I bought this back in Nov 2025 and just got around to mounting it. I recommend this and etrailer has some very good installation videos. The package was delivered quickly and packaged very well. The installation took about 4hrs and my vehicle is a 2020 Ram 3500 6.7ltr diesel. The only thing I didn't like was I asked for a military discount and they wouldn't give me one. Not that I was in the military but my wife was. Over all its an easy install and very good product and the install instructions were on the money and very detailed. I have not purchased anything yet. But I am looking into putting disc brakes on my 1993 Mountain Aire 5th wheel. The guys from e-trailer answered all of my questions quickly. I just have to decide if I want to spend $2200.00 on a 3-5 Thousand dollar trailer. Thanks for all of your help!

I want to commend Ryan H for being an outstanding customer service agent and a really considerate person. I was at wits end trying to find a means to repair the breakaway switch on my brake Buddy system. We both noticed that I was just under the five year warranty period. Ryan assisted me in getting the warranty process in place, and continued to follow up to make sure I received the new unit. Thanks a bunch to a really great person, I hope the rest of my travels this year will be as easy as you made this.

Robin's answer for the correct Wedge for my Reese Sidewinder to my B&W Companion 4 puck hitch was spot on. However, I read it too quickly and made an error since I'm new to Fifth wheels. I now ordered the correct Wedge as Robin suggested.

I will only order my RV parts from etrailer.com. First of all, their prices are great. Secondly they back their products up with answers to your questions. I use Amazon a lot... but not for my RV products. Been there - done that - bad experience with their vendors. Etrailer does this for a living. I ordered an e-valve electric waste valve system. I had questions about power supply. Jameson C. helped me with an immediate and correct answer. Support after the sale is important to these folks and it shows. I would highly recommend using them for all of your RV needs. By the way, the product from Valterra is second to none. The single best upgrade I've ever made to my RV. Life is so much easier now. I highly recommend the product as well!

I have ordered parts from eTrailer and used their informative web site for years, but the last two experiences with ordering parts has been a horrible experience. Parts are just not processed and shipped out, and calling customer service is futile. In the latest instance, a part was ordered that was needed quickly to get a trailer back on the road. In discussing the order, eTrailer no longer allows customer pick-up of a part, and assurances were made that UPS shipping could take place until 11pm that night. There was plenty of time between finalizing the order and getting it to UPS, but nobody bothered to process the shipment. The next day, no part, no reason provided, and the part was processed as if the order had just been received. The extra day in a hotel cost almost as much as the part because an order could not be processed and shipped.

Thanks Jerred! I was glad to see you picked the same brake controller that I also liked! Now I just need to find a good spot on the dash for the dial to be. Just need to avoid the (knee airbag) under the steering wheel. We plan to get a popup trailer that is 1900 pounds. We will be loading about 200 pounds of stuff in it.

We needed a small replacement part for a fan that is no longer carried by our camper manufacturer but I wanted to make sure it was the right piece. They replied to my inquiry within a few hours and the piece is on its way! Great customer service! Thank you!

Finding parts for a 40+ year old trailer during a rebuild is hard. But Kate at Etrailer was willing to help. She was very knowledgeable, and friendly concerning my question. Based on the stamped number on the Trunnion bars, my question for help was 100% answered. Kate listed all of the necessary parts, including the part numbers. Jameson was responsive but I don’t think I explained the issue well enough to make a good analysis of the issue. It ended up being a mid-aligned flywheel on both ends causing it to grab the plastic housing and not move. After some hours of manipulation and reinstalling that motor with both fly wheels aligned, it is now working well.

I want to thank Robin H for his patience, knowledgeable replies and informative feedbacks. I appreciate his explanation of my Torflex #10F being the 4000# capacity axle vs. the Torflex #10 (without the ‘F’) being the 3,500# capacity axle. He also mentioned that Lift Kit (K71-707-01) will match my existing mounting holes, which should be 8" apart on center. I like knowing stuff like that. So, all I need to do now is double-check the 8” center-to-center spacing, and plan on placing an order! I’m looking forward to being able to put the entry stairs down without having to hassle with the stairs by removing the feet — or elevate the entire travel trailer — because they deploy too low to the ground. Nick was very knowlegable and helpful. I was looking to put 2 kayaks on a Honda CR-V and had difficulty finding load assist devices that would not exceed my roof weight limit with 2 kayaks on board. Nick recommended the MOS kayak system and informed me tyhat I would not need extended crossbars and that it would work with my existing factory aerobars. I assembled the MOS devices easily and they fit perfectly on my Honda. Thanks Nick!

