Bob's rebuilt the transmission on my '06 Trailblazer. They did a great job and had great customer service. I had some questions after the job was completed and they took the time to answer my questions and recheck on a few items. They even went out of their way to take care of an item that turned out to not even be directly related to the transmission. Hard to find this kind of customer service these days.

Randy literally stopped and helped us when our tire popped on the highway in the middle of nowhere, late at night. He turned around and came back to help us. So grateful, and he did it quick too!

I went in for an emissions test. I called the day before and was able to make the appointment. I arrived on time but finding the actual building and entrance was difficult (minus one star). They were ready for me and the service was done in about 10 minutes. I paid & left out with my vehicle parked in the driveway towards the main street. That was helpful because it is confusing terrain. I came with a sensor about tire pressure and since their main advertisement is for transmission, I didn't mention the tire pressure indicator. When I got my car back, the light was out and weeks later, it's still not going off. That sealed the deal for Bob's. They're stand up & I would return!

I cant tell you how many shops i have used in my lifetime. In all that time I have found VERY few that knows how to be a mechanic, but also customer service. Bobs is one of these few. When I spoke to them i recieved respect, courtesy, and a real sense of empathy. I will be taking my cars to them moving forward.

Bob's has been our go-to place for zillions of different repairs for more than 30 years. They're the best. Earned our trust decades ago, never let us down. Not always good news, but always the truth. They have solved many ... MANY problems for us over the years, and we're quite thankful.

What a great team of people this shop has. Our office has always been right behind these guys but I never needed their services until the shop I was loyal to started putting guys with zero experience on my vehicles leading to down time on my vehicles which is a big no no as I’m a contractor on the move at all times. Thankfully James answered the phone when I needed help with one of my best guys pick up truck. He needed a new rear end, ball joints, tires, power steering rack, his leaking transmission fixed, and some shocks. Originally my employee only complained of the rear end screaming but after I took a look under the vehicle I noticed everything bobs had noticed as well which was listed above. May I mention I didn’t mention much to bobs transmission, they didn’t try and upsell me on anything. These guys are honest and took care of a huge problem for me and I was happy to pay them. The repairs ending up being around 6k which I thought was very fair considering I was footing the bill no matter the cost as I appreciate my best employee. Bobs you guys did such a great job for me, in return I will be taking every vehicle I own and recommending your shop to everyone I know.

Unethical, unprofessional, and overpriced. I was charged without being told beforehand about the service. They don't call when they say they will, and compared pricing to other mechanics is a huge disparity. I came here three years ago to get my catalytic converter replaced. I recently came back because the catalytic converter became faulty and I wanted to check if it would be under warranty. (They wouldn't tell me over the phone) The catalytic converter was under warranty but they claimed they couldn't fix it without fixing the upstream/downstream pipes. Therefore, it would be 2600$ without warranty and 1600$ with warranty (900$ parts and 700$ labor.) My current mechanic offered me a universal for 500$ and a catalytic converter replacement for a little under 1000$. In addition, they mentioned they didn't see why they would have to replace the pipes. Therefore, I told them I would not be needing them to fix the car and I was on my way to pick it up. When I got there, she said she couldn't get my car because there was a car in front of it. So if I could wait 45 minutes and she would give me a call. She never called but I showed up about an hour and a half later to see my car parked on the street. The worst part is, I got charged a 189$ diagnostic test that they didn't even tell me they were going to do. I feel that you should tell a customer that they are being charged for a service before providing a service. I seriously thought they were just checking if my catalytic converter would be under warranty. If your looking for a mechanic, you can find a better one. I seriously have one that charges 60$ for a synthetic blend oil change. I'm not trying to sell you on my current mechanic but there's something very crooked about this place.

This is the place! I'm from "CrookTown" (Miami), Florida ?? , and new in town so having honest, nice and friendly people who really want to help the CUSTOMERS FIRST ... is awesome! Special thanks goes to Jodi (someone give her a VACATION!!) and James for getting my Mercedes CLA axle, struts, bar and links and back to absolutely new! Not everyone wants to touch a European vehicle, but they did and did an EXCELLENT job! They really put their heart in to it and got it done! Prices were more than fair and everything else is best explained with STARS! Thanks again guys!

