job, performed to realistic expectations.
I use this company all the time for my many vehicles because they are the best in the area. Sure the service requested various on many factors but I promise anyone that calls here won't be disappointed by the end of the day, they really know their stuff and sometimes will fix your problem as a kind of road mechanic. They are willing to lose money on towing you just to help you get back on the road because they care about servicing everyone in need on every day allotted them. I've been grateful to have them service my cars over the years.

Not proud of it, have become aggressive with them all due to my misunderstanding, and let me tell you, they still serviced me and didn't correct me of my wrong doing! I figured out the miscommunication and severely apologized a few days later for my behavior. None the less, I must say I put them through the ringer and they responded with patience yet the reviews on this speak as if they responded differently. I trust my instinct that you just can't appease everyone, myself included! That said this is a fine company that had helped me many times. I live here and the bay, been using them for the last 8 years now. I trust them and no one else. Trust me the wait is worth it, especially if your getting Ben! He is really good with vehicles and having him might result in fixing you vehicle over all. Trust me, he knows his stuff!
Please don't loose your attitude from the tourist that ruin our community through the season and their reviews on local businesses! Thank you Alpine towing, you really are the best service offered in North shore. I have had damages to my car from other towing companies in the area because i couldn't wait for you and they fought, lied, and lost the insurance battle for the damages my car. My loyalty is with you forever and I'm willing to wait for the integrity and professionalism of your operators, especially Ben!
Ben quicly sent Lupe who perfomed a successful service. Also alerted me to a towing scam in Tahoe Cty which I was able to extract myself from with Ben's advice. Alpine is a fine business.

Was contacted by them for a AAA tow. The guy was so rude, arrogant and unprofessional. He belittled me and gave the worst customer service. I felt uncomfortable and cannot believe AAA has this company as a provider. I wouldn’t trust them towing my car anyway now that I know what type of people they are, he did me a favor by being so rude. I tried to be accommodating and understanding yet he wanted to try to prove a point, talk bad about other local businesses, and tell me what I should and shouldn’t do with servicing my vehicle. He ended up sending me back to AAA, acting like he was too good to tow me and he then proceeded to call and text me. I feel uncomfortable and harassed by this person. Do not trust them.
Awesome service through Dan and Patrick getting our car unstuck after a storm. It was a very challenging job to say the least, and they got the car out on touched. Very grateful.
Got locked out of my car as the snowstorm started. Ben was there within 40 minutes (he had to drive from Incline to Tahoe City.) He was extremely professional and very nice and got us back on the road quickly. Very happy with the service, highly recommend! Thank you Ben at Apline Towing!!!

She definitely went above and beyond trying to helps us get a tow even if at first it seemed they might not be able to do it based on the issues with my car. Once we figured those out, Ben showed up within the estimated time frame and was able to get my car into a shop. Alpine Towing was such a Godsend for my friend and I when we were stranded in someone's driveway and her car's ignition switch went out. We did need to get it in neutral so they could come get us. The other place we had tried seemed almost bothered we were calling and wanted to give us their "best advice," when really all we wanted was a tow! Their General Manager was actually the one who came to get us, and we had a really nice conversation as we drove to the repair shop. Also, Megan - who answered the phone - was so kind and courteous - we love Megan! Thank you again!
Breaking down or under pressure to move a car to the shop is never fun. Living in South Lake Tahoe with a number of classic cars I find myself in need of an expert more times than not. The team at Alpine Towing is kind, courteous and supportive on every level. They truly care about you as an individual and in making sure you are safe and back on your way as quickly as possible. This has not been my experience in South Lake Tahoe and am so thankful that Ben the General Manager, Megan in Dispatch and Daniel in towing have no problem sending support anywhere around the lake to save the day! There are not enough stars to thank this stellar team. Looking forward to you opening more Alpine Towing Centers around the Lake as quickly as possible!
Awesome experience with Daniel at Alpine Towing. Called through AAA after my Ram went into limp mode while on vacation. Daniel showed up within about 45 minutes (insanely fast for getting around Lake Tahoe) and was very friendly and kind. We got the truck loaded up, his tow truck was new, safe, and the correct size and type for a four wheel drive truck. He towed the truck safely and quickly to a Dodge dealer in Reno where it will go in for repairs. I was extremely impressed with my experience with Alpine Towing, especially during a stressful time. They've been operating in Lake Tahoe for 29 years and handled my situation perfectly.

Transmission went out on a saturday morning height of tourist season. They came via AAA, quickly , helped diagnose issue, took plenty of time to explore options, treated me respectfully, ended up hauling car to Roseville over weekend. Very satisfied do far. Recommend as they were very helpful in a big pinch!!

After needing a tow this past weekend, the call was made to AAA to arrange a tow. AAA dispatch the call to Alpine Towing and we waited. After an hour, which was the quoted time, the driver drove right past us didn't even stopped and kept on going with nothing on his truck. My friend call Alpine Towing to ask why he didn't stop, and he said "I don't have time" to which I asked why is that so when you're a contracted employee by AAA towing, and you get paid both directions for your services? He proceeded to say that he only gets paid one way, which is a lie because I have friends that are contractors for AAA. Thankfully we got the situation resolved, but I would not recommend this place if it was the last place on Earth to get your vehicle towed. You also might want to take a closer look at your AAA membership if you were to be in Lake Tahoe and needed a tow over the hill to either Nevada or Sacramento Valley.
Outstanding service beginning with Megan who went beyond just taking the phone call and dispatching a truck to a rental car accident. Driver Ben very professional and courteous - even got a follow up call from him making sure that we were able to get another car from the rental company. Both were a welcomed relief after receiving very poor service and multi hour delays from the rental company’s roadside assistance call center.
My car was needing to be towed to a shop here in town after another tow company had done some damage to it and Chris from Alpine towing drove all the way to Carson City from Incline to tow me. When he arrived he assessed the issue and was able to trouble shoot the issue with my cars computer and FIX the issue with out me even having to take my car to the shop. Je literally saved the day! I highly recommend him and Alpine towing.
