This shop offers the best diagnosis and repair services of any shop in the kc area. They are thorough and honest in all that they do and are very fair priced. I sincerely trust them for any diagnosis, recommendations, and repairs. They are top notch.
If I could leave zero Stars I would, I took my car in for a problem with my fuel pump, he said he had to rig a hose up because he couldn't find the part,without consulting me first (which I've never heard of) so he crammed the hose next to my AC hose and the fan cut a hole in my AC hose and I've got a much bigger more expensive problem, the guy seemed disinterested in wanting to do his job just wanted to make some quick money and get me out the door, I would never take my car here
My husband absolutely loved Big J's Auto. He is a very honest man. And does very good work. I highly recommend this place to anybody that is having car problems.
No one wants car trouble, but if you have it, Big J's is a great place to take your car. They treat you like a person, not just a customer. The service is great and their prices are pretty good too. I highly recommend.
Great place, great people, good value. I bought my car through Carvana, and it had a check engine light come on within the first month. Called Carvana and was told to go to one of their partner mechanics. I decided on this one because it was close, and other reviews were favorable. Turned out it was just a faulty O2 sensor in the downflow. After diagnosing the issue and looking up what would be required to fix it, they called the financing company for Carvana to set up the claim since my car was still within their warranty. They made the claim, explained what was going on and that it did need repaired. Rep approved the fix for 100% of the cost.
My car was apparently special and required the coolant to be emptied, and a firewall to be removed, and possibly the AC unit to be drained to replace the O2 sensor. They did all that in a day for a little over $250, and my car has been running great with no check engine lights since the service was done.
Overall I would recommend anyone to go to this mechanic whether they bought from Carvana or not. :)
We were driving from California back home to Ohio and our serpentine belt broke on our Dodge Sprinter van (and other problems resulted as well). Big J's fit us in to their schedule quickly and were speedy and knowledgeable. They were very hospitable to us and our three young children as we waited. The price we paid was much lower than expected. Great work, great people!