Dropped my Subaru to them. They ran codes, cleared my mileage, both A and B. B I use to determine when I need oil change/rotation of tires. They shouldn’t be clearing those if it’s not needed and it wasn’t needed. The computers don’t clear mileage. Never have..never will. I can take it to Autozone or O’Rileys and my mileage will not be cleared from the computer. Upon getting a call from them when I asked to be texted messaged the lady kept describing what they were looking at. I was at work and couldn’t be on the phone. That’s why I asked to be texted. They said an accident code had popped up and they needed to fix it. I gave authorization and waited…..for two days. During that time I used up to $100 in Uber rides since my Subaru is my only car. I should’ve decided to not drop my car off when I saw the MOUNTAIN of keys they had on their carousel/lazy Susan. Anyways after spending days waiting for a problem that they quoted me would be less than $200 at the most would be fixed. I came to pick it up. They cleared the code without fixing the code….very very pointless. Obviously they didn’t charge me since they didn’t actually do any work and my car had collected leaves. Which also tells me it sat..for how long? I don’t know. They also didn’t provide me with the code that popped up. Again pointless. But I will never return. Whoever I talked to on the second day they were kind. The first lady when I had asked to be text messaged pushed to stay on the phone. Again I was at work, but in dealing with my car I figured they wouldn’t call back or leave a message so I felt inclined to pick up. Please don’t ever use these guys unless you have other car to use.

This shop couldn't figure out why my truck would not run and it was just missing (antifreeze ) I brought in 2011 f350 I paid 9,500 labor and materials. They did a bad install and now they just won't take any tipe of responsibility for they're lack of workmanship. They took month to fix the truck. They brought outside of shop mechanic because they couldn't fix it they even took my truck without me knowing to Ford to work on it. And they couldn't get my truck to RUN. Because of long it took them it made a months of difference in my warranty to the point I was 60days short. And truck broke down because they did not place the transmission line bracket. They did not check their work. And all I ask after spending almost 10k in their shop was a little help fix the lines I'll pay for fluid but they said NO so this people have no Honer in their words. After seeing the reviews they do work bad and slow.

Appreciated the quick service, especially on a Friday! As a single female, I really appreciated not being oversold on repairs or talked down to either. Definitely bringing my vehicle back for any future work.

We continue to trust Jody and her most impressive team to maintain and repair our 1997 and 2000 automobiles. I find Jody to have the most patience and calm using her good judgement and most of all, willing to compromise in working with all her, sometimes, stressed out customers, including me. This company employs outstanding people with excellent morals and workmanship to do us all a service that makes this world a better place to drive around.

They broke my windshield, and were then extremely rude when I came back to tell them after leaving the lot and circling back 1 minute later when I noticed it. They only ended up paying for HALF of it too. I don't think Jody is aware she is in the customer service business. You've been warned. UPDATE: They called and did NOT offer to make things right by paying for the other half of the windshield they carelessly broke. They only asked me to take down the review.

My car has been sitting there for over 2 weeks, and every time I call they tell me that they are likely to get to it that day. They haven't even done a diagnostic yet. The person answering the phone is pleasant and courteous. Edit: I followed up as requested by Bob's Transmission & Automotive Service. I got the same reply that I have received every time, that it will be looked at right away. I don't expect all shops to have open times to accommodate my schedule, yet I would hope that a reputable shop would understand their own parameters and limits and advise accordingly. My car has been waiting for over 2 weeks now. I will update if anything changes. It should also be noted that this business came highly recommended. I have high hopes that my situation is an anomaly. Edit: I was finally told that my issue was complicated and that it was going to take a specialist to diagnose what was wrong with my vehicle. I wasn't given any apology for being strung along for over 2 weeks. Then I was told that they did run the codes on my computer. Simply running the codes doesn't require a specialist. I was informed that I had a bad oxygen sensor and was quoted just under $1k to have it replaced. From my research, that's about double what other shops would charge. My assumption is that they may have been a reputable shop at some time in order to garner such high recommendations, yet they would have to make tremendous shifts in ethics and prowess to ever gain my trust.

