Penny Pincher’s Discount Grocery is a hidden gem! I FINALLY got to stop by! We're from Carthage (1+ hours away) but travel to Arkansas every so often and convinced my husband to go out of the normal way home so we could swing by WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!
It's not a very large store and I'm guessing a family owned/operated? place. They had an interesting assortment from tiny packets of salt to 50lb bags of rice (they were only $20!)
The staff (lady and a teen) were sooo nice and helpful. The items we purchased have been great! We're gonna put the cooler in the trunk so next visit we can pick up some meat. That prosciutto was soooo tempting tho a HUGE slab for $50! They also had a wedge of pecorino for an amazing price.
If you have a big event and want the most bang for your buck, this would be a good place to start. My daughter is getting married and once we're closer to the date hopefully they have a shipment of the Prosciutto and cheese in. That alone would save on Hors d'Oeuvres, add on a few of their briskets, already diced potatoes (like $2.50 for 3 or 5lbs), yeast roll mix (like $4 and makes 55 rolls) and we got a "fancy" meal for a fraction of reg store prices.
I've now mapped a new route to and from home just so we can stop by each time. Lol
Sometimes you can get good deal here, but the bogos run out fast and they don't restock so you have to pay regular price for whatever you want.
Some items are they same as any other store so just compare when there.
They have gone down hill since I first started going there. For a discount grocer they are higher than a regular store. They used to have a wide selection of fresh produce, now it's a joke.

I love that they have tons of staples including Hiland Milk and vegetables for a fraction of the price of big box stores. They also regularly have containers (like to-go boxes or catering trays) as well as straws. There’s so many things to find here- check them out. It’s also fun to shop here when greeted with smiling faces. This store and the people inside are a gem!
Great place! Shopped first time today since I was in the area. I've been following them on Facebook and seen the deals. Found some great deals on frozen fish and shrimp. There was great deals on frozen pastries and prepacked pastries and also on general bulk items. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping by
On days that you can catch them, they have sales that turn great prices into amazing prices. They also have a punch card that gives even more discounts if you spend over $10. They've begun carrying some produce that has to be used quickly.
This place is such a beautiful place to go because of the great deals but the store owner is a very lovely and kind person. I go there and easily spent $15-$20 bucks a week and will do so on the regular!
Lots of good stuff! Prices range from moderately discounted to "deep discount." I wish I could shop here every single day. They've ALWAYS got something I want! ?
This is my favorite discount store. They always have cold drinks in the cooler. There prices are cheap and you get great quality produce and groceries. I love when they have 3 gallon ice cream and their salmon is delicious. Go try them out, if you haven't yet.
The food is amazing! The only place I buy meat! They have a fabulous variety of everything you would buy in a big chain store but they have the best for less than you would pay for a discount brand. And the customer service is "family ". They are the best in food and treatment of their customers!
The owners are very nice everything is priced reasonable . I love this store it's like an indoor garage sale . I keep going back because it is affordable for me and you never know what you might find

Omg this was the most fun shopping ever! Prices so low, people too kind, told hubby I want to move out here just to be closer to this store! So many options for many kitchen needs so so happy with everything 100/10 will be back
Pinny Pincher's had some amazing prices. The Ribeye is what jumped out at me. There was cream cheese for 25 cents and dozens of other items as well. Staff was friendly
Lots of goodies in here. The majority of the canned items were the big bulk cans so if you need any of those this is your place! The freezer section had a lot of yummy looking foods. Great prices on everything.
Super friendly staff and an asset to the neighborhood, especially those that have no vehicle. You can walk to do laundry there and get most everything you need for dinner at affordable prices. Local vegis!!! Awesome, safe place for kids to walk and get a soda and candy for under a $1. Love it!!
Super place to find things at a reduced price. There are shelves full of institutional sized items, but also your everyday things. You can't beat inexpensive butter. There are frozen foods, beef, fish, seafood and poultry. I love this place. Go by, if you've never been. When you go take your saved plastic grocery sacks and paper bags to donate!
