The woman I talked to in the front was very nice and knowledgeable- providing me with much more information than I had previously thought.

This place was absolutely terrible. Between the service. The communication. And overall experience was terrible. When I got here had no clue where to go or what to do. No one speaks English. Was no where to turn around and or even equipment to unload metal. When I did get on the scale. They still brought my 12” pieces of aluminum inside and weighed on a tiny scale. 30 minute ordeal took an hour and a half. I have a dump trailer even.
Laura was so helpful. She informed me that they are open on Saturdays and that all metals are accepted there. And one of the highest exchange rates and I definitely friendly and professional
I found the staff here very friendly it wasn't as quick as another location. But they took more care helping me sort the metals and didn't make me feel rushed unloading.
Price was fair and I'll be back.
I deal with a lot of scrap yards at various times.
However Ace is the friendliest and easy to deal with scrap yard I've ever dealt with.
The owner is a wonderful lady and needs to be applauded for the job she does.
They run on a skeleton crew but yet I have no problem getting in and out of there easily and quickly.

The employees were nice but they pay way under what everyone else does. .40 a pound for cans when everywhere around is .60+. They pay .05/lb for scrap steel, did the math and the basically stole $40 and acted suprised when i called them out on it and still claimed they pay the best when i know thats a lie. Only thing they payed somewhat accurate to everyone else was the copper. 1/10 if you want nice people come here, if you want what your scrap is worth go somewhere else.
Don’t worry if you only have a small amount of metal, a bunch of appliances, or if you’re uncertain what metal type you have. The Saturday hours are very convenient for weekend home projects, and Ace’s friendly staff offers fair prices!
nicest fairest place ive been by far. staff friendly caring and trust worthy i wish ive been going there from the start. lady who seems to own or run ace is the best made me feel like family and wanted instead of a bother. love this place
I called at 7:30 in the morning to see what their prices were. I was quoted five to six cents per pound which is less than half of the going rate all over the Metro area.
$240 /lb, everywhere else.
I give this company 5 stars. My first visit there was a very pleasant surprise. 3 Generations strong has given them the experience of how to deal with customers. Prices are good and they are very honest about weighing your materials. 2 Thumbs and 2 Big toes up to you folks.
The worst the worst experience in scrapping if ever saw 3 cents for radiator a pound 4 dollars for battery 5 cents for copper wire by far the worst prices in scrapping history
Called ace scrap at 10:30 on april 13th 2020 the lady in the office quoted me $1.70 for my scrap we got ther not only did they short us on the weight of the scrap they put our scrap in with theirs b4 giving us a weight limit as far how many pounds we had. (which was well over 800 pounds) they wouldn’t calculate up our total in front of us told the guy on the dock accepting the copper in couldn’t add so the lady in the front had to do it for him and remember when I said she quoted us 1.70 for the copper ..... then she tried to give us 1.35 and if we wouldn’t have caught it we would have been out of more money from them. They shorted us and said we only had 400 pounds which was totally incorrect and when we told her that that wasn’t reasonable she stated there’s nothing she could do because it was already mixed in Which their copper so not only did they get us out of our correct weight of the copper they tried to short us on the copper amount after she quoted us a price over the phone this company is not where u want to scrap especially when Vince jacks is right up the street just a heads up (THIS COMPANY WILL TRY TO GET OVER ON U) definitely won’t look this direction ever again and seeing from their other bad reviews their probably gonna say they never serviced me b4 lol But it’s a lie lol post the receipt if I need to ....GO TO VINCE JACKS save your self a headace
This place is a joke. I brought 339 pounds of metal,31 pounds of clean aluminum, 1 pd copper,and 1 pd brass. $10.33 was the pay out. Wha tv a waste of time. Hey ace glad I could help you eat another day.

I have gone once to this place. They are extremely rude to people. I went into recycle cans so I went there that day. WORST mistake of my life. They have customers who purposely tell you the wrong place to go. Then when you tell them what's going on, they start treating you like you are a criminal and tell you that you are harassing customers. The daughter works for mom. Apparently she can't get a job anywhere else.... I can see why. If you have a problem with their service and call, they will deny any wrong doing..you have been warned not to do business with these idiots.
Ace Scrap Metal is a highly reputable organization. There prices are fair and far better then any other scrap metal dealer I’ve visited. Additionally they are always willing to explain how they arrive at that quoted price if asked. I’ve tried several other dealers, and they just don’t measure up to these guys. I will never go anywhere else.
I have been dealing with Ace Recycling for about 2 yrs, and I find them to be helpful and competitive on pricing. I routinely recycle once fired range brass by the hundreds of pounds at a time, and I find them to be professional, friendly and very helpful. Great people to deal with.
They wouldn't match the daily rate for scrap, as every other scrapyard had a higher daily rate. Not saying they're dishonest, but KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING before you head to Ace. They seem to take advantage of your lack of knowledge. If you act like you know, they tend to straighten up a bit. Sad that ya gotta be like that with them, but they wanna make high profits just like everyone else. If you walk in blindly, you will be blind-sided. And it's totally your own fault for not researching the scrap yard biz. Ace realizes that most people aren't willing to research prices before they show up...
Most of their prices are in the toilet. For example, most places pay $0.15 to $0.20/lb for electric motors, but this place actually pays you less for the motors than they pay you for the circuit boards you pull the motors off of. This place seem to have one of the better prices in the area for cast aluminum, and there are a few things that this place buys which most places in the area do not (such as circuit boards, for which their price is reasonable). Overall, generally speaking, the only reason to bring stuff here is if nobody else in the area buys it. Before bringing stuff here, call around and check prices first.