The person I spoke with helped a great deal and very prompt. While he gave me the information, I was rather shocked at the price. I expected 400$ to 500$ that was even close . That price was material only not installed either . I just will have to go without as I can’t afford that right now. It was recommended by a rv dealer to use it as is but I am worried it will not roll up and then how would I get it home

Thanks for responses from Kate and yourself regarding my installation question regarding the Progressive Dynamics converter recently purchased. The fan is not on because I think it is in storage mode without much of a load beyond a few LED lights. The wizard and mode button is putting out the correct voltage, etc. Your answers help me feel comfortable with the installation activities.

After a few minutes of searching online for a kayaking rack to be used with two sets of Thule Hullavators, I realized I was over my head and reached out to Etrailer. I have purchased from them in the past with great satisfaction. I would like to thank Jessie M for his quick response with answers to my questions and narrowing down the best options for a kayak rack for my unique vehicle. I also would like to praise his honesty in bringing to my attention that my setup my might be dynamically overloaded. Other companies may not mentioned it and let me purchase a kayak rack that could be potentially overloaded. Yes, it would have been dynamically overloaded. Upon my quiry, he suggest another bar giving me additional weight. I had heard of static weight, but not dynamic weight. I would never have known there was an issue, had he not brought it to my attention. It was easily corrected. I highly recommend reaching out to Jessie M for your kayaking rack needs. Would you purchase a kayak that was not safe, then why would purchase a rack that is unsafe. I suggest reaching out to Jessie M at Etrailer to be sure.

Outstanding service and customer follow up. It is uncommon today to find people that are sincerely interested in your experience and the product that they supply. I’ve used the Trailer in the past. I’ve always experienced great products from them. I’ve not yet installed what I bought here recently, but when I do, I will certainly post it. I recommend the trailer for all your needs. They have always given me great advice pointed me in the right direction and again supplied me with outstanding customer service even after the sale which is so important today.

Fast unloading they will let you use restroom but after unloading get off property. You can overnight there while they closed but in the morning leave smh they have a big lot see my pictures

I asked a question about the Tekonsha RF Brake Controller. Jameson C answered my question quickly and I ordered the brake controller. I installed it today and it works perfectly. The instructions were very excellent and installation was easy. I'm very pleased with this product.

Here is the inside of unpacking a $1300 B&W hitch I received from etrailer. Tamper proof tape was cut and the top pulled right off. Inside I find it is clearly not "new" - the interior part boxes had been open, nuts/bolts laying in the bottom - clearly not packaged properly. This was a returned hitch and resent to me. Additionally, not only was it a return - it appears to be USED (see photos of scrapping on the hydraulic). I reached out immediately to the customer service folks that send you an email when you receive your order - they said just to let them know what is missing and they will fix it. Move onto the next day to install and realize I have been sold a used hitch - I call the customer service agent, send photos, and video - no response (and this is all within their working hours). On the third day, I call the customer service number and speak to another agent because I want to get the process started to receive an actual new hitch that I purchased in time for my upcoming trip from NC to Florida. The resolution? They are giving me a prepaid return label and sending me a new one w/ "upgraded shipping" that I MAY receive before my trip in a week. Long story short, I ordered from etrailer because customer service has historically been great - appears to be slipping now so I wouldn't risk ordering from third party retailer and just go directly to B&W.

* Update* credit where credit is due. They reached out to me and offered a full refund, including shipping at their expense. I already have them installed, so didnt take them up on their offer. I purchased an air springs kit for my truck. The box arrived with the tamper proof tape open on one end. I opened the box up and all the bubble wrap that was supposed to be wrapped around the components was stuffed in the top of the box. All the components were loose in the underneath. Clearly this is a returned item. If I'm spending $430 on something, returned or not, I expect it to be properly packaged. The other issue is have I been sent defective goods? Why was it returned? I tried emailing all the excited employees from whom I'd received emails asking about my product. Got no answer from anyone. Hence the 1 star review here.
