This shop took our money and the vehicle is in worse condition now than when it went in. After several attempts to reach the owner no calls have been returned. I'm out over $1,200 for repairs that failed. Very unethical to return a vehicle that does not work properly.
The Olsen's took care of us based on a recommendation of a transmission specialist on some body shop needs. They took care of a last minute request and had everything done in a few hours for way less than I was expecting to pay. I've already recommended them to a few other folks. We will definitely use them again!

Tim is a great guy, they took care of me very well. They replaced 2 catalytic converters and I bought the parts myself and they priced $200 less than any other shop I talked to. Also got me in earlier than originally scheduled and took care of it no problems, will definitely be coming back and recommending Olsen Auto
Hands down BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD! These guys were quick, quality, and EXTREMELY FAIR IN PRICE! Even gave me a punch card and gave me the first punch and after it's all punched out I get a free oil change. Will be returning for additional work. Olsen Auto is nothing shy of certified badasses! Also if they make a mistake give them to opportunity to fix it instead of bashing them.
Update: I brought my truck back to have more work done, they are literally exhaust surgeons. If you know who Rumpelstiltskin is they are the Rumpelstiltskins of the vehicle world. Taking a bland vehicle (straw) and turning it into something beautiful (gold). If you wanna know what a truck is supposed to sound like head on up to Olsen Auto and let them show you what a V8 is supposed to sound like.
Used Olesen’s many times in the past and had great service and great pricing and a great finished product, but not this time, which will be the last time…..
Was supposed to get an estimate cost before starting work, didn’t happen! Was supposed to get 2.5” exhaust, didn’t happen! Was hoping to discuss everything before services were completed, but didn’t happen! Wasn’t expecting to pay almost $1,000.00 for a new exhaust, especially when they had nothing to remove, didn’t finish it off with chrome tips and didn’t have to install catalytic converters. I could’ve taken it anywhere, except Blair, as I live in Omaha. Shame on them for taking advantage of my loyalty and good nature.
I swore off this company some years back. But I thought I would still get a bid for some work that I needed done and I did make an appointment. After I left I found someone to do it at a much cheaper rate. I then contacted Olsen's to see if I could just buy the part from them since I had already made the appointment and I didn't want them to be out the money for the part. After trying to reach them twice I never heard anything back. So long story short this company still isn't dependable.
Have been a customer in the past and present. These guys always come thru and do exactly what they say they are gonna do. The best part is that the price is always fair! I highly recommend them.
Don't trust them. The owner will let his kid joyride your vehicle and then lie to cover for him, even though he left McDonald's trash, cigarette ashes, and damage to my interior. Said he was "checking for codes". Had it hooked to a computer the next day, they had never cleared the original codes. So just a joyride. All I needed was a battery

Must have people they know leaving reviews. There is no way a shop this shady and destructive has 4.8 star reviews. They destroyed more than they fixed.
We used this shop to fix our exhaust and install new tires on our Malibu. They literally destroyed 3 of the 4 rims on our car. They destroyed one so bad they had to order a new one. Then they destroyed the new one and installed it anyway. The car handled better when I took it to them than it did after they installed new tires. It shook so bad after I picked it up that I had to take the car to a actual tire shop and they informed me that 3 rims we're bent along with chunks missing out of the chrome. Destroyed a $2600 set of rims. The tires they installed looked more like used tires than new ones. Just do yourself a favor and stay away for these guys unless you need your car destroyed.
Excellent place to get work done on your vehicles. They're very honest and won't try to screw you over. They complete work in a timely manner, and if they come across a problem that might cost you more, they call and discuss it with you first. Would highly recommend this place for all of your vehicle fixing needs...
Our Check Engine light came on and car was running rough. Pulled into Olsen's and even though they were extremely busy, Tim (the owner) quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it, did a test drive and we were set to go. Great service, and due to the fact that we were far from home, Tim's helpfulness was much appreciated.
Was quoted a price on rack and pinion replacement for my truck, they found the best rack at the best price for me, kept it within their quote, and I had my truck the next day. These guys are honest, friendly, affordable, professional and do awesome work. Highly recommend Olsen auto repair.
Tim is a great mechanic always willing to speak to me about what ever mechanical issues I may have ingrown of me . being an owner of a construction company break downs happen often.... thanks for your help

Dropped my car off at 10am and was told it would be a long wait, so one of their technicians gave me a ride to my parents house so I wouldn't have to wait in the shop for my car. They finished the job at around 2pm and the final price of the work done was very reasonable, considering it wasn't an easy job. I bought a stock frontal exhaust pipe, including the flex tube, and didn't have the know-how to install it myself. Showed them the part I bought and asked if they could install it, they gave me an estimate beforehand and said it would be $200 or under which is exactly what I'd had in mind. Good service, fair prices, not fast by any means, but if you want a job done right, don't rush it. Would come again
Had my truck exhaust done their , Tim had done many vehicles for me I am very happy with the work they have done .Dose good work nice guy up front people.
Tim and his crew are the real deal! Im going out of my way to give them 5 stars. If i could give them 100 i would! Got dual exhausts and a performance chip thingy at his cost. They did installation very quickly and welded it to perfection. Already got compliments and i have only driven it for 2 hours! He saved me several hundred dollars from all around town! If you go anywhere else you are throwing money away literally. Will be bringing my truck back for everything else i plan on upgrading as they are a full service garage!

I had Olsen Auto look at a car before I purchased it from a dealer in Blair (I'm not local) - I paid ~45 dollars for a "Full XX point review". My first warning flaired up when their report recorded the wrong mileage (144k, when in actuality it was 89k) - If you can't pay attention long enough to write the mileage down - how is your attention to detail going to be for the rest of the car? Anyways I got my report back which shouted no abnormal issues - their reviews thus far have been great so I shrugged off the mileage issue and went with their diagnosis. I took the newly purchased car into my local dealer to have the brakes done (I knew these needed to be changed when I bought the car). I didn't even ask them to look at the car, yet they appeared to have done a BETTER job than Olsen, FREE of charge. Dark Transmission Fluid - signifying the fluids old or there has been neglect in flushing. You checked the fluid, how do you not notice this?!!? It's because you didn't really check... Come on... The rear diff and the transmission are not OEM to the vehicle (Again, if you're not really looking at the damn car, then of course you wouldn't notice this) My local dealer said (and showed me) that there are markings on the parts indicative of being salvaged parts (in the sense that it was taken off of another car from a yard). I probably would have liked to know that before I bought the car, Olsen...
I don't normally write reviews, but you can clearly see I'm unimpressed, if not ANGRY for your lack of work. I'm not local, but if I was you would be damn sure I would be demanding my money back and I would NEVER, EVER, take my business to you again. And I would recommend the same to others.

Tim is awesome! Our car lost power on the interstate coming from Lincoln. We found our way to Tim's shop and he not only fixed our car at no charge, but fed us pizza! Thank you, Tim!