I have worked in the auto repair industry for over 40 years and have been involved with hundreds of transmission rebuilds with many different shops of which half were good experiences and the other half nightmares. I recently trusted James and the guys at Bobs Transmission with a vintage transmission rebuild. This was the best experience of them all, I was actually surprised by the fast turn around time, super low price and outstanding quality of my rebuilt transmission .. I will never go anywhere else .. big thanks to the guys at Bob's Transmission!

Bob's is my family. I have been with them for 12 years and have always been satisfied. The owner Jodi needs to train alot of managers in these different establishments on how the treat your customers. She is a bomb 10 out of 10. Way to go Jodi and her crew!!!!

I have a 1988 Toyota Dolphin. Hard to find people to work on them. After a horrible experience with another mechanic I came to this shop at my wits end. They were communicative about the issues and turned my Rv disaster into me driving out into open road. Highly recommend especially if you got an older vehicle!

I want to share the fine service work completed by Bob's Transmission and Auto Serv. I have a 1998 jeep wrangler 190K miles. It is one of four jeep wranglers that I have owned over the years. I can purchase new, but I enjoy driving something that is classic, lasting and more focused on purpose. They replaced the engine of this car. While it took some time (they have lots of work) they completed the task. Replacing an engine requires a lot of knowledge, skill and attention to detail. They tracked down a small oil leak and improved the idol with the replacement of the throttle sensor. They worked with me as the owner to see the job completed and to my level of need. Over the past 10 years I have had two transmission jobs completed by them, one in my 1997, and this 1998 jeeps. I provided them with time and no pressure ...meaning I gave them the time and freedom to select what would be best. I am very happy with the work completed and the staff were friendly. I found their pricing to be aligned with others. Not the lowest price but selected due to past service work. Since I had prior experience with them, I allowed them to complete the service. I felt good about helping their business and having them complete the replacement. Thank you. Shawn

Bob's went out of their way to make sure that I took the best route to repair with my Prius. They were able to repair individual cells in my hybrid battery saving me thousands of dollars. They did all that while making sure that I understood the process and met my questions with respectful answers. I would highly recommend this shop.

They were so wonderful to work with! We have a Honda 2012 mini van with 143,000 miles. We love our van and want to hang onto it for at least another 1-2 years. I went in with a list of things that I was told, needed to be done by Firestone. Bob’s checked everything I asked them to check. They told me that several of the items that they checked were fine and needed no attention, but there were about 3 things that would need to be addressed. I appreciated their honesty and didn’t charge me for something that didn’t need to be done. I brought it over the evening before and they had it completed the next afternoon. They were very friendly and very good at communicating with us.We will definitely go back!!

I took my car in to get a cracked oil pan replaced. The customer service is really terrible, especially the woman who answers the phones. It looks like this shop has more work than it can handle because they take a very long time to just diagnose a problem, never mind actually fixing it. My car kept leaking oil after the oil pan was replaced, and the plastic shield under my car fell half off. I took the car back to get it fixed. No apology, not even any eye contact when I went to pick up. It turned out that the mechanic who replaced the oil plan did a shoddy job and was fired. The woman who answers the phones got a sarcastic attitude with me, telling me that their shop does great work, that's why they're so busy. Yeah, right. So great that you have to fire mechanics for their awesome work. Don't take your car here. Maybe they're good for their long time customers, but if you're new, you won't be prioritized. And you'll leave your car there for two days and nothing will get done. Or it'll be done poorly by a shoddy mechanic they've hired to keep up with their workload.

I have been going to Bob's for over 10 years and I have never been disappointed. Jodi is wonderful and very patient. They have worked with me on everything. I refer them as often as I can. Bob's rebuilt the transmission in my 2003 f250 about 6 months ago and it has been working flawlessly. The guys are knowledgeable and even included new ground straps so I wouldn't run into issues in the future. I highly recommend Bob's
