I took my 21’ Durango to aamco wentzville to diagnose a sound I was hearing . Their office manager Jim was professional and knowledgeable . Their lead tech Dave was very thorough and precise, he checked out everything and figured the issue. Problem was resolved and i was on my way in no time. Would recommend this shop to anyone!!
My car was running rough so I brought it in for a tune-up. Jim provided excellent service. He was professional, clear, and made sure everything was handled properly. The car runs great now. Highly recommend.
The first visit,I went to have my 2024 Ram 3500 transmission serviced complete. This would be fluid, filters and gasket CHANGE. I requested genuine MOPER parts only. They quoted me almost 600$. I did some research and found another place a little further away from wentzville that quoted me 405$ with genuine MOPAR parts. I called back to AAMCO Wentzville to see if they would match the service with genuine MOPAR parts,they agreed. I got it back the price was 422.56. It was a little higher,but not enough to complain. I haul RV’s for a living. Just a couple days later in Indiana Iam ready to do my first haul after their service. I put my truck in hill ,and haul mode and as the truck would gear down to a stop ,the gear shifting was choppy and hard like my tires were locking up. I thought it had never done that before. I drive across the country regularly and can’t bring my truck back for another week wait. So I stop using the hill mode and ,I continued to drive it and only used the hill mode for the bigger trailers. I used it like that for a couple months,had no problems. On my way home 20 miles from home ,I slowed down,turned a corner and my engine RPMs went higher than usual and my engine light came on ,after that it wouldn’t go into the higher gears,so I made an appointment with AAMCo again.It was time for an oil change and another transmission service again. I thought at that time I would tell them about my problem I had when I got it back last time. I was quoted 150ish for the oil change, and they said that they would use genuine parts on my transmission service again. Made the appointment,upon drop off I told front counter guy(Jim) all of my issues. He said ok,if we have issues we will call you right away. I dropped at beginning of the day. At 3:30PM I called him and asked what going on? He told me that they did a free check on my transmission and that the tech said they wouldn’t do a service because of all the codes it sent . They also tried to charge me 240$ to change my oil,after quoting me 150ish .They recommended on the phone that I rebuild my transmission and get a billet torque converter. They said my stock one wasn’t strong enough. I never said I haul 20,000 lb trailers ,and he wrote that on the invoice. He is a liar , and I will never go there again. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO AAMCO WENTZVILLE!!! The guyJIM had no excuse for not calling me earlier in the day about my vehicle. Iam now going to dealership for warranty,and will tell everyone I can about my experience with JIM at wentzville Aamco. Read the reviews people, they should not be in business. Incompetent service members that shouldn’t be working on vehicles without proper training.
Needed an “emergency” transmission fix on my Ford truck. Dylan and the team were awesome. Got me in same day and had my truck back on the road the next day!! And it was a holiday week nonetheless!!! Outstanding service all around. Would definitely visit again if the need arises and recommend them highly.
Absolutely love this place! Bought a car last week on marketplace it wasn't acting right it wasn't shifting right. So I called Aamco and talk to Kat. She was very helpful and very sweet. Brought my car in and dropped it off..... within 2 days the problem was totally fixed. Recommend them to anybody with transmission problems.
I dealt with Kat for all my information on my repair. She is so pleasant & was able to answer all my question. I would recommend this repair shop for you repair needs & I will return to them the next time I need any work done on my vehicle.
My experience as a customer at AAMCO was awesome! They were able to get me in with an appointment fast! The technicians were friendly and very efficient with determining my issue and to top it off, Kat was AMAZING! She was patient, kind and answered every question I had and also kept me great company while I waited for my car to be serviced! My transmission issue was obvious. I dropped it off after hours, they got to me the next day and confirmed my fears.

Had problems with my 05 expedition. Aamco got me right in. The other tranny shop in town was 2 weeks out. Aamco checked it out at NO CHARGE. Thankful I didn't have to pay some place $100+ just to tell me that my transmission is shot and it'll take another $6k to fix it. Appreciate the customer service
Great customer service! My car was not worth fixing but they did everything to keep me informed, look for alternatives, and provided constant updates. All with a friendly and helpful disposition. Would definitely take my cars there again!
I bring my 2020 2500 dodge ram to replace transmission fluid and the filter, they do a transmission diagnostic on it and told me that the transmission have menu problems and the cost to replace it is $10000.00, because it is not possible rebuild it. They offer me a recycled one for $5000 but whit only 30 days warranty. At the end they don’t replace the transmission fluid, not the filter and charge me almost $400 for noting
I NEVER WILL RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY ONE; STAY AWAY FROM THEM
This is a very honest business. I brought my truck in thinking my transmission was failing. Spencer and his crew did the diagnostic and couldn’t duplicate what I experienced. Spencer suggested to keep it until the afternoon and they would diagnose it again. To my surprise no issues were found.

We used this store when our daughter's car quit on her as she was traveling home to Kansas City for her fall break. We were in Kansas City three hours away trying to help. The car was towed here & Spencer was phenomenal! He communicated with us in a timely & clear manner. He was quick about an estimate, kept our daughter in the loop as the repair was made & was overall extremely pleasant & professional. Start to finish, the repair took only 4 business days (with a weekend thrown in between). We are very happy with all aspects of their service & would highly recommend to others!
Spencer and Ben did an amazing job. Came in and got my Jeep diagnosed, Ben showed me exactly what parts needed to be replaced and why my car was making a grinding noise during some turns. Spencer was able to get me scheduled in right away as soon as the parts arrived. Now it feels like my Jeep is running brand new again 😁 Thank You AAMCO!!!
Spencer is amazing!! I thought i needed a transmission cooler on my Jeep. Spencer quickly got me a quote. The day of install he called me to say the upgrade was not needed as i already had one. Yes. They could have done the work a s got paid, but no. Spencer said it would not be right to do that. I truly appreciate his integrity and ethical business practices. Thank you. .

Wow! They did a phenomenal job on rebuilding my transmission for my 1980 Ford Ranger! Just outstanding work and a very fair price especially for prices in this day and age! Was able to have the transmission dropped and put back in about a week! Very quick and efficient work! Trucks been in the family it’s whole life and driving it back home it was shifting amazing! In the 5 years I’ve had it, I have never seen that truck downshift and up shift like it should driving it down any road!
