First of all, it's great having this resource in western St. Charles County. However, roughly 50% of the time I go there to drop off recycles, the cardboard and paper bins are closed because they are full.
Well, I guess it is a plus they are full, because that means local residents are recycling! But, it is also a waste of my time, and I'm sure many others, to drive there only to find this out.
So, I have one question and two suggestions:
? - Are these bins emptied on the same day(s) every week. If so, that would be very helpful?
1. I don't know how often these bins are emptied, but based on the consumer demand, can this be done more often?
2. Is there a way to post the paper/cardboard bin status on your website. Bins available or bins filled? This obviously could save residents time and gas before arriving to find out these bins are are closed.

The staff here are SO helpful, and are always available to help lift heavier items from the car. So very impressed and pleased that we have such a great recycling center on our doorstep.
If only every one would recycle! It's the way responsible go!
I don't understand why the drop off bins are locked up during their bank hours. How is anyone with a job supposed to use this facility? You are now closed on Saturdays. That's real convenient. Defund the county recycling department!
Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. The site is kept clean and safe, and they accept just about anything. From what I was told too, they don’t ship the recyclables all the way to China as our home pickup company does, but they actually sell it to domestic (often local) places that recycle and reuse; creating a much smaller footprint than the home pickup service.
I love this recycling center! It’s always clean, and you can bring pretty much anything here, unlike other places that limit you to just paper and plastic.
They recycle plastic, paper including most boxes of pressed paper,glass,tin cans, aluminum, electronics ( small charge on some), and most metal products. They are very knowledgeable,
for example they said most potato chip
bags with aluminum looking liners are
recycled as plastic and most food/beer
boxes are made from a pressed (wood?)
process so they are paper as recycled as
paper.
